Lenscrafters had me come in to make sure that what I said was indeed happening. I went in, almost a 1 hour trip. Yes, confirmed. Ordered new lenses. Great. Waited for them and went back as soon as they let me know the lenses arrived. They were the wrong prescription in the lenses! At this point I would have given a 1 star. However, I wanted to wait to see how this all ended. A new pair of glasses was ordered, complete new pair, and that was very amenable to me. When my glasses came in, they were going to UPS me the new pair, overnight service. So, my glasses came in and a note was left for the person, Kevin, to take them to the carrier. The carrier was NOT specified on the note! So he took them to USPS and called me to let me know. It was all I could do to not get angry. I went over it with Kevin that UPS will get them to me the next day...USPS will get them to me?, who knows! Kevin went to USPS and got the glasses that he mailed back! Then, someone else drove an almost 1 hour trip, one way, to bring me my glasses!! I didn't expect that! That went above and beyond what could have been expected! These notices were obnoxious to say the least. Including a large note saying that if you dared to be cranky they would add a $50 fee to your bill as a fine for bad behavior. When I pointed out that this seemed less than professional I was told in a terse tone of voice that it was joke, that most people "got it", and "... if you had to deal with the people that I have to deal with all day long then you would get it too." This complete lack of professionalism might be okay in a dive bar, but I find it unacceptable in a medical environment where the office is interacting with patients. Unfortunately, what has consistently taken away from that experience over the years is the front office staff--specifically, Joanne. Joanne has a long history of being dismissive, unhelpful, and at times, openly rude. Years ago, she refused to release my prescription for a snorkeling mask until I spoke to the doctor, which felt unnecessarily difficult. Last year, when I got glasses from their office, no one explained they were progressives--and when I had trouble adjusting, the process to fix it took multiple visits. There was no guidance or accountability on her part. Most recently, as I waited for my appointment, she loudly said to another staff member, "There's the girl who was a problem." I hadn't even spoken yet. When I asked to set up a time to look at frames, she said there was nothing available, despite it being well before closing. It was very clear I was being intentionally pushed away. What really stood out was how familiar this behavior seems to be. When I casually mentioned my experience to a coworker, my boss overheard and said, without hesitation, "That sounds like Joanne from Casey Vision--that's why I don't go there anymore." I've also noticed several other reviews here mentioning her by name, which unfortunately lines up with what I experienced. The doctors are great, but Joanne makes the overall environment uncomfortable. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously, because no matter how good the care is, the experience at the front desk sets the tone--and she's driving patients away.

I gotta give them that. That is if their equipment is working properly and they don't have to redo the test as they had to do with me at least twice. When I initially made my appointment online I had to call because there was no option to add a contact lens exam and it took me a really long time to get through on the phone to fix my appointment. I got through to a call center that kept telling me that the place was by BJ's bakery. It is nowhere near BJ's! I just don't think it should be this difficult to get an eye exam and to pick up your prescription. My initial eye appointment took almost 2 hours! Between being on hold, trying to get through on the website, trying to call repeatedly, waiting during my initial exam, waiting during my fitting a week later and then waiting to pick up my contact lenses was probably a total of six hours or more which is outrageous. Not going back there!

You just get sent into an endless circle with a chatbot and then you get a message that you are calling after hours. Even when the store is open.
