We were in the area and hungry after being at dmv a perfect pit stop; everything was fresh the staff was nice and we ate way more than we are accustomed to so yes we enjoyed our food . Plenty of parking seating and accommodations for my girlfriend in crutches. Thank you

Amazing and plentiful diner food. Ms Lindsay was an excellent waitress - attentive and helpful. My sister and I had their special of the day - pork souvlaki platter. OMG! THREE skewers of tasty pork souvlaki, Greek salad and French fries. Cozy diner atmosphere with mouth-watering dessert display. Our special came with soup/salad and dessert.

    Mold on the strawberry cheesecake

Ordered Togo and I got a cheese burger deluxe and the meat had no seasoning very bland. Asked and was charged for disco fries but did not get them. I also got a slice of cheese cake with strawberries. The cheesecake was strangely runny and wet. The strawberries had visible white mold. I'm pregnant and didn't want to run the risk of ingesting the mold so I can't comment on the cheesecakes flavor. This was my first and last time trying this restaurant. Pretty disappointed.

I forgot to take a picture of what I had to eat, which was French toast and bacon, coffee, orange juice, and some water

The breakfast there is so good. I was going to IHOP but I will never go there again because this is so good to eat at. The selection that you choose is much better than any place else. I almost finished my plate I had to take a picture.

I've no complains about the food. It tasked pretty good. Service was awesome. Servers showed up right on time at our table. Food was served very quickly. Ample parking available when we went (1pm on a Saturday). After the food I went to mens room, which was terrible state. Even the ones in NYC are far better than this. I almost threw up. Very much clear that they had not cleaned it in days. Very gross!

A "super griddle combo" with whatever egg I did receive in my order that was under my pork roll.

We usually have an OK experience here but this is how my egg came today in our pickup order. It's not even ONE egg. Do better. Will not be back

Dinner Special: Chicken Palermo. Chicken & fresh spinach in a white wine butter sauce topped with mozzarella. DELISH!

This historic location was a rest and play stop for literary and theater New Yorkers in the 20s and 30s and probably beyond -- check out the famous signatures and notes in the albums in the main living room. The owners keep a handful of rescued farm animals (pot-bellied pigs, mini ponies, goats), and it is clear they are well cared for. It is a busy place for big wedding events now, and so we like to stay during the week. It is very relaxing to walk around the grounds. We saw a giant heron in the pond and deer strolling. There are so many nice places to sit outside with a bottle of wine and a book or snacks. Rooms are very unique and comfortable. You have a lot of different personalities to choose from: lofts, cabins, barn spaces, etc. Many have jacuzzis which can provide your evening entertainment, lol. We have not eaten in the restaurant because our top restaurant on earth is very close by, but when it was closed, Josh gave us great recommendations. And he made a lovely tofu scramble for breakfast as a special request. One sweet touch: despite checking the room, we left without my spouse's expensive phone charger. Housekeeping found it and ran after us before we could drive off without it. She did not have to do that. Always tip your housekeeping staff. The extended Covid months have been very hard on inns, restaurants, and event spaces, and it must be stressful for them as things come back to life when so many events have been postponed. It is wonderful to be back out again. We will return -- a lot.

The Barley Sheaf is very serious about pandemic precautions, so masks are in full effect, and they'll walk you to your socially-distanced table in a beautiful, outdoor gardening setting. The inn itself is an architectural delight, as well, so you are surrounded by beauty on all sides. Service was pleasant and forthcoming. I wouldn't say that this is the finest level of dining, of course, you're not expecting EMP in the middle of Bucks County, but this is a good attempt, and people are pleasant and quite dignified. The guests were all well attired and the crowd is polite and kind. Food is of the adventurous character, which I enjoy. A lot of different flavor combinations (they like to do salé and sucré), beautiful plating, interesting textures, and good cooking techniques. My favorites were the octopus appetizer (so buttery soft and tender, which is a rarity) and the pheasant special, which was a pleasant and apropos surprise in this outdoor, country setting. Finally, this is a BYOB restaurant with perfectly selected wine glasses, fine silverware, and other special touches such as a freshly starched linens, etc. which elevate the dining experience.

The exception is Grounded for Life, which offers delicious breakfast and lunch options that are thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and satisfying. Their extensive, all vegan menu offers breakfast options such as bagel sandwiches, burritos, toasts, and more, and even their coffee is surprisingly good! I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport. The chunky chicken wrap saved me when my flight back to the West coast (already a long journey) was delayed by several hours and I was starving. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis. Service is friendly and efficient, but they are sometimes understaffed. Try to be patient and nice, and your tasty food will be out soon enough. I stopped in around 10:30a on a Thursday in December to read and enjoy coffee & breakfast. Every table was taken, so I asked a lone gentleman at a 4-top if I could join him, and he graciously accepted. Painstaking is the best word I can use to describe my decision-making around which holiday bevvie to try, and I settled on a peppermint mocha. Y'all, this was the quintessential holiday drink, with a perfect ratio of coffee flavor to chocolate in an actual mug - and not overly sweet. I would come back every day of December to try all of their coffee options based on that gorgeous display of caffeinated artistry. I also got the Prosciutto Avocado Toast with an egg, and it was so good, I savored it over the course of 20-30 minutes, which is a record since I usually win the award for fastest eater at the table (I grew up with brothers, it was Hunger Games in our household...
