Friend sent an ig video of their video wall and it seemed cool. We ended up going here the same week for happy hour. The wall is not in the bar but it's only blocked by a sheer curtain so you can kinda see through. Might be cooler at night with different images. Not bad but ig be overselling thins a bit. Happy hour was great. We got a there's a long booth with tables. We grabbed one as there were eventually four of us. Three TVs, I think they were playing sports but I wasn't watching. Our server was fine when we got there at 415, but by 5 it was busier and took longer to place orders and get things. I got 3 of the lavender bombs - suffice to say I enjoyed them. Very refreshing and only $8 each. The burger was also good. I got it without cheese and added ketchup since there wasn't a ton of their house sauce but I also ordered a second one. Fries were good - they were truffle which I personally am not a fan of. My friend said the shrimp tacos were great before but just decent this time so she also got a burger as her second entree. The arancini were definitely more appetizer size and amount. And the hummus was a good appetizer to share. All in all, we had a great time enjoying ourselves eating and drinking to our full during happy hour. The host also validated our parking (just make sure you park in the right lot). They have an outpost area with a fire pit that I'd love to try when it's warmer. Will definitely be back! read more

We ordered the mozzarella, fries, and hideous chicken. A huge piece of white plastic adhering to three fries was served to us. Good thing no one ate it and choked or got sick. Half the Jidori chicken was raw - pink raw- our server and another server said it was fine. Are you kidding me. The manager took that plate and replaced it with one that was about a minute shy of burnt. Point taken. We will never be back. 2 Stars because our server was nice but couldn't tell raw from cooked chicken. Update - dropped down to one star. My friend now has food poisining. read more

Loved the large LED screen. Made for unique pictures/cideos and a cool ambiance. Food wise it was surprisingly really good. We had the bone marrow as an appetizer, and then for entrees the Salmon and Lamb. The only minor complaint we have is a better bread could have been chosen to be served with the bone marrow that would be more fitting, such as french bread, but taste wise it was all excellent. Service was great as well. Food came out quickly and they were very willing to accommodate to swap out certain foods that came with the entrees as we needed. It is more on the pricier side, but overall we had a great experience I'd say it's definitely worth checking out if you haven't been before. read more

The ambiance was great . Stunning tables and screens with changing images . Unfortunately the food wasn't good. My husband sent back his pasta because the flavoring was off and not what he had expected . My steak was ok but severely undercooked and raw in the middle . After sending back my husband's meal , I just didn't want to deal with anything else especially since it was my birthday and I didn't want to complain and make my husband feel bad. Warehouse 72, tucked inside the newly revamped (and beyond fabulous) Hyatt Regency in Irvine, is like stepping into a chic Vegas lounge--minus the slot machines and plus a whole lot more class. The atmosphere is on point, with rotating screen imagery, think Las Vegas cosmopolitan an artistic wavy ceiling fixture, and a nice bar that's still filling out but promises good times ahead. Oh, and the seating? Green velvet chairs stiff but wide, I nearly asked if they sold them on the side. The staff is top-notch--polished, professional, and working together like they've been through restaurant boot camp. They'll make you feel like royalty. And the water? Served in a cold, beautiful glass jar on a small silver tray (fancy, right?), but it's just tap water, so don't get too carried away. Now, let's dig into the food. For starters, we went for the fried mozzarella ($16). It arrived looking like a masterpiece--two large pieces of mozzarella topped with microgreens on a thin tomato compote. Sounds perfect, right? Well, the mozzarella was delicious, but that breading--oh boy, thick as a winter coat. The sauce was minimal, so it was a little hard to balance out the textures. But hey, mozzarella lovers will still appreciate it. Next, I had the market salad ($18). It's a solid mix of greens, apricots, almonds, sunflower seeds, raisins, and blueberries. However, the raisins and dried apricots were in a bit of a flavor battle, and the almonds got soggy, thanks to the dressing. It's okay, but nothing to rave about--the dressing just didn't pack the punch to make the salad sing. NOT WORTH IT My husband, the smart one, ordered the seared scallops ($43). This dish was the highlight of the meal and totally lived up to the hype. For dessert, we shared the butterscotch baddino ($12). It was smooth, sweet, and the perfect end to the meal the Carmel sauce was a premade not in house but the rest good. The décor adds to the overall vibe, with unique draperies, an invisible door (seriously cool) that leads to an outdoor patio, and gorgeous lighting throughout. It's easy to picture this spot hosting corporate events, holiday parties, or becoming the Thursday night hangout for singles. Now, is it worth it? For two people, this meal (with tax) came to $106.68 (tax added $7.68), and after leaving a generous 20% tip, the total was $128.02. The big question: Was it worth it? Well, it depends on what you value. If you're after a trendy, stylish spot with fabulous service, delicious scallops, and a beautiful atmosphere, then yes, it's definitely worth a visit. However, the salad and mozzarella didn't quite hit the mark for me, so there's room for improvement. But if you're ordering the right dishes (cough scallops cough), you'll walk away satisfied--and maybe even planning your next visit. The backdrop screen entertained my little one while we were waiting for food after we ordered. Place is very clean and beautiful. Amazing food and ambiance currently in soft opening! Love how open and bright the space is. Perfect location to host business meetings (they actually have a massive video wall which can also be used for presentations). House-made mozzarella sticks are an absolute must (we ended up ordering 3!) and the kiddos loved their pasta dish. Great coursed out kids menu; they can select a starter -- they went with more mozzarella sticks! -- and had options for pastas, chicken fingers, pizza, etc. The smores dessert was to die for and the adults all ended up trying to steal more bites from them. Excited to see what the patio looks like when they are all done (indoor/outdoor vibe). We were in Irvine for our daughters tournament over the weekend. Heard about this place thru a bartender we follow on Instagram. He served us before at another restaurant and he is amazing so we thought we would come in to say hello. The place is esquisit, amazing, beautiful. The screen was so vibrant and bright. The bar has a beautiful patio that we sat belly up at the bar top. Like always John was on point. Haven't seen him behind the bar in a while but it was like he hasn't skipped a beat. We tried a new drink for March called "Lucky U" it was amazing. Had the Rejuvination and an Old Fashioned with Candied Bacon. For dinner we shared the octopus to start, then the Jidori Chicken and the Scalloops. We did not have toom for dessert but we did have wine with dinner and their selection was great. All and all our expierence was amazing. John was a great host at the bar and didn't skip a beat helping tables, bartop and making drinks for the other staff members. We had a lot of fun here for Valentines dinner. They had a pre fixed menu and my husband and I tried almost everything. Our favorites were the ribeye, dumplings, and lemon tart. The vibe was upbeat and their specialty cocktail "Love potion" was tasty and fun to look at. There was some confusion with dishes coming out but our waiter was very friendly and it wasn't a big issue. They had a Photo Booth set up and we were sent home with some excellent chocolates. I have been coming here for a while just for the food and drinks, not staying at the hotel. The food is incredible and the drinks are just as amazing, beautiful and tasty! I got the pleasure of having the bartender name John serve us each time and let me tell you does he do the work! Put in the work and never leaves any guest unattended and gives us exceptional service. Our last visit I did notice a manger walking around and looked confused like he didn't know what to do, yet we saw our bartender instruct others on attending each guest. Def coming back! read more

We were in over the weekend, third time here. Menu options have changed. Service AT FIRST was horrible. We were sat and no one greeted us, the server who we were suppose to have walked by us a dozen times with our acknowledging us. So we decided we weren't important and got up to leave. Then after being asked not to we had the best service we have ever had, Jon was his name, he had a different apron on, we were told he was the Bartender, but not only did he apologize, he gave us great suggestions on entree, wine pairing with the meal and dessert. He save our date night, my wife was very impressed with the level of service at that point as she was ready to roast the first server who was completely out of his element, maybe have Jon train him. First server 1 star Appetizers 4 stars, octopus was a little chewy Entree 5 star, lamb with red wine, , sea bass amazing. Dessert 5 stars frozen s'mores I'll try to recreate at home for the kid Jon 10 stars for saving our well needed date night and for being so accommodating and pleasant. My husband and I came to have dinner and were told we could sit at the bar for their happy hour. We got there and sat outside. Others sat after us and we were ignored. We thought because it was pretty empty outside we might get better service inside. We sat inside and were still ignored by the staff the whole time. After waiting 20 minutes, we decided to leave. Others were getting their drinks and orders in, but no one even came by to give us water or even acknowledge us. We thought it would be a nice place to come but we were wrong. Genuinely incredible restaurant for so many reasons. I will give just a few. Me and some friends decided to check it out and we were pleasantly surprised to find our new favorite restaurant. First, the food. We shared the crudo and bone marrow appetizer. The crudo was fresh and tasty. I had bone marrow before at other places (and was honestly not too big a fan) but trying it here has completely changed my opinion. It was so good! For my main, I had the steak and frites which was a generous amount of fantastic steak and tasty frites. Not overly salty which is my usual complaint at other places. The food overall was simply 10/10. Setting aside that the food was easily top 5 restaurants in OC, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations and even when I took an awkward amount of time to choice my meal, they had a smile on their face. Additionally, the ambiance was great with these awesome floor to ceiling screens. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Super cool and I can't wait to come back! read more

However, the food is overpriced for menu items that aren't unique or exceptional. I wouldn't return even on a special occasion. Some people must like it here and at other locations. What a great place, we got sat immediately and our bartender/server Eddie was so welcoming. He created such a unique experience, we trusted him with our whole meal and he did not disappoint, the octopus dish was so yummy.
