Service was great and food was delicious. Loved the tv with the calming fish on it but there was a significant fly issue inside the restaurant which was off putting.

Cappuccino and lemonade.

Went exploring and to see the Fall leaves in Hackettstown and just came across this little cafe because mostly that was the only thing open that early in the morning. As we walked in, we were greeted very friendly and they gave us the table right away. First was the drink orders, dad got the cappuccino, I got iced caramel latte and my mom got the lemonade, which were all GREAT!! Then we ordered the food and everything is freshly made! The quality of the food was excellent. I ordered the mini beef empanadas and home fries. The empanadas were delicious! Definitely worth going back if in the area just for those. Everyone else's food was great too. No complaints about that! The place from the inside is super inviting and clean. People working there are very friendly as well.

Medium Iced Caramel Macchiato (~$5)

Ordered: Medium Iced Caramel Macchiato (~$5) with Almondmilk: comes with milk, espresso, caramel, and milk foam. Aya's take: Cute cafe with standard drink options and authentic Colombian pastries. The coffee tasted great and gave me the caffeine boost I needed for the long drive I was going to take.

Arepa with cheese

Main Street Cafe is very cute and quaint. I stopped by on a late Saturday morning before it got crowded, I was very excited for the Arepas con queso, but for me they were just okay. I also got the Tostones con queso, and for me, again, it was just okay. The reason I gave it four stars is because the omelette we had was excellent. I was kind of surprised that the Arepa and Tostones weren't better and that the omelet was good, but alas, I highly recommend getting the omelet. It was very good. Their baked goods look yummy, but we ate too much and didn't have room. Coffee is good, but not great. The service was very good. I wish I could give it more stars.

gray meat

i love the food here, and have been going here for a while. after my last experience i will not be going back. I ordered a sandwich for pick up, i got home and took a bite of my sandwich and noticed it tasted extremely odd. I opened up the sandwich to find mold on every piece of the cheese, and the gray meat. I called back to tell them about the order and they gave me a hard time saying I had to bring the sandwich back in order to get a refund. Eventually I brought the sandwich back to show them, i asked for a manager and they told me there was no manager. When i went to show them the sandwich no one said a word to me. After this, i will not be going back. They usually have great food, but this was disgusting.

Awesome local joint! I've been here twice and the food is awesome. Really fresh, really authentic, and everything is always seasoned perfectly. The staff are all very friendly and answer any questions about the menu. Did I mention their beautiful, full fresh and delicious pastry case? Really good food, big portions, and reasonable price. A must go when in Town.

Freshly baked every day!

After enjoying a terrific dinner with excellent service, I need to up my review to 5 stars. Grilled shrimp app came with 8 large shrimp grilled perfectly with some chips & chopped salsa. Yum! The mini empanada app was crispy & filled with tender meat. Ask your server for the other dipping sauces you can try! Entree's - green enchilada's with chicken was a generous portion & my husband devoured them - the best he has had in a while! I tried the Mexican taco's with beef. The beef was a little chewy. You have to finish your dinner with one of the delectable desserts that are made fresh every day - baker arrives at 3 am to start baking! Note - there are 2 large booths & the rest are high tops. If you want the booth, just call before you come down to reserve it.

I have tried a few of their dishes and I have loved everyone of them. I usually order there "Recalentado" which is rice mixed with beans, steak and eggs. Today I had their bandeja paisa. Everything was delicious. The steak was well seasoned and everything else on the plate was on point. The owner is super friendly. She is a sweet heart and always a pleasure to speak to.

Main Street Cafe Sample, toast is ordered separately. Very, very good!

The food was horrible, is not a Colombian flavor at all. Very expensive for the food quality.

The best kept secret in Dover!…read more My boyfriend and I came here by chance when we were in Dover craving yuca fries, and since then, we've been hooked! We even came here to eat two days in a row once hahah Prices can't be beat, food is high quality deliciousness, and employees are extremely nice. You really get more bang for your buck when you order Bandeja Paisa, Especial de Bandeja, or the Calentado Paisa. They're all a little different but they each come with a variation of your choice of meat (grilled beef, chicken, pork, or chicarron) with rice, beans, egg, and corn patty in addition to whatever makes each dish different. For example: Bandeja Paisa includes grilled beef, chorizo, AND chicharron; Especial de Bandeja includes maduros and a beverage. Those options are all between $9-$12.50 AND the portions are huge!!! Sometimes when we don't want to get a huge platter like the ones listed above, we'll even opt for ordering multiple sides to make our own "platters" lol. I've ordered sides of yuca fries, chorizo, rice, and the Caldo de Costilla (beef rib broth - $4 under the breakfast menu) and be SUPER full at a super cheap price! ALSO! They have the best pink sauce and hot sauce ever. I don't know what it is about it, but it's just sooo good and flavorful. The pink sauce is very garlicy and the hot sauce has a nice kick and a slight vinegar-y taste. Mmm. I can't rave enough about this place. It's a tiny restaurant though so tables are limited (especially with COVID-19 social distancing in place), but if you have a chance to dine in, do it! They also offer take-out. Highly recommend!

This place said, "Why choose a country?" and I respect that. Argentinian + Uruguayan…read morebakery/restaurant... with a Mexican corner on the menu just to keep things spicy. So yes, by my highly scientific logic, this is also a Mexican spot. The decor definitely leans Mexico, heavy, which its amazing, kept reminding me of my favorite Mexican restaurant. But anyway, we're not here for interior design, we're here to eat. There's a LOT going on here, menu wise and vibe pwise, but in a good way. I ordered the Sandwiches de Miga 'Olímpico' and if you haven't tried them yet, that's a personal failure you can still fix. They're a must. Soft, classic, comforting... except for the edges. The edges were... questionable. Hard/frozen-ish. Not blaming anyone directly, maybe the fridge settings were on "Antarctica," maybe they weren't fully thawed. We'll never know. But that first bite hurt emotionally. It was like ordering a burger without pickles, taking a confident bite, and BOOM! pickle. Suddenly your whole day shifts slightly off center. Service wise: the guy at the counter stared at me, I started my order with zero greeting, felt like human self checkout, and I'm fine with that. Sometimes you don't want conversation, you just want carbs. Despite the frozen edge plot twist, I'm 100% coming back. The food has real potential, the place has character, and I need to try their asado.
