Phil AJ and Lisa answered every question fitted and sold me a pair of frames that was perfect. They really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, happy and well satisfied. Lenscrafters had me come in to make sure that what I said was indeed happening. I went in, almost a 1 hour trip. Yes, confirmed. Ordered new lenses. Great. Waited for them and went back as soon as they let me know the lenses arrived. They were the wrong prescription in the lenses! At this point I would have given a 1 star. However, I wanted to wait to see how this all ended. A new pair of glasses was ordered, complete new pair, and that was very amenable to me. When my glasses came in, they were going to UPS me the new pair, overnight service. So, my glasses came in and a note was left for the person, Kevin, to take them to the carrier. The carrier was NOT specified on the note! So he took them to USPS and called me to let me know. It was all I could do to not get angry. I went over it with Kevin that UPS will get them to me the next day...USPS will get them to me?, who knows! Kevin went to USPS and got the glasses that he mailed back! Then, someone else drove an almost 1 hour trip, one way, to bring me my glasses!! I didn't expect that! That went above and beyond what could have been expected! So, I make the appointment to get my exam and glasses and upon arrival the first person I encounter is Chris - the owner. From the minute I met him I knew I was in good hands. He was very friendly and treated me respectfully and it was obvious he appreciated my business. He was not being governed by some franchise pressures to meet sales quotas and up sell. Chris was genuinely interested in me, as a person. So much so that there would have been a small balance over and above what my insurance would allow and Chris just said "forget it" and only charged me the insurance reimbursement amount. How many places would have turned down the opportunity to make addition money - regardless of how small that amount might have been? In short, Chris is a star. His pricing is very competitive. He delivered my glasses exactly when he said he would. He is an honest, reliable, businessman and he is the only one I will purchases glasses from when I need them again. his staff is also wonderful. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Go to another eye doctor. I waited 5 weeks for the appointment, but when I…read morearrived it wasn't in the system (that day or any day), even though all my background information was correct. So clearly someone forgot to hit the save button when we scheduled the exam. This appointment was an hour drive in heavy rain. While I waited for the receptionist to continue starring at her computer, I got to read the many printed notices to patients that were taped around the office. These notices were obnoxious to say the least. Including a large note saying that if you dared to be cranky they would add a $50 fee to your bill as a fine for bad behavior. When I pointed out that this seemed less than professional I was told in a terse tone of voice that it was joke, that most people "got it", and "... if you had to deal with the people that I have to deal with all day long then you would get it too." This complete lack of professionalism might be okay in a dive bar, but I find it unacceptable in a medical environment where the office is interacting with patients. This is an office that deserves a zero rating.

I've been going to Casey Vision for over 30 years and have always had a great experience with the…read moredoctors. They're knowledgeable, kind, and provide excellent care. Unfortunately, what has consistently taken away from that experience over the years is the front office staff--specifically, Joanne. Joanne has a long history of being dismissive, unhelpful, and at times, openly rude. Years ago, she refused to release my prescription for a snorkeling mask until I spoke to the doctor, which felt unnecessarily difficult. Last year, when I got glasses from their office, no one explained they were progressives--and when I had trouble adjusting, the process to fix it took multiple visits. There was no guidance or accountability on her part. Most recently, as I waited for my appointment, she loudly said to another staff member, "There's the girl who was a problem." I hadn't even spoken yet. When I asked to set up a time to look at frames, she said there was nothing available, despite it being well before closing. It was very clear I was being intentionally pushed away. What really stood out was how familiar this behavior seems to be. When I casually mentioned my experience to a coworker, my boss overheard and said, without hesitation, "That sounds like Joanne from Casey Vision--that's why I don't go there anymore." I've also noticed several other reviews here mentioning her by name, which unfortunately lines up with what I experienced. The doctors are great, but Joanne makes the overall environment uncomfortable. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously, because no matter how good the care is, the experience at the front desk sets the tone--and she's driving patients away.

Grrrr I ended up waiting for about a half hour and it took her all of two minutes to get my purchase. She asked for my phone number because I should've gotten a text when they came in. Yup, it was correct. So no text, when you call you won't get through and they can't multitask. I don't even think they have a phone there because I was still on hold when I walked into the place. No phone beeping or ringing. Oh, and their optometrists are all virtual. They don't tell you that prior to the appointment. It was different but they are pretty thorough in their exams. I gotta give them that. That is if their equipment is working properly and they don't have to redo the test as they had to do with me at least twice. When I initially made my appointment online I had to call because there was no option to add a contact lens exam and it took me a really long time to get through on the phone to fix my appointment. I got through to a call center that kept telling me that the place was by BJ's bakery. It is nowhere near BJ's! I just don't think it should be this difficult to get an eye exam and to pick up your prescription. My initial eye appointment took almost 2 hours! Between being on hold, trying to get through on the website, trying to call repeatedly, waiting during my initial exam, waiting during my fitting a week later and then waiting to pick up my contact lenses was probably a total of six hours or more which is outrageous. Not going back there!

You just get sent into an endless circle with a chatbot and then you get a message that you are calling after hours. Even when the store is open. The only way to talk to someone is to go to the store in person. You can't even email or leave a message.
