French toast sandwich
Will A.

Stopped here for a quick bite while driving though. Had an expansive menu full of lots of entering options. I had the French toast sandwich which was really good and I had never seen anything like it. Everyone else liked their food as well. The service was good and the vibes inside were cozy but comfortable. Would recommend.

Such a cute little cozy diner! Conveniently located right off the highway Allamuchy Diner offers hometown vibes and great food. I stopped by for breakfast and was not disappointed. Erica our server was so sweet and service was quick! I enjoyed the two eggs, which I had scrambled covered in cheese with sausage and hashbrown that came as a big portion for a great price at around $12! I'll be back for more!

This place is easy to get to from exit 19. On route 80 3 minutes Worth it 100%. I cant wait to try out their breakfast that everyone raves about So i went back for the second time i can honestly say the food i had was really good. I had the Spanish chicken and my wife had the turkey dinner we were both impressed The cook came to my table and introduced himself he really showed how much he cares about the people who come to his restaurant? I told him a him little about myself and said i asked him about his back ground in the restaurant business When i told him how good his food was and how much i love the diner you can see the smile of a proud man. They really work hard and they have really good food. I recommend the beef stew. The beef stew is excellent beyond excellent but the other food is good and I'm gonna continue going there and try all that all the dishes. I'm very intrigued by their menu. It's not a big menu. It's not a menu that looks like a book. It's a simple menu with chef specials and I'm impressed by their knowledge and food. I love places that name their restaurant or diner after the town that they have their business and it shows they want to be part of the community and they're proud of that community and the way they act the way they are in their personality. They show their love for all the town of allamuchy You never know who will show up at this place or this location in the future

Excellent Greek Salad

Newly opened diner with a nice menu. We have tried it twice. Food is very good - we have enjoyed the Greek salad with chicken (large portion) & Chicken salad platter. Coffee & iced tea are good; soda options are very limited as owner is still get that set up. Service is a little sketchy hence the reason I took a star off. We walked in & saw 4 waiters/waitresses standing around while a dirty table was sitting there. When my husband ordered his coffee, waitress brought it without milk or a spoon so he had to ask. Ordering my salad was challenging; waitress did not know what it was & I had to show her the menu & when I asked for no olives, she didn't understand me until I told her 3 times to take them off & luckily my salad did not have olives. I would definitely go back & I hope the service improves. Owner is cooking so he needs someone experienced to run the front of house.

French toast ham and egg sandwich.

I saw good reviews on this place so we gave it a go. First the parking was on the street not sure if there was a lot but if there was it needs a sign to state "diner parking".The service was good a very nice young lady was super. The food quality was good it tasted great no problems. The amount of food not great no sides included with our sandwich ? not good at the price point they charge. The place is small and to be honest its a breakfast lunch type of place don't go for dinner its not on a restaurant level it looks more like a deli or take out bakery. All things considered i give this place a 3 out of 5 stop here for breakfast or a bite for lunch but thats it. To improve expanding is needed or move to a new location also more food was needed sides for all items at these prices should be offered.

Awesome club sandwich and the sweet potato fries were CRISPY which is not the case at most places. Husband enjoyed his burger as well.

We ordered two entrees and after another review my sister and I thought it came with the meal only for her to charge us $13.50 for this salad. I also ordered garlic knots expecting six but she brought out 12. No problem she didn't ask and maybe I didn't clarify. The penne vodka was absolutely not all it was cracked up to be. And to make matters worse our drinks were empty long before we finished eating and the lady spent about 10 mins talking to a couple at the bar not checking in on us once. We asked the counter guy for to go boxes and to clear our check. He gave us the boxes and said the lady would close the check... we only waited about 5 more minutes for their convo to wrap up. I'm beyond mad and upset that this whole experience ran me $80.

We walked into the dining room area and found a nice little restaurant with cloth tablecloths. I apologized to the owner for my appearance and she said not to worry, that I looked just fine :) We enjoyed the garlic knots first which hit the spot after those hills that we climbed. Our entrees both came with side salads and bread for the table. My daughter got the penne vodka which is her go to. She ranked it as one of her top 3 penne vodkas ever. I enjoyed my chicken parm and the bread for the table was delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive, even though I felt not dressed right. You definitely don't have to dress up - but we were sweaty in leggings and hiking boots. But regardless they made us feel welcome and served delicious food. We will definitely go back again when we are in the area.

I'm used to getting ravioli from an Italian Superstore that's dotted across Long Island. Good? Yeah maybe but what I grew up with? Nah. I'm in The Bronx and I'm going to stop at Borgatti's Ravioli for our Sunday dinner. Walking into the store, it's very small. There are high glass partitions, no touching just pointing. I see the various pastas and ravioli but I want the big suckas. Small ravioli? C'Mon! I made the best red sauce that I will drown these raviolis in a sea of tomatoes. The small raviolis just can't swim in my pot! The older gentleman behind the counter asks if he can help me. I ask him to open the box and actually show me the larger ravioli. Oh baby, they are large and in charge. Why I walked out with one box still boggles my mind because I should have bought 3. I'm not in the area too often and the extra boxes would have carried me through the winter. I hand over my cash and the gentleman says God Bless to me. I'm not getting blessings on Long Island! When I came home, my wife made the perfect Sunday dinner. Those raviolis came straight from the 70s. Simply perfect. God Bless us, everyone.
