I knew what I wanted but wasn't sure was going to find, as not many people like big and funky; but…read morethe sales people instantly got exactly what i was looking for and the ones they brought out were so spectacular I ended up having the hardest time choosing. They even asked if I wanted to think about it and call back the following Monday. They were SO friendly, so attentive, and let me know why they liked some and not others so I never felt like I was being "sold" something that really didn't look good (and if I was, then they are also great actors). In the end, I got two pairs, with progressive lens and transition; so forget any home improvements this spring (only mildly joking, but the cost of progressives isn't the store's fault). Just picked them up earlier this week and am absolutely thrilled. I really wasn't looking forward to getting glasses, had put off for as long as I could; but they made the experience so pleasant, I will definitely use them and/or recommend them again. Oh yes, the doctor too (and I've been to many) made me completely comfortable, i didn't feel rushed or stupid (like I normally do). He even said my sight was still legal driving but that I would definitely notice a difference. And because I have started to notice a harder time driving at night, that difference means a lot. Really grateful there were no hard sells. Really, really pleased with the work and the care.

Hughes had an excellent selection of glasses to choose from. I was looking for a specific brand and…read morethey are the only place in the Capitol region to carry it. My entire appointment was seamless, from scheduling to getting my vision, checked, to picking out glasses with help from the lovely and friendly staff. My glasses were ready in one week and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

I've been a patient of Casey Vision for over 10 years. I have a wacky prescription and have been in…read moreglasses since kindergarten. For years I went to discount and mall optometrists but never again. It wasn't until I had a really well-made pair of glasses from Casey's that I realized what I was missing. They are definitely on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. After a thorough exam a different person helps you select the right pair of frames. The folks who work there have a good eye for style and know what frames will work well with your prescription and your face shape. If you have a tricky script, are looking for high quality or are just plain fashionable, Casey Vision is a great choice for glasses.

I've been going to Casey Vision for over 30 years and have always had a great experience with the…read moredoctors. They're knowledgeable, kind, and provide excellent care. Unfortunately, what has consistently taken away from that experience over the years is the front office staff--specifically, Joanne. Joanne has a long history of being dismissive, unhelpful, and at times, openly rude. Years ago, she refused to release my prescription for a snorkeling mask until I spoke to the doctor, which felt unnecessarily difficult. Last year, when I got glasses from their office, no one explained they were progressives--and when I had trouble adjusting, the process to fix it took multiple visits. There was no guidance or accountability on her part. Most recently, as I waited for my appointment, she loudly said to another staff member, "There's the girl who was a problem." I hadn't even spoken yet. When I asked to set up a time to look at frames, she said there was nothing available, despite it being well before closing. It was very clear I was being intentionally pushed away. What really stood out was how familiar this behavior seems to be. When I casually mentioned my experience to a coworker, my boss overheard and said, without hesitation, "That sounds like Joanne from Casey Vision--that's why I don't go there anymore." I've also noticed several other reviews here mentioning her by name, which unfortunately lines up with what I experienced. The doctors are great, but Joanne makes the overall environment uncomfortable. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously, because no matter how good the care is, the experience at the front desk sets the tone--and she's driving patients away.

I have had some not so great encounters over the years and when it came time for me to consider getting glasses again I was not looking forward to the experience. Honestly, I chose CJ Sabatini because of their proximity to where I live. I very much like to support local business. So, I make the appointment to get my exam and glasses and upon arrival the first person I encounter is Chris - the owner. From the minute I met him I knew I was in good hands. He was very friendly and treated me respectfully and it was obvious he appreciated my business. He was not being governed by some franchise pressures to meet sales quotas and up sell. Chris was genuinely interested in me, as a person. So much so that there would have been a small balance over and above what my insurance would allow and Chris just said "forget it" and only charged me the insurance reimbursement amount. How many places would have turned down the opportunity to make addition money - regardless of how small that amount might have been? In short, Chris is a star. His pricing is very competitive. He delivered my glasses exactly when he said he would. He is an honest, reliable, businessman and he is the only one I will purchases glasses from when I need them again. his staff is also wonderful. I, unfortunately, cannot remember the name of the young woman who is at his front desk but she is all personality, super friendly, and a pleasure to work with.

After several experiences over the course of the week were staff violated my HIPPA rights - notably when one receptionist grabbed the phone from another, stated my name and said she was ending the call (direct HIPPA violation) and hung up on me, I'm now tasked with tedious ethical obligations. It's important to note I deal with two large Doctors offices weekly - for many years, including getting prior authorizations - for a serious internal injury. The staff openly talk about patients. Dr. Roth engaged in office gossip, then based off that decided to call and attempt to degrade and threaten me. They're all rather stupid not to realize everyone has the ability to record things, and as a communication professional, I was so disturbed after my first contact I knew to protect myself. The slander he slung hurt him grossly as it is all contradicted by the conversation I had earlier in the day with Casey (who is highly manipulative and exhibits deep psychosis/lack of empathy comparable to seri@l k!llrs). He didn't even take the time to collect information before the call, not aware his threat meant nothing and me answering was giving him the shovel. He talks real loud.
