Came into town to get something quick to eat when we noticed the baked empanada sign! Decided to give it a try and figured it's a perfect grab & go. As soon as you walk in you'll notice the different empanada display, we ended up getting a chicken empanada, cheese and a beef empanada. I was a little nervous in trying the chicken empanada from past experiences these can be a little dry when baked. But I am happy to say this empanada was just perfect! ! All three were really good and fresh. Would definitely come back here!

Great food, delicious and priced accordingly for the packed empanadas. The vibe is cute and the place is super clean too wonderful stop in on the Main Street walk. Service has been great each visit friendly and attentive

The empanadas are amazing! Quick and attentive service, he explained the flavors and how to tell them apart. Offered to heat it in shop or gave directions for how to do it at home. Definitely a great add to Boonton Main Street!

PP - Pulled Pork Empanadas and CB - Cuban Empanadas

Nice place. Spinach and pulled pork empanadas were great. Not a fan of the veggie empanada. Agree with other reviews, looks like canned or frozen veggies. Cuban empanada was good. It's baked instead of fried so definitely healthier. Empanadas are filled to the brim.

My complaints are that everything is very expensive now. Also, the chef does not know how to make a batura. I have complained about this before. What they serve for a bhatuta is just a puri that was rolled out bigger to look like a batura. Traditional batura is a bread made out of white flour and fermented with yeast. It has bubbles in it like bread. I wish they corrected this.

I was incredibly keen to try A2B Indian Restaurant after hearing numerous glowing reviews,…read moreincluding a stellar 4.8-star rating from 7.4k reviews and a passionate recommendation from my fiancé's South Indian friend claiming they have the best masala dosas in the state. Given the difficulty of getting a reservation at my current favorite, Semma, this was meant to be my new go-to. Unfortunately, my Saturday evening experience was an overall big letdown. We arrived to a packed restaurant, with the parking lot at capacity, which certainly spoke to A2B's popularity. The interior was spacious, offering plenty of booths and tables, yet it was still quite full. We were seated quickly after a short 5-minute wait. However, once we sat down, the waiting game began. There was an iPad on the table with the menu, but we couldn't place the order ourselves. After nearly 15 minutes had passed with no server approaching, we finally flagged someone down. When the waiter did arrive, they offered no introduction and simply asked for our order before taking the iPad and leaving. For drinks, the Masala Chai and a Mango Lassi (made with pulp, not fresh mangoes) were both good; no complaints there. We ordered the main event, two Mysore Masala Dosas with the potato masala on the side. The food came out alarmingly fast, within like three minutes, which immediately made me suspicious. How the food was presented was perhaps the most jarring part of the experience, the small separate dishes for the potato masala and the chutneys were placed directly on top of my dosa! That's not hygienic at all, and to have serving dishes underside directly contacting the food was a bad look and presentation. Beyond the questionable presentation, the quality of the dosa was deeply disappointing. It was soggy and not crispy whatsoever. The speed suggested it was possibly pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp. The only saving grace of the entire meal was the sambar, which was genuinely good, almost as good as my mom makes it. Given this experience, I completely lost interest in trying the Palak Paneer or Malai Kofta I had initially planned on. We finished with the Pista Kulfi for dessert, which was just okay, with a heavy taste of cardamom that you'll love only if you're a big fan of that spice. While we were there, another family in front of us complained to the manager about the service, but the manager looked like he didn't care since business is booming for the restaurant. I wouldn't come back here again; there are much better spots for dosas and vegetarian Indian food. This was an overall disappointing experience.

We actually arrived an hour before opening, but the owner -- who was sitting outside with another person -- greeted us with a big smile and invited us in anyway. He asked where we were from and spoke passionately about crafting his flavors fresh every day, using real ingredients. You could tell he genuinely cares about the experience. He offered us a sample of a dragon fruit flavor he was experimenting with -- it was light, clean, and bursting with natural fruit flavor. No artificial aftertaste, just smooth, refreshing perfection. We ended up ordering the pistachio baklava, and it was hands-down one of the best gelatos we've ever had. The pistachio was rich, nutty, and full-bodied -- not that artificial green stuff you get in most places. The baklava pieces added just the right amount of texture and sweetness, without overpowering the balance. It was creamy without being too heavy, and every bite made you want to slow down and savor it. There was also plenty of parking, and we got to sit outside to enjoy our treat in peace. We never felt rushed -- just welcomed and appreciated. We were so caught up in the moment, we forgot to ask his name -- but his kindness and passion won't be forgotten. This place is a gem. If you're looking for authentic, thoughtfully made gelato, this is it. We'll definitely be back -- probably with friends. *Update: We went back to Bosa Gelato last night and loved the experience even more. The place was very active and spotless, even during the final hour before closing. We shared a cone with strawberry and mint chocolate -- both flavors were delicious! The mint had a refreshing cooling effect without any lingering aftertaste, and the strawberry was perfectly sweet without being overpowering. The two young ladies working were super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. It was lovely to see the shop so lively at night!

I tried a bit of the éclair and we both agreed that it was the star of the show. I normally am not a big éclair person but this one was so chocolatey and rich. It was filled with this creamy, fresh chocolate filling. I strongly dislike the store bought cream filling that they are usually piped with. When you enter there a few areas to sit around and up at the front you can see the menu on the TV and through the glass you can see the puffs that they have available. I've only ever gotten the puffs and the cakes. They have a few different flavors (matcha, black sesame, Biscoff, oreo, etc.) and I've tried most if not all of them and they're all fairly good, not too sweet. In my opinion they taste a bit better once refrigerated for a few hours. The tres leches and strawberry matcha cakes are good as well, again, not too sweet. I'd like to try the soft serve sometime. A bit on the more expensive side so I only go there when the craving for the Asian style puffs are there. The service overall was good as the people working the front don't mind explaining the flavors of the different types of items they have for sale.
