    Breakfast too!!

Hard to say whether it's the food or the people that make this local deli special. I'll do five stars for both!! Good food served by great folks, Chappy's Deli has been a favorite for quite some years now. It's wonderful that we have such an excellent local eatery!! Thanks for all you guys do. Everything from breakfast to dinner to catering is great.

My husband and I were traveling with our senior group and we enjoyed lunch at Chappy's before seeing a play at the Shakespeare Festival Theater. The staff was friendly as they took our orders quickly so we could arrive at the theater on time. Delicious food was enjoyed by all 45 of our group. Thank you Chappy's for your incredible service!!

Chappy's has been a mainstay in montgomery for years, probably because they have such a wide selection of menu items and their food is consistently good. As for the servers, they can be hit or miss with their attentiveness, which usually correlates to the time of day. Either way, you can't go wrong with Chappy's Deli. Don't forget to ask for your free ice cream cone before you leave! I recommend the Philly cheesesteak, the bacon chicken cheddar, the Reuben, or the only salad I will order if I'm out to eat -- the harvest salad.

The fries I paid an extra $1.50 for. And the are old and cold

I paid an extra $1.50 to get a corner of cold old fries! I am beyond irritated! My sandwich was ok but it use to be better.

So disappointing and a waste of money. Mostly shredded lettuce, half an egg, one cherry tomato cut in half, two paper thin slices of cucumber and three olives with two pickle slices. There was some shredded lunch meat and cheap bacon bits as well. We used to enjoy getting salads from here, for the money we may as well buy our own ingredients and have good salads with more than lettuce. They also forgot a salad dressing, thankfully we looked. What a bummer. Save your money, the value isn't there anymore.

Great food, great service. I love the breakfast in particular. It's like a step up to a Waffle House but feels homey as well.

Alright, I had a great start to Sunday with a very refreshing beet juice and a light, cool kale…read morejuice. Both get a 10/10. I modified the BLT by removing the bacon and adding grilled chicken; that's a 10/10 as well. Let me just say, with the goat cheese, it was taken to a whole new level, and as you can see with the eggs Benedict no bacon on that, the grilled chicken will definitely be coming back for another 10/10. I was very surprised by this spot. The staff, of course, was busy with the after-church crowd, but they did a great job seating us. I really enjoyed the open space, and it was very well lit with natural light and good lighting in the building.

This place was so good that we went twice and the second time we brought our family! The restaurant…read moregives kind of modern farm kitchen vibes which nice. While here I tried the shrimp and grits, 3 meat omelet, and the chicken and waffle sliders. Hands down the shrimp and grits may be the best I've ever had. I appreciated that the sauce was not oily and they give a good amount of shrimp and conecuh sausage (this specific sausage is the key) for the amount of grits they give you. This may be the best shrimp and grits I've ever had so if you don't know what to order, you can't go wrong with this choice. The 3 meat omelet was bomb as well with plenty of meat inside the omelet with a choice of side. Lastly, the chicken and waffle sliders were also really good. The chicken is crispy and the hot honey sauce it comes with naturally motivates you to dip the chicken into the syrup (thank me later if this didn't cross your mind until now). I can't forget the sweet tea is very sweet and when you ask for a side of lemons, they actually cut a lemon up for you which I appreciate from a sanitary standpoint. In case you were also wondering, they offer military discounts and they will sing happy birthday if you ask (no free dessert but they do have some really good beignets to purchase). The beignets are really soft and go great with the ganauche. The only downside for this restaurant is the service is a bit slow. Both days it took quite a bit of time to be greeted by a server and sometimes they take a while to come by your table. This is a minor fix but if this can be rectified this is easily a 5 star brunch place that the city needed. I recommend this restaurant to anyone considering coming to it and I look forward to coming back to eat here (my mom still talks about the shrimp and grits lol).

Jazzy's Eats and Treats is a great place to have brunch, given breakfast and brunch is all this…read morerestaurant serves and that is all they have on the menu. This focus should and does translate into good results, but it is a work in progress. I came here with two friends and we were in agreement this is a great place for breakfast and brunch, but also in agreement their coffee and tea game could be stepped up. There are no real hot tea choices and the coffee is a bit on the weak side. There is also no iced tap water, only bottled water to pour over ice. They only charge a buck for the water, but it is a consideration. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of bacon, which I highly recommend. The grits have a creamy consistency aided with lots of cheese and butter, the latter of which is great for flavor, but could be restrained a bit. You are not here to count the calories. There are a decent number of shrimp atop, with proper Cajun seasoning befitting the eponymously named and New Orleans styled Jazz restaurant. The side of bacon, which came out in a caramelized semicrisp state, complimented the shrimp and added its own savory flavor to put it over the top for me. Jazzy's New Orleans underpinning was consistent in its flavor profile across all our dishes. The Cajun seasoning was evident in the Salmon Croquettes and the Fish and Grits my friends ordered. Everything received positive reviews, save for the pancakes one of my friends ordered on the side, which were considered mildly positive, and the Croquettes, which were a bit too heavily seasoned with the increased sodium content. Prices are reasonable and, after all is said and done, each person will come to about thirty bucks, including the tip, which is automatically charged at fifteen percent. Service was good, but this automatic gratuity charge is a practice I do not like and is reflected in my review rating, but do not let that dissuade you from coming here. 3.5 stars!

I'll admit, having lived in Atlanta for some caused me to be skeptical of this place at first. I…read moreknow 'these' types of spots when I see them. You can go down the checklist: Automatic gratuity sign on the front door, the grassy walls, and the steeply priced menu. As a matter of fact, when I looked at the prices at first glance, I almost got up and left because, again, this felt like a 'typical' Atlanta-lite brunch spot when I was visiting Montgomery. However, my experience and thoughts about Jazzy's would begin to shift right there. The waitress was very friendly and patient. I ordered the Big Breakfast with eggs, grits, potatoes and chicken wings. My guest ordered red velvet waffles and a breakfast skillet. It took quite a while, especially for the lack of patrons in the restaurant. However, when the food came, it more than solved and lingering issues I may have been pondering about Jazzy's. The food was amazing!!! The waffles and pancakes were delicious. The eggs and grits took me back to grandma's kitchen table. And the wings??? Come on Jazzy's y'all showed out with the wings. Everything was right on point. Also, I think it's important to note, the size of the portions given will more than make up for any potential pause given by the prices on the menu. If you are in Montgomery and in search of a brunch spot, HIT UP JAZZY'S you will NOT be disappointed.
