One of my favorite places! Amazing food, music, and drinks! The staff is very welcoming and make you feel at home.

Jalapeño Chorizo Mac N Cheese (not enough chorizo though)

An interesting restaurant! This place is great if you're into drinking as they have pretty cool cocktails! The food menu is not as lengthy which is nice if you're one of those people that struggle with choosing. It is pretty pricey but I'm usually satisfied with one "small plate" because their small plate can be as filling as an entree! Not sure if I'd go back for their food but their oysters were fresh! I did like how empty it was and not super crowded! Felt safe especially during these weird covid times!!

Dark and Stormy (a current specialty drink)

First time here, definitely enjoyed it. Came here to see a few musicians I know join up for the night as a band. The food was good & enjoyable. My Wife only got a salad, I wasn't taking a picture of that, LOL. I had the fried chicken, & we each had some drinks. All was very good. The chicken and Mac & Cheese were slightly less seasoned than I'd prefer, but a little salt & we were back in business. The chicken has a honey drizzle on it that gave it a very nice touch, and the Mac & Cheese had a soft creamy texture to it. Would definitely come back. The kitchen was running slow so we got a dessert comped as an apology, which we greatly appreciated, & it was so worth it. BESTCREMEBRÛLÉEI HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!

Circa, High Bridge, NJ

I have been to Circa about 6+ years ago and thought I would try it again. I had no recollection of what we experienced in the past. My wife and I walked to the hostess podium and waited. We waited for quite some time when we noticed her behind a wall with her head in her phone. My wife walked back, interrupting her screen time and she sat us and another couple waiting as well. She took drink orders of wine and mixed drink. She returned with drinks and took our order to return 5 minutes later to say "they're out. We ordered steamed clams, the special crispy eggplant, paella and shrimp and grits. They were out of the special so we had an appetizer of steamed clams. Clams were overcooked and and 25% were still closed and brought that to the servers attention. No response. The shrimp and grits; shrimp was overcooked and chewy, grits crispy and browned ( I wish I could get hash browns that well cooked. Paella; was a bit dry and the proteins were overcooked. The chorizo was diced but knife skills escaped the cooks repertoire. Many not actually separated apart for prep. Thankfully for the people of High Bridge and the surrounding area they have a bar and Peking Wok across the street.

This is a wonderful little spot in a quaint town. It was my first time visiting and the ambiance makes you want to visit again. With porch seating, grab a date for some good drinks and company. The small plates and seafood are of wonderful quality. The hummus appetizer was delightfully garlicky. If you are looking for a great date night, look no further than Circa.

Russian salad. Tasty but small.

This wine bar is way too cute for its own good. My friend and I split the Truffle Fries and the Cheese and Bread Charcuterie Board -- I always finish my food and I could not finish this. Make sure you have 3 people to tackle it. Like another patron said, this place is intimate and loud at the same time. They only have one bottle menu somehow in 2025, so you might have to wait a little to see it. Just saying. I think they only had 2 people working somehow, but we didn't have to wait egregiously for anything. Overall, highly recommend!

I literally said to myself as I drove around Somerville that I wish there was a wine or cocktail bar for...mature people like myself to chill at. So I looked up wine bars and boom - VintEdge was right down the street. I came in around 9pm, picked a comfy seat by the window, and ordered. Can you believe I had never had an espresso martini until that evening?? So my first was a pumpkin espresso martini. Well I may have had 2. And another drink. Ahem. The service was great, not fussy, and I wasn't rushed even as we approached last call. Visit 2: having heard about my great experience there alone, my cousin arranged to meet me there last week. Or so she thought. Through a series of mutual miscommunications, I was here at the crib waiting for her, while she was at the wine bar waiting for me. Once we figured that out, she got us some food to go and we ate here at home. Verdict: -excellent seating options - stools, couches, chairs -food is so so good. Tartare, truffle fries. Fig jam pizza -drinks include awesome bottles and seasonal takes on old favorites This could be my new spot.

Hugo spritz was delicious, mexican mule was not very strong. The steak frites and tuna ratatouille were the best dishes of the night. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the garlic butter was amazing. The chicken & asparagus dish was so so. Chicken was a little thick for our liking, and it only came with 3 pieces of asparagus.

We live in Clinton Twp and The Clinton House was top of the list to visit. Appetizers: crab cake and portobello fries. Crab cake was excellent, all crab, no filler, loved the sauce. Portobello fries were fine, a little dry, but good sauce. Entrees: My husband got the French dip sandwich which I tried..it was okay. Definitely not bad but nothing special. Where the food really fell short was my entree. I got the shrimp and scallop risotto special. It came with two shrimp and "four" scallops, which was two scallops cut horizontally prior to cooking and seared. Scallops were complete rubber and tasted like ammonia, and the shrimp were extremely overcooked. The risotto itself was tasty and I would have it again, but for $40 it was not an acceptable dish. Our waitress was not rude, but not particularly friendly. We loved the vibe and decor of the restaurant, and other staff we interacted with were pleasant. I would not return here based on food quality and price point. I think the establishment is historic and beautiful, but could be improved greatly.

They all reflect some kind of ambivalent emotional response- vindictive even…read more We have been coming here since they opened, and frequented his prior establishment at the Silk Mill. Nowt a bad experience. The menu is appropriate to the wine. This is a Wine Bar- that is the focus. Jason, the proprietor knows his trade very well, and is not bashful to discuss it, his passion for it, and his history in said trade. Said passion runs thoroughly deep, and his wealth of knowledge may even supersede this. The monthly Wine Dinners showcase his unending search for lesser known, and often hard to find wines within the contiguous United States- Jason being an ex-pat Aussie. I've come to expect a bit of a story and charade with each dinner- and experience. I like that the sampled wines are all generally for sale. The food is usually paired very well, and executed as such. There do seem to be a regularly rotating staff, but that's irrelevant to the experiences. It's his show. Sometimes the portions can be a bit too large at the dinners, and that says a lot for the price- very fair. As for the restaurant proper, the portions are fine. His curated charcuterie board is spectacular, and local. The Bavarian aspect is appreciated quite well. I miss Zum Stammtisch in NY- now, that does not mean this is a German Restaurant, but there are enough influences and pop-up fare that ist es wunderbar! His schnitzels are always thin as paper, crispy as seashells, and delightfully tasty. We always have the German Fare when it's available, as it so often it. For a state populated by/with so many Germans, this is THE ONLY good true German food around. The overall decor is a bit dim (lighting) and old world European- this is not negative- I prefer this to modern settings. There is a 'secret' Narnia room which is reserved for parties of 12 or more. I quite like the concept- though have not used it- had the tour. Again, the wine list is incredibly extensive, and you can always find what you want. Ask. Then, visit the curated wine shop next door! Truly one of a kind. That's another review. Book the specialty dinners weeks in advance as they generally sell out, but pop on a standard night, as there are usually a few tables open. Sit at the bar and chat with the staff about the wines- it's an adventure.

While the food wasn't personally my favorite, a few dishes stood out--especially the Roman-style grilled artichoke, which had the perfect crispness, along with the lobster ravioli and the German apple cake, which was nicely balanced and not overly sweet. The flavors overall leaned earthy, which may just not be my personal preference, as my parents love this place and are regulars. I would definitely come back for wine and appetizers. The restaurant offers authentic German cuisine and is truly unique, with nothing else quite like it in the Lehigh Valley.
