I have eaten here a few times, mainly in the evening at the bar and my experiences were very positive... thought it might be a great place for lunch with my work friends... boy was I wrong... Service was slow and frankly not friendly. Lunch was served. My friend ordered the seafood risotto and after eating one of the scallops recognized something was off.... It had an ammonia taste. It took us well over 10 minutes just to get someone's attention for assistance. While they removed the dish and allowed us to order a replacement item, it just wasn't handled well. The manager stopped by as he was making his rounds and asked if everything was alright. When we shared what was happening he apologized kinda and then I asked if they were short staffed today... bad question! He defensively said "No, I'm here!" And walked away. Didn't even ask what my concern was. Later the server pretty much said both she and the chef did not think the food was spoiled and 'I guess everyone has different tastes..." The ambiance is chic, with spaced out tables and a huge screen playing different images. Service was friendly. In terms of the food, the menu is pretty pricy. We got the arancini and octopus as starters and there were 7 balls of small risotto with truffle flavor and octopus with potatoes. The octopus was what I would recommend. The entrees all sounded good. I got the jidori chicken which was actually generously sized however my husband's Chilean sea bass was pretty small despite the $46 price tag. The lamb chops also seemed to be a skimpy portion and the scallop risotto only comes with 3 scallops. Overall the food was decent but my husband and I were still hungry when we left. We wanted to celebrate the birthday of our wives and figured out that this spot was a must try. First things first, parking. Parking can be pretty confusing so make sure you're paying attention to the signs. When in doubt, park with the Hyatt Regency and make sure it's not the back parking structure. Now for the interior, very well put together restaurant given the size. Massive screen in the background to give a special type of ambience that wasn't extremely upscale classy but definitely a finer dining restaurant. The food was so good! We opened with the mozzarella and the charred octopus. Both delicious but the mozzarella is to die for. My main was the lamb chops. A little on the smaller side but cooked to perfection. My wife had the Chilean sea bass which was good enough to make you cryyyyyy. The brussel sprouts were flash fried and perfectly cooked. Definitely the choice to have over the brocollini. The service was great. Always had a Diet Coke on hand and enough water. Everyone was super nice. The food and ambiance here absolutely deserve 5 stars, but the service is seriously lacking. I've visited twice now, and both times the service has been disappointing. On our last visit, we had to go up to the bar just to ask for menus before our waiter finally came over. Things were fine for a bit, but then he disappeared, and after waiting over 40 minutes with no sign of him, we had to flag down another staff member just to get our check. Located inside the Hyatt hotel it is a go to spot for happy hour during the week. They do have a DJ on Thursdays during the summer. Their food selection is pretty good as well. When I go I like sitting outside on the patio if weather permits. You get to view the pool and there are fire pits outdoors in case it gets chilly. Service is always good and they do a great job of getting food and drinks out quickly. There is self parking in the hotel lot and they will validate for up to two hours of free parking. read more

Came here for the Friends & Family event and to see my boy in Action Joe Jamokha. He's a legend in the service industry world and if he can't fix it, no one can! Warehouse 72 is inside the Hyatt Hotel in Irvine and I recall seeing one TIkTok a while ago of this place and it looked too rich for me. The big attraction here is the huge screen that's a wall that shows life size scenes of landscapes around the world. While that's cute, I wish they would just use the screen to its full potential and throw a sports game or concert up there because I don't care to see screensavers/wallpaper footage. This hotel loves a full screen wall! Aside from the one wall, there's plenty of outdoor seating in an area that overlooks the pool area (kind of) and has a fire pit as well as an outdoor area that faces the parking lot. The decor is white, sleek, modern, almost art installation/museum. So there are high end people here dressed up, but there were also drunk, loud, locals in their casual wear and guests from the hotel dressed in business attire or straight up pajamas, on their laptops, at the bar. Even though it's marketed as fine dining it's pretty much everything across the board so if you're looking for something different for after work drinks and dinner I'd recommend this place. Drinks were good, STRONG and unique! I got a cucumber something or other which was great, but my sister got the blueberry bourbon and I didn't think that flavor would work, but it was the best tasting drink I've had in years. Who knew blueberry would compliment bourbon!? We ordered the burger and that was a solid burger, reminded me of a higher end In-N-Out burger. Also got the truffle fries which were addicting. For dessert we tried the frozen s'more and they blow torched the marshmallow in front of us which was a nice show. I didn't like this dessert, the Graham cracker crust tasted like almond Roca and was hard on my teeth and even though they blow torched the marshmallow topping it didn't melt the ice cream that much so it was hard to eat. The winning dessert was the butterscotch pudding or pana cotta? It was to-die-for. Super decadent and something you don't find everyday. Lastly the service was not it. I don't know where our server went, but she would be there then disappear and that's the story everyone else had according to other reviews. My sister sat outside with her friends while we sat at the bar. My sister's server was some guy that resembled one of the Jonas brothers and she said he would disappear, do a lap and ask if he could get anything for them, she would request something, he would disappear forever, comeback and do another lap and ask the same question and she would remind him she asked him to get their drink or the bill and he would do another lap to see what was going on with that. At the bar, we had a really nice Asian girl. Her drink making skills are great, but she would disappear too and the rest of the bar staff were either busy and in our eye sight or gone for a while. Needless to say, they need Latino service workers that know how to hussle and get things done fast cause I can't watch another young person do clockwise and anti-clockwise laps with absolutely nothing to give! I came here with friends for NYE dinner. That evening there was a pre-fixe menu with four courses for $72. The restaurant is located inside of the Hyatt Regency hotel so if you valet with the hotel you'll have to pay to park or you can get validated parking. There is a large outdoor patio area with a huge TV/display that looks like a fun to hang out. The inside also has a very large display in the main dining area that shows various scenic areas and art. It's a very beautiful space and looks high end. We had a big party with 15 people and we were seated at a large table by the artsy display. We had the largest party but the restaurant wasn't super packed. The staff was very busy so service was on the slower side but nothing unreasonable. I ordered The Lagoon for my cocktail. It's a gorgeous blue color and dangerously delicious. After our drink orders were taken we were served an amuse-bouche of scallops that was refreshing and had a good balance of flavor and texture. I was looking forward to the rest of the meal as the amuse -bouche and my drink were both excellent. I got prosciutto and fig on toast for the starter. It sounds better than it tasted but I can't quite put my finger on why. Next, I had the lobster bisque. It's been several years since I've had lobster bisque so I was excited to have it. The soup was good but unlike any lobster bisque I've had before. It was creamy and a bit spicy which I really enjoyed. The main course was pasta with short ribs. I was debating between this, quail, or the lamb. I ended up going with this dish and it was good but nothing to lose your mind about. Lastly, I selected peppermint cheesecake as my dessert and while I'm a huge sweets person, this was too sweet for my taste. The other fixings were cabbage slaw, a chipotle aioli that was a bit overpowering (I never thought I would hear myself say that about something spicy), lime slices, everything (sans the line slices) on a corn tortilla. All in all - tacos were a 7 out of 10. The fries were EXCELLENT! 10/10! By the way, who is the tall, white haired creepy dude on staff that just paces back and forth and just puts out bad energy with his stare? This dude is a mood killer! Pacing here is a bit off. I had them box it up so I could eat it later. 0/10 because I didn't even have time to enjoy it before the main arrived. Main: Jidori Half Chicken Peruvian sliced potatoes, grilled broccolini, aji verde, cilantro Absolutely delicious. Well seasoned. Potatoes were delicious. The broccolini picks up the sauce. The chicken was a little dry, but over all, still wonderful. 9/10 Dessert - Cheese cake with strawberries. Fairly garden variety. I kind of expected something a little more bougey considering everything else this place offers. 6/10 Wait staff are very attentive. Love that they drop off a bottle of water at the table so you're not dying of thirst while waiting for someone to check up on you. The real, lit candle on the table is a nice touch. I like the overall atmosphere. Many families bring their kids too. I saw what appeared to be a several "date nights" taking in the venue. Must be a local hot spot to go on a date. The restaurant is located on the ground level of the Hyatt Irvine. Parking is validated but we had to park really far (about a 7 minute walk) because the lot was full of hotel guests/convention and church goers (like we literally parked in the furthest back corner, so maybe valet if you don't want to walk lol.) We had an amazing dinner here, after a disappointing experience on Christmas Day. We originally booked a 5:30 reservation for Christmas Day, but the restaurant was hopelessly overbooked. We waited around for about 45 minutes and then left. Two days later, after my husband politely complained to the manager, we were invited back for dinner. This time, we had a lovely experience. The manager personally greeted us. We enjoyed the Parker house rolls with butter and the fried mozzarella, which was delightfully gooey. For entrees, the New York strip steak was tender and paired well with the mashed potatoes. The Chilean sea bass was perfectly cooked and tasty. We also enjoyed the butterscotch budino for dessert. Luckily, I still made it to my reservation and the restaurant validated parking. The interior of the restaurant was very classy and clean. The LED screen was pretty cool, but got boring after awhile since it plays a loop of videos. My partner and I ordered the lobster bisque, the double r ranch signature filet frites, and the australian lamb chops. In my opinion, I thought the lobster bisque was a bit too salty and citrusy, but my partner liked it. I ordered the filet medium rare, but it was more like medium well. It was still good and the black truffle aioli was super yummy. I'm not a big fan of lamb so I did not like the lamb chops, but my partner seemed to enjoy it. At the end of our meal, we were given a complimentary cake for celebrating our anniversary, which was very nice of them and the cake was yummy too. The only dishes that were decent were the seabass, the honey butter that came with very dry Parker rolls... and the charred octopus. (Definitely not even close to one of the best octopus dishes I've had but just good compared to everything else here) Cheese and meat board was extremely underwhelming. We left it basically untouched. Seafood risotto was not good. Dessert menu is very limited and their signature dish is frozen s'mores that they torch at the table. It comes in three pieces but honestly, it was so overly sweet that we left the third piece completely untouched We actually had a decent amount of leftovers and I didn't even bother to take any so if that doesn't tell you how meh the food was, I don't know what will. The hotel has had a major renovation and the restaurant is the crown jewel. The decor has really been upgraded and feels very chic! The market in the lobby smells wonderful with fresh pastries and coffee. Lots of choices for sure We stopped in for lunch and tried several items. Came to celebrate an early father's day and birthday! everything started off good with the appetizers. the charcuterie board was great but the shrimp in the tacos are definitely not tiger shrimp size. my mom got the lamp chops and they were practically just bones. and the carrots were burnt to black. we sent it back only for it to be brought back with more burnt carrots LOL. i got the scallops which were salty and the orzo pasta it sat in was definitely undercooked. my brothers soup was barely anything and it looked like it was just poured in the bowl and microwaved. our drinks took a while to come out. my brother & i ordered espresso martinis and his was definitely stronger than mine. the chicken and kimchi were good. but one of the runners took away my dads plate before he could finish it. so verdict is....disappointing. you're definitely paying for the ambiance. read more

Our first dish came out before his drink came out and we had to remind our server about it. I think she clearly forgot because our drink came as soon as she went to go ask where it was. There were moments where our main entrees were given but then one of them I think they forgot about it. We had to ask them if they put in the order for the entree we ordered about 30 minutes prior. Wow!!! We had the most amazing experience hosting a private event in their large private room! We hosted a graduation dinner for the Graduate Psychology students from Vanguard University, and the staff and coordinators for this event were impeccable! It was super easy to work with them, they were incredibly flexible, all the way down to the last minute when we decided to rearrange the room! The food was insanely good, especially the Peruvian chicken and cheesecake at the end! Out of this world! For the price per person, this dinner was by far the best deal and best quality of any restaurant in OC...and we looked everywhere! The room is beautiful, and also simple enough that you could make it your own or do nothing because it was so simply elegant! There is a TV and sound for presentations, and the room is completely private and can be closed off from the rest of the restaurant/hotel. We came here for our anniversary as my wife really wanted to come here and experience the vibe we had seen through the photos. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the manager who wished us a happy anniversary and gave us a great booth seat. It was packed with corporate types there from a conference (it's at the Hyatt). Our waiter also greeted us and was very kind. The menu here is somewhat limited compared to other mid-higher end restaurants so I went with the NY steak ($57). My wife got the sea bass. Upon receiving my steak, it was cooked medium well/well done instead of medium rare. At that point you have to make a decision...tough it out and enjoy your dinner with your wife, or have them remake the steak while you sit there and your wife eats alone. Eventually, I chose the latter. When I received my steak again, at first bite, it was medium rare, however, as I made my way through the steak, it was cooked rare. The classic, "rush to get it out to the guy who we screwed up on's dinner way too quickly instead of doing it correct" experience that has happened to me at other restaurants when a steak has been miscooked. We got a free dessert for our anniversary (a slice of chocolate cake, very tasty) which, had we known we were going to get, probably wouldn't have ordered the smores dessert (which was actually also very tasty). In the end, the service was great, but the menu is limited and pricey for a rather average steak which was cooked incorrectly twice. I was very pleasantly surprised coming here for dinner with my 2 year old. I had seen this place pop up on yelp and was interested so I booked a table for a Sunday night at 5pm. It was a really great experience for us. Valet at the hotel was easy breezy and they were very understanding of my having to get my kiddo out of the car, get his shoes on and find every car he brought with him to just get out of the car. The restaurant itself is light, bright, open and airy. There is a very fun wall with videos of things ranging from sunsets on the ocean to gondolas in Venice. My son was a huge fan. Service was very attentive and very efficient with our orders. The kids meal is amazing. My son ordered a salad, a flatbread and a fruit cup (which was actually a massive bowl with a great variety of fruit). Major win there. I had the octopus, a summer salad with ahi tuna that my toddler claimed as his own and ate off my salad plus all the fruits and nuts and a glass of wine. First time here, for Valentine's Day , they had an exclusive menu which was fine , when we got there they ran out of a lot of the menu items so you really had no choice but to get whatever was left. The food was okay, but what really pissed me off is that they rush you and basically are watching you as you eat so they can take the plates away and move on. Just amazing! I noticed this place recently just opened, and i am SO amazed with how delicious our dishes were and how well we were treated here. They have a beautiful and huge visual screen on the dining floor keeping it modern yet luxurious and unique! I ordered the Chicken caesar's salad with chicken breast and instead of caesars dressing i requested balsamic vinaigrette + cherry tomatoes, they were able to accommodate to my request which i was so content about and the salad was just excellent! i also ordered the Java dub 72 (expresso martini) specialty cocktail and it was definitely strong. Well worth the price as it is priced at $18 i'm glad it definitely did the job for its price so i am not complaining! Fabulous time last night!! Brian their General Manager was spectacular, coming over to our table and making sure everything came out of the kitchen as ordered. I had no idea until he shared with us, the Chef's they bring in were from the "Surf & Sand" restaurant, and even another was from "French Laundry" in Napa Valley, they only have the best. I've never gotten served such a thick delicious hamburger on a $13 Happy Hour menu, it was fabulous, and cooked just the way we all love them. Besides the cheeseburgers, the lamb lolipops were delicious as were the shrimp tacos and french fries seemed to be cut there they tasted very good. There was a table of 9 of us, and the wall of scenes, with various underwater photos, Venice, flowers, fish, whales and it was so much fun to watch. We took lots of photos with the group and the backgrounds changing every few minutes. What also amazed me, is one of my favorite wines, I buy constantly, they have on their HH menu for $9, which was the Franciscan Cab, I love it. Out of a group of 9 ladies, we all agreed we need to come back and get a larger table, everything was so perfect.. I told Brian, with this great location, fabulous service and delicious food, we can't wait to come back. Brian suggested we come for dinner so we could really experience their Chef's creativity in the kitchen. I agree now that I've been there, and the atmosphere is amazing. Fun factor: you choose a fancy knife which includes a cute mini butcher knife. The time it took to get coffee was unacceptable. Food was fantastic! Food quality was superb! Was here on a Monday for happy hour and it did not disappoint. HH was from 4-7pm and we ordered everything off their menu since everything sounded good. My faves were the cheeseburger and the hummus but everything else was also good. Great price and portion for a HH menu and we were all pleasantly surprised. read more

Tried this restaurant with some friends while staying at this hotel (Hyatt Regency Irvine). Parking is validated for 3 hours. Our server Tessa was very sweet & let us try the blueberry lemonade which was so good! Beautiful restaurant right in Irvine where you don't have to make reservations weeks in advance. The ambiance & decor is beautiful. Restaurant is inside the hotel. You can valet or self park. Spring salad with baby kale & fat juicy golden raisins 9/10 House made signature fried mozzarella cheese 8/10 Fries 7/10 (over fried or oil needs changing) Jumbo scallops with risotto 10/10 Sea bass with kimchi fried rice 8/10 This might be one of the best restaurants in Irvine now. Warehouse 72 offers a unique dining experience with a variety of dishes inspired by different cultures! We had a reservation at 5 PM, but came a little earlier so we sat at the bar. It wasn't busy around that time. However, it became packed right as we were walking out! They also have a patio, which can be enjoyable when it's warm out. We had ordered the Caesar salad as our appetizer and it was pretty good. It had a strong taste of the anchovies, which I actually really enjoyed. The parmesan crisp on top was amazing! For our main, we got the black truffle angel hair pasta & burger substituted w truffle fries. For me, I really think the pasta stole the show. I'm usually not a big fan of angel hair pasta, but I really enjoyed every bite of it. And lastly, for our dessert, we got the s'mores ice cream!!! The only complain I will do is that the drinks came pretty slow. BUT the bartender was pretty new, so he was trying his best lol. The waiter also compensated us, which we were grateful for and that's why I still gave this place a 5 star i'll be coming back for their happy hour for sure!!! read more
