Grub we found in our food.

I'd rate this a -5 stars. We ordered from Wanfu 3 tonight and my wife found a huge grub in her food. Horrible.

We enjoyed the General Tso's chicken, a cup of very tasty wonton soup and some very good crab Rangoon, and have enough Tso's left over another meal. We enjoyed visiting with the hostess and owner...very friendly and passionate about their food. We will be back for more goodies.

Thank you Wanfu for being open on Christmas Eve! Last night I ordered Wanfu because we had a terrible incident with Randall's having worms in their potatoes and it ruined our 2020 Christmas Eve dinner. We were able to order wanfu in the nick of time and they got here before midnight with our dinner! We will forever be grateful and always remember this as the Christmas Story Christmas! My fiance and I are so happy thank you guys so much for being so wonderful and delivering on Christmas Eve we will always remember this as such a magical wonderful Christmas!! I am actually reheating the dinner for a second-round today and the food is still delicious! We got the chicken lo mein and General Tso's chicken with chicken fried rice! Thanks again and happy holidays!!

Ok. Too busy talking and didn't get pictures but trust me the food is good. We were a party of 12…read moreand they were able to accommodate us. We ordered the cheese roll, pork bely, khon wings, brussel sprouts, fried tofu, pad see ew, Massaman curry, roti, pandang beef, moo ping, tum tad, crab fried rice, pineapple fried rice and all of it was amazing. Found this place as it was a recommendation from someone who was in the Thai restaurant business and came highly recommended. I am definitely going back but would love it if the owners would consider opening a place in the Lakeway area.

I ordered over the phone, which was an easy and quick process. They said it would be ready in 20…read moremin and it was. The restaurant itself has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar. It seems like a nice place to have a meal. As for the food, we ordered: Pad thai with chicken, mild spice - unfortunately this was a bit dry for me, though the taste was good. Pad see ew with chicken - I liked their version and would probably get it again. Pad woon sen with pork - typically my favorite noodle dish and I think they did a good job. Garden roll - good but not as packed as others I've had, and at a higher price point. Pineapple fried rice with pork - I liked this but was a bit on the oily side. Tom kha soup - I thought this was very good and had a decent amount of chicken and mushrooms Overall I liked everything but some items I felt I had better versions of elsewhere. It's also on the pricier side. Still, if in central Austin I think it's a solid choice for Thai food.

Basil fried rice is delish, with a good amount of heat. Soft spring rolls are good, glad it is just…read morea slim sliver of tofu...not a big chunk! Delivery gentlemen was nice. Negatives: - no silverware given (delivering to a hotel....hmmm shouldn't it be included ) - asked for an extra peanut sauce, not provided - description of vegetables in the fried rice would be helpful! I wouldn't have paid for extra veggies, just to get extra onions and green/red peppers. Disclaimer: did ask for no mushrooms & no eggplant, didn't know what was included. - shouldn't be required to pick a protein for dishes! I am not a fan of tofu...had to select (since vegan) and it was big chunks )....so picked them out.

I got level 3 spice which definitely had a kick, and it also came with a platter of pickled greens, fresh red onions, a slice of lime, and chili oil. The soup itself was really creamy and good, with a slight Malaysian curry flavor. The noodles themselves were thin egg noodles that were slightly soggy but it also came topped with fried crunchy noodles, which provided the crisp. The spice paired well with a creamy Thai iced tea! The service was super quick and everyone was so friendly. Definitely recommend it if you're in downtown Austin!

Loved the food truck so really wanted to check out the Brick and Mortar! Came on a Sunday to try…read moreout some delicious thai food with my thai food bestie! Ambience: Dark and moody with plenty of seating and a partial viewing of the kitchen. Service: the waitress was super prompt and also gave a lot of explanation about items on the menu in case we weren't familiar with the dish. Food: The food is probably some of the best thai food in Austin. We ordered the papaya salad which came out more in like a "thin flat noodle fashion" than what we are normally used to, it's not super spicy like most thai restuarants like to serve it but still has some robust flavors and some spice it also comes with cracklings which are super crunchy. The chinese broccolli is always a favorite of mine for the texture and the Pork Ribs dish was super creamy with a hint of spice that left you craving more. The menu is so large that we will definetly be back, i'd recommend going close to open as it's not as crowded!

My friend and I decided to check this place out since we've heard many good things about Kiin Di…read moreeven from days it was a food truck. We got the: * Roti Dip * Soft shell crab in curry * Papaya salad I loved the roti, it was crispy and the curry was flavorful, a bit salty but they paired well. The biggest miss for me was the soft shell crab in curry, the plate came out room temp which was a bit disappointing since curry is best served warm/hot. The batter on the crab was super thick it felt like we were just eating deep fried crab that got soggy quickly as it's served in the curry. The curry had some separation almost as if the coconut milk in it had been reheated or curdled during the cooking process. I'm not an expert chef but I've worked with coconut milk enough to notice these things. The papaya salad was decent, I loved the tangy and fresh flavors (we opted for 3 spice but definitely could've amped it up). I prefer my papaya salad with more "funk" but understand that's a different style. I am sad I had to give this place only 3 stars because my expectations were high considering this is their brick & mortar. I will have to give it a try again and taste other dishes. Overall the service was friendly, got sat immediately and didn't have to wait too long for the food to come out. More parking in the back of the restaurant, be weary of the signs from other businesses.
