My pair of glasses were mixed up - wrong lenses in incorrect frames. LensCrafters noticed the problem and agreed to fix it for me. They also provided me with a partial refund because of their mistake. I never asked for it. They offered. It's nice when a large company shows that it cares about individual customers. After wearing the glasses for a week, I decided my frames weren't going to work out. Once again, they were awesome to deal with. I worked with 3 different salespeople and each of them offered the same great level of customer service. I will definitely be back.

Honestly, I chose CJ Sabatini because of their proximity to where I live. I very much like to support local business. So, I make the appointment to get my exam and glasses and upon arrival the first person I encounter is Chris - the owner. From the minute I met him I knew I was in good hands. He was very friendly and treated me respectfully and it was obvious he appreciated my business. He was not being governed by some franchise pressures to meet sales quotas and up sell. Chris was genuinely interested in me, as a person. So much so that there would have been a small balance over and above what my insurance would allow and Chris just said "forget it" and only charged me the insurance reimbursement amount. How many places would have turned down the opportunity to make addition money - regardless of how small that amount might have been? In short, Chris is a star. His pricing is very competitive. He delivered my glasses exactly when he said he would. He is an honest, reliable, businessman and he is the only one I will purchases glasses from when I need them again. his staff is also wonderful. I waited 5 weeks for the appointment, but when I…read morearrived it wasn't in the system (that day or any day), even though all my background information was correct. So clearly someone forgot to hit the save button when we scheduled the exam. This appointment was an hour drive in heavy rain. While I waited for the receptionist to continue starring at her computer, I got to read the many printed notices to patients that were taped around the office. These notices were obnoxious to say the least. Including a large note saying that if you dared to be cranky they would add a $50 fee to your bill as a fine for bad behavior. When I pointed out that this seemed less than professional I was told in a terse tone of voice that it was joke, that most people "got it", and "... if you had to deal with the people that I have to deal with all day long then you would get it too." This complete lack of professionalism might be okay in a dive bar, but I find it unacceptable in a medical environment where the office is interacting with patients. This is an office that deserves a zero rating.

Wouldn't you know it, my eyes changed dramatically in less than 3 months and my old sunnglasses are no good anymore. So I took my new prescription into Boscov's Optical in January - same young man as sales person - too see what they could do for me....because of the waarranty, he was able to replace the lenses in the sunglasses within 2 weeks for....drumroll...$32! I've been going to Casey Vision for over 30 years and have always had a great experience with the…read moredoctors. They're knowledgeable, kind, and provide excellent care. Unfortunately, what has consistently taken away from that experience over the years is the front office staff--specifically, Joanne. Joanne has a long history of being dismissive, unhelpful, and at times, openly rude. Years ago, she refused to release my prescription for a snorkeling mask until I spoke to the doctor, which felt unnecessarily difficult. Last year, when I got glasses from their office, no one explained they were progressives--and when I had trouble adjusting, the process to fix it took multiple visits. There was no guidance or accountability on her part. Most recently, as I waited for my appointment, she loudly said to another staff member, "There's the girl who was a problem." I hadn't even spoken yet. When I asked to set up a time to look at frames, she said there was nothing available, despite it being well before closing. It was very clear I was being intentionally pushed away. What really stood out was how familiar this behavior seems to be. When I casually mentioned my experience to a coworker, my boss overheard and said, without hesitation, "That sounds like Joanne from Casey Vision--that's why I don't go there anymore." I've also noticed several other reviews here mentioning her by name, which unfortunately lines up with what I experienced. The doctors are great, but Joanne makes the overall environment uncomfortable. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously, because no matter how good the care is, the experience at the front desk sets the tone--and she's driving patients away.
