Great authentic Colombian food in a mall food court! This posting is for the Cafelombia food counter which shares the same space with Lola's Tex Mex. Cafelombia offers a good variety of prepared to order Colombian dishes and a good selection of Colombian bakery items. I grabbed a printed menu off the counter and looked over the tasty choices. I decided to place an online order via ToastTab and ordered the Pechuga en Crema de Mariscos ($16.95 plus tax) which included choice of 2 sides. My order was ready and bagged in about 20 minutes after placing my order. The entree was packed in a big foil container and one of my sides (Boiled Potatoes in red sauce) was packed in its own round container. The portion of food was generous. The main entree in the big tray had several grilled chicken topped with Colombian creamy seafood casserole sauce topped with shrimp and calamari, with tostones (my other side) and plantains. The entree with the sides was absolutely delicious with great flavors. I was stuffed after enjoying my takeout dinner from Cafelombia.

Plantains. White rice. Fresh squeezed orange juice. "Colombian sancocho with oxtail". Side salad

I've been a frequent customer of Portuguese BBQ considering my family lineage but since it's a…read morerarity in the area I live in now, we tried Pollos Pucalor. For starters, the chicken is flavorful, fresh and always on point. The rice and beans as well, but french fries are always a miss - stale and floppy - but the chicharron makes up for it! The only downside here: if you don't speak Spanish, you're screwed with both placing the order and picking up primarily due to it being a family owned establishment in a heavily populated Latin/Hispanic community. I've tried calling in a handful of times and have been put on hold for a while or hung up on after a few tries. It's pretty tough to have a conversation with them primarily due to the loud background noise and distant tone picked up by their touch less headsets the employees wear. It can get a bit frustrating if you're not able to speak moderate Spanish, but the alternative is just order Uber Eats or DoorDash, honestly lol it's still so worth it though!

I wish I lived closer to this spot - it's a great grab and go dinner for the family on nights where cooking feels like too much. Ty for reading :3

The best kept secret in Dover!…read more My boyfriend and I came here by chance when we were in Dover craving yuca fries, and since then, we've been hooked! We even came here to eat two days in a row once hahah Prices can't be beat, food is high quality deliciousness, and employees are extremely nice. You really get more bang for your buck when you order Bandeja Paisa, Especial de Bandeja, or the Calentado Paisa. They're all a little different but they each come with a variation of your choice of meat (grilled beef, chicken, pork, or chicarron) with rice, beans, egg, and corn patty in addition to whatever makes each dish different. For example: Bandeja Paisa includes grilled beef, chorizo, AND chicharron; Especial de Bandeja includes maduros and a beverage. Those options are all between $9-$12.50 AND the portions are huge!!! Sometimes when we don't want to get a huge platter like the ones listed above, we'll even opt for ordering multiple sides to make our own "platters" lol. I've ordered sides of yuca fries, chorizo, rice, and the Caldo de Costilla (beef rib broth - $4 under the breakfast menu) and be SUPER full at a super cheap price! ALSO! They have the best pink sauce and hot sauce ever. I don't know what it is about it, but it's just sooo good and flavorful. The pink sauce is very garlicy and the hot sauce has a nice kick and a slight vinegar-y taste. Mmm. I can't rave enough about this place. It's a tiny restaurant though so tables are limited (especially with COVID-19 social distancing in place), but if you have a chance to dine in, do it! They also offer take-out. Highly recommend!
