Stopped here as we were passing through town. Hubs felt like a Club sandwich, so off to Yelp we went and found this spot! Hubs had the Club, I had the Turkey and Swiss; we both had the fruit cup. And, both kids had a kids cheeseburger and fries. Sandwiches were great! They were loaded with meat and just as described. I wish mine would've had more avocado spread and pickles but I scarfed it down before I realized they weren't very prominent. These are meaty sandwiches and not filled with veggies so if you're looking for that make sure you ask for more greens. (Not complaining, I was very happy with my meal). The kids fries were awesome, luckily kids willingly shared. Now, the kids burgers were great but somehow one was over seasoned. The space was quaint and clean. The chairs were highly uncomfortable- I could not imagine staying longer than necessary. But, I'd get that sandwich again! read more

Our first time at 5 Points. On a scale of zero to five, 5 Points Deli & Grill rates 4.98 points! (I'll explain the missing 0.02 at the end of this review!) We were warmly greeted, and Maddie immediately asked what we would like to eat. Being first-timers, we weren't sure at all, so Maddie offered a "quick run-through" of their menu. "Sandwich or a burger?" We were hungry for a great hamburger, ava were asked for a recommendation. Maddie described her personal favorite, the BTB (Buffalo Thai Burger) and it sounded great. And it was! Just the right level of mild spicy, and the buffalo sauce blended in nicely without being over-sweet or spicy hot. Plus, being gluten-sensitive, we felt honored and appreciated when Maddie immediately said, "How about some sourdough bread?" Yes! (I don't understand the science of it, but sourdough bread plays nicely with a gluten-sensitive tummy!) The seasoned fries and pasta salad were the "frosting on the cake". (Speaking of dessert, we snagged a couple of Caramel Pies to go!) Only one small (0.02 point) recommendation. One: Napkins will be an essential resource for the successful completion of your mission, should you choose to accept it. However...we found our napkin dispenser utterly frustrating! The first dozen attempts to persuade the dispenser to politely dispense a dozen paper napkins resulted in twelve terribly fragmented, ripped, useless bits of processed paper. Recommendation: Pack the dispenser carefully, without over-packing and stuffing too many napkins! Pack a reasonable amount of napkins, close the lid, then try pulling out one napkin. If the napkin rips and tears, then you've packed too many napkins in the dispenser! Two: The chairs are not comfortable. They are attractive, and they fit the atmosphere, but they aren't comfortable, especially for the "wider of hull" person! The bench against the wall was helpful, however. Maybe add a cushion? Do not sleep on this little gem. We came here on our way from FL to TN after a BBQ place we had researched was closed. A quick Yelp search for Plan B led us here and we are not sad about the results. I got a classic cheeseburger and my husband got the One Hot Mess burger. They did not disappoint! Some of the best burgers we have had. Also, the fries were hot--and crispy on the outside while pillowy on the inside. There were deli sandwiches we were intriqued by as well. Now we just need to figure out a reason to route a trip through Montgomery again soon! read more

Yelp check in gets you a free domestic beer which I certainly took advantage of. I got the Grilled Cheese burger which was massive and tasty. Being a first timer I made the mistake thinking it was just grilled cheese with a burger in the middle. Nope, it's literally 2 grilled cheese sandwiches on top and bottom of a burger. Very good but just a bit too much bread for me so I scrapped the top "bun" midway through. Burger had great flavor and I would love to come back and try something else. Some coworkers and I stopped here for lunch. Quite the variety of sandwiches, burgers and some other items. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they got. I personally got the club. I have 1 critique, the meat was too centered so the edges didn't have much meat. I'm not sure what type of fries you'd call what they have but there's something about them I personally don't love. They were good but. It my first choice of style. The bread was toasted well, the vibe inside was pretty cool and the lady at the counter was so nice and welcoming. You order your food and they bring it to your table which maybe took 10 minutes for all of us. Great service! Club 8.5/10 Fries 7/10 I would definitely recommend checking them out. We all got sandwiches so I can't comment on the burgers but I'd be willing to bet they're also good. read more

This is a neat great establishment. However, the parking is virtually nonexistent and there is no outdoor seating, but the food and atmosphere make up for it all it lacks. Their menu is just like their burgers and sandwiches, huge. Take a look at the menu (see pictures) and check out some of the creative and tasty burgers they have. If you're not in the mood for a burger, maybe one of their stacked sandwiches. I had the Legacy Club and goodnight it was thick! My friends had the quesadilla burger and P.S. I Love U sandwich; both looked amazing and, according to my friends, were beyond scrumptious. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any choice of food here. I've even heard that the banana pudding is bomb-dot-com. If it is, let me know. Overall, I would definitely go back to this place, if for nothing more than to try every single menu item (they even have a burger with peanut butter on it and another one that the bun is two grilled cheese). Fun little grill in Montgomery. Had a nice lunch here on our way home from the beach last Saturday. Comfortable booth and table seating is available, though there's not a ton of it. You order at the counter but the employees bring your food out to you. The girl at the register was super nice and friendly and even offered to get an extra plate for my parents to split their burger on even when they didn't initially ask for one (so as not to overburden her). The place was clean and they played really good music! The bathroom is a one-holer but it was clean and tidy, so that's good! Parking out front is sort of limited but there's other spots nearby. My parents split a regular hamburger and French fries. They were craving a burger and were quite happy with this one. It's a large, fairly thick patty and was plenty for them to share. I had the grilled cheese with fries. It's made with provolone and Swiss, which are cheeses I don't typically associate with your standard grilled cheese. It worked pretty well, though! It had a slightly funky cheese odor, but the taste was yummy, cheese was melted well, and bread was a perfect golden brown. We all enjoyed our slightly seasoned French fries, too. 5/5 easy. I could describe how good it was but not even necessary. This is a must try in Montgomery, I was surprised we even had a spot like this. Was back in my hometown, and stopped by to try. I had the Buffalo Thai Burger and my friend had the Love at First Bite. She was thoroughly impressed with the sandwich and had enough food for 2 (maybe 3 meals). My burger was seasoned great, the combo of Provolone and Swiss is underrated and undefeated.. the cheese crisp was a weird concept.. I really didn't know what to expect but it complimented it perfectly.. the sauce was amazing.. the bacon we cooked perfectly. My first time coming here i ordered the Thai burger and they ran out of the sauce used in the burger which was 100% okay, and the food was amazing ! My second time coming, I ordered the same thing and they had the sauce for the burger this time. Once my food came out i took two bites of the burger and started to have an allergic reaction. The thai sauce had peanuts in it. The menus did not mention that it had peanuts in it and there were no indicators of it containing peanuts at all until it was too late. I let the staff know and they expressed zero concern or politeness. I simply asked if the cook could just remake it since i applied the sauce on other parts of my meal before i knew it had peanuts in it. Despite me already paying for the meal the cook then responded by saying he's not going to remake it because the sauce was on the side (even though i said the food was contaminated) and was speaking very loudly from the kitchen how "everyone knows Thai food has nuts in it" Not only is the customer service in this place rude and classless, their behavior is dehumanizing and absolutely disgusting. There was no apology or concern. ADDITIONALLY, my friend and i were the only ones in the entire restaurant. I don't blame the hostesses because she was just doing her job, however the cook is an absolute POS. Rather than causing a scene, i just left and they kept their food. The staff is very friendly and warm and the inside of the restaurant has a nice vibe. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries because I just wanted to sample their menu, nothing too fancy.
