Stumbled across this little restaurant after a run on the Columbia trail. I came with a group and we were all very satisfied with our meals. Customer service was very friendly. Service was fast. The food came out quickly and all of our meals tasted great. Loved my omelette and crispy potatoes. Would definitely come back!

So, we hit up Gronsky's Milk House for a late breakfast around 11, and guess what? We got seated right away! Totally wasn't expecting that since this place is usually very busy. The food was amazing as always. I kept it simple with a plain pancake, but man, it was anything but plain they are huge, fluffy, and full of flavor. My husband insisted it was so good because they use real quality butter. My favorite thing was the bacon....finally, someone knows how to do it right. It was crispy, just how I like it, not that limp, chewy mess you get at other spots. I also got the potatoes and they were seasoned to perfection. The staff was super friendly and on point, which gave the place a really friendly laid back vibe. First time for my hubby, and even with his picky tastes, he was all smiles. This is one of our top three for breakfast.

I went to Gronskys while visiting a friend. Cute, cozy local spot to enjoy breakfast with a store at the front with milk, ice cream and some grocery items and coffee bar. We waited about 15 minutes for a table it was very busy on a Saturday morning. We were seated at the bar and both ordered the breakfast bowl! I asked for potatoes well done and breakfast sausage. Everything came out within 10 minutes. One of the cooks was pretty friendly when he dropped our meals off and said this was one of their most popular dishes. It looked spectacular! Flavor wise we needed some work the eggs well they were eggs so no problems there but the potatoes weren't crisp and they had no flavor, the butterflied sausage was perfect! I asked for some salsa and that helped jazz it up a bit. It was a large portion my friend and I honestly could have shared. It was a cute place and when it warm there is a creek in the back with outdoor seating.

I gave this place another try and this time the experience was a lot better. The staff was nice and quick. I got a soft serve with rainbow sprinkles and a waffle cone. It was really good.

Visited Gronskys around 11 on a Saturday. Despite being busy, the two of us waited a short 15 min for an inside table. Our waitress and another waitress were very friendly, accommodating and had perfect timing when checking in on us. The staff behind the bar top were also friendly and interactive with us! The breakfast bowl with pork roll/taylor ham was amazing. Perfect mix of all of the ingredients and very filling! Probably could've saved some for later but it was just too good and the bowl was empty by the time we left. Highly recommend and we will be back! Only thing to note in advance is they don't accept CC so be prepared to pay via Cash, Zelle or Venmo!

Small local place that I frequent rarely because it's a little out of the way. Friendly service. Omelette's were above average quality and very large. Bacon is typical diner bacon, thin, streaky & crispy, not the thick meaty rashers I look for! Coffee is typical NJ diner quality so not great. You pay at the register and oddly they don't take credit cards.

Had many people tell me in the comments of my video's that I needed to try this place so the next time I was passing anywhere near here, I came! Gronsky's is set off of Route 31 a bit but it's far more quiet than the highway area and sits on a nice little stream. It was quite cold when I went but I could imagine it being nice to sit at one of the picnic tables outside and enjoy my food or ice cream. I did see they had a full ice cream setup and that is probably their main draw, but today I am here for the "Jersey Meat", Egg, and Cheese sandwich. Jersey meat = Taylor Ham/Pork Roll, I just refuse to argue about the name of it. 3 slices of the meat, nice roll, plenty of cheese. I would say this was a solid stop and I would regret coming here and making the purchase. The sandwich was $8 and it is cash only. I believe they accept Venmo as well, but I had cash so it was a non issue. I need to go back for some ice cream on a nice day but for now I'll say that Gronsky's Milk House - Didn't Suck! I love this place but rarely get the chance to go when it's NOT busy. On a weekend, you almost always have to wait. That's how good it is! The pancakes are a staple. Good chew on them. Great flavor. Today, I got the Hash and Eggs. Soooo good. REAL corned beef! A little on the greasy side but that's because I had them nix the potatoes that go in it. I can't rave about it enough. Great place with a hometown feel & fun cow decor. Great chatter amongst the locals. Kinda feels like a place where everyone knows your name. They also have ice cream. It was just too early for me.

Place is nice and very relaxing. We did stop for soft ice cream and it's good. Serving size is big and price is competitive. Service was good and the staff are mostly young people and very friendly. We had a nice stop eating soft ice cream. We will be back next time to dine in because at this time they only serve ice cream and desserts.

Absolutely 100% five stars! Stopped by for breakfast while visiting the area, it was packed (a good sign), but seated at the counter pretty quickly. The omelettes are big, beautiful but my favorite is their pancake! You only need one it's huge it's good and they have fresh fruit in them! No canned fruit Yes. And they come piping hot with nooks and crannies to melt your butter in. There's even an ice cream shop in front . What more do you want? Go already!

Service was good. Got my coffee refilled a couple times which was nice They're super busy Parking is limited but it looks like there might be another area to park Lots of cute little seats outside Pancake of the month: pumpkin It was really good. Loves the cute touch of the pumpkin face. The butter it comes with makes the pancakes even better. Soooo good with a cup of coffee Veggie omelette- Comes with buttered toast. We asked for whole wheat. Also came with the home fries. They asked if we wanted cheese and we said yes. This was okay. Ordered a side of bacon Went Sunday morning around 8:30. Sat at the counter and watched everyone. They have a good system in place. Consistently busy and everyone is helping everyone out.

The only area to access with a wheelchair - and it doesn't fit a wheelchair because of all the stuff they have blocking it.

It puts every diner to shame. The food is absolutely fantastic! So fresh they overdeliver they even have fresh turkey sliced every day to put on their sandwiches. I also tried the soup of the day which is the chicken corn chowder and I highly enjoyed it. It's a very small cafe and not much room to move about so when it's packed it gets pretty noisy. The couple things I want to note are around how long it was to wait for a table and food. We arrived in the area around 1125am and I called to place my name on the wait-list. Upon answering, the hostess informed me you have to place your name on the waitlist in person. No issue, I walked over to do this. Only to find out that the waitlist is monitored by Yelp, which can easily be done online. So that was very frustrating to see at the start. We then were told to wait 15-20 minutes. When we got to the front of the list, they then informed us that we needed to wait an additional 20-30 minutes as the kitchen needed to flip. This was very confusing and a big turn off. Eventually, I spoke with a woman who allowed us to come inside and sit down instead of waiting outside for over an hour. It would have been nice to know at the outset of this whole interaction that breakfast wasn't going to be an option and then it would be an hour before we could order and eat. At the end of the day, we ate our great food and enjoyed being able to dine at this place. I will just look into a few more places on my next visit here.

So coming here carries a bit of nostalgia for us. This concept feels very different from the original. It's definitely a more modern, upscale take. Portions are smaller, prices are higher, and the menu feels more elevated with a mix of Cuban-inspired and American flavors rather than strictly traditional Cuban comfort food. That said, the food is genuinely very good. The Cuban sandwich was easily one of the best we've had in New Jersey. Unlike many places that mostly use ham with a thin layer of pork, this one had thick, flavorful pieces of pork that made it feel much more authentic. A few other favorites: - The tostones with guacamole were a great starter. - Their chocolate latte used to be one of our favorites (sadly it seems to have been replaced by a raspberry chocolate version, which wasn't for us). - The seasonal pumpkin iced latte was excellent. - The strawberry banana waffles were more than enough to share. - The scrambled eggs and thick-cut bacon were fresh and delicious. We spent about $140 for breakfast for a family of four, so it's definitely on the pricier side, but it felt fitting for a special occasion like Mother's Day. A heads-up: reservations are only accepted for parties of six or more, so smaller groups are first come, first served. On Mother's Day, we waited about an hour after arriving at 8:30 AM, but their digital waitlist system made it easy to track our place in line while running errands nearby. Do we miss the old Martino's? Absolutely. The larger portions and casual family feel were special to us. But this restaurant offers something different--more polished, more curated, and still very enjoyable. I'd recommend it for brunch dates, family celebrations, or when you want to treat yourself.

Sadly, a poor experience and we are thoroughly disappointed. We were seated promptly, and had our lunch orders taken promptly which was great. Unfortunately those were the positives. The wait for our food was extensive - I was checking my watch to avoid being overly impatient as it dragged on especially because I always tell my kids not to complain and to be patient. Adult starter salads came out within 20 minutes, but nothing else came again until 55 minutes after ordering. The kids' starter fruit cups never came until I asked for them after their 'main' courses had come. Two of my girls ordered the kids' scrambled eggs which was a plate of scrambled eggs with a single piece of toast. My third ordered the kid's french toast which arrived as a small, single piece of french toast, with no fruit/compote, etc on top as was supposed to. It was an incredibly small portion, especially for a hungry 9 year old after waiting for 55 minutes, such that I actually asked the waiter for another piece for her. When this arrived, it did have fruit/compote on top (inconsistency?). My wife ordered the eggs Benedict, which is her favorite, and it was fine but the eggs were overpoached for what it's worth. I had the Healthy Meal - it was fine but nothing amazing. For the majority of the 55 minute gap between the placement of the order and arrival of the food (minus two salads) our server almost never came by to check on us or assure us of timing, and he never refilled waters or asked about drink refills for the kids. We all ordered egg-based meals, and the table had no pepper or ketchup on it or brought out with the food, nor butter for toast. Yes, we could have asked for it, and we would have if the food had come sooner, but after the long wait we just wanted to expedite, eat, and go. The manager did check with us one time before food arrival at which point I mentioned the kids still did not have their starter fruit cups, and she advised our food was coming out soon. Main courses require cooking, but a fruit cup takes about 30 seconds to put together, and the children at the table next to us received and ate fruit cup starters long before their mains arrived - again, no consistency. Things happen, cafes and restaurants encounter challenges, and we are pretty understanding of that so would not have likely bothered to submit a review for one bad experience were it not for what was said in front of us before we left. Another family of four (two young ones) next to us had clearly been having a similar experience to us and did not kick up an overt fuss, but must have submitted a complaint at some point before leaving. After they left, we were the only people in the front room for a few moments while the manager and owner were nearby chatting and clearing the other table. The manager told the owner of the other family's complaint that they had waited "an hour and twenty minutes" for their meals, at which point the owner inquired from her if they had really waited that long, and she said "no it was only 45." The owner then proceeded to dismiss the complaint and stated "isn't that what Mother's Day is all about?" or something to that effect, I assume suggesting that on Mother's Day we should all be happy and/or expecting a long, leisurely meal. I have no idea if their wait was 80 mins but if it was like ours it was probably more than 45 - like I said, I was actually counting. Secondly, having that conversation out in the open in front of other patrons is highly unprofessional, especially if you are going to be so dismissive. It is also tone-deaf to the fact that perhaps the patrons you are having the discussion in front of might also have had a similar experience and actually feel almost exactly the same way the first family did - in which case it is a legitimate shortcoming of the meal process that day, not an easily dismissed one-off complaint by a disgruntled patron. Finally, in no way should an eatery's owner use the premise of what Mother's Day is "about" in his mind as a weak justification for poor/slow service. I love a leisurely meal, if I am enjoying the food and taking my time, not spending the bulk of the time waiting for it. If the kitchen is slow for other reasons, so be it, just apologize and do something nice for that family that lodged a valid complaint. I was actually prepared to also speak to the owner about our experience, but after hearing his back-and-forth with the manager, it seemed pointless to do so privately as it would have been readily dismissed as well, I suspect. Hence an online review - which I have not done in years. Fair is fair, their takeout coffees and pastries are tremendous, and the barista staff has always been pleasant to me. But that is clearly their strength. We would not come here for a meal again.

Everything was absolutely delicious and you could immediately tell it was homemade. The atmosphere is wholesome, warm, and welcoming. The owner was incredibly sweet and friendly, especially with my daughters, which made the visit feel extra special. One of the highlights for my kids was the chalkboard tables.
