This place was really good! I'm really impressed will definitely be ordering again! I got chicken with rice and the pork rolls were great.

Pork sausage vermicelli bowl - excellent and unique

Tried this place on a whim and so glad we did. The pork that was part of the meals with some of the best I have had. The crispy eggroll was also different from the norm and very flavorful. The next time I will get the vermicelli bowl with the pork and the eggrolls. Even their fish sauce that came with the vermicelli bowl was plentiful and delicious. Their noodles were silky and everything was balanced very well. For our younger child who doesn't typically like Vietnamese food, we got the steamed dumplings and what I can describe as a barbecue pork taco but that's not what it's called on the menu. It was $4.99 and I think it was perfect. He really enjoyed it. Our older child ordered his typical vermicelli bowl, but this time he got the pork sausage because he never seen that before. It was very unique and delicious as well. I've never had Vietnamese sausage that tasted like this and really enjoyed it. It was large and tender, and not greasy. I still think the traditional grilled pork was the best, but all of the meats were great. I highly recommend you trying their food. One thing to note that it's in one of those buildings that has like six or seven restaurants and the ordering is a little weird on tablets, but we just ordered through the yelp app and picked up. Looking forward to trying it again! If you find my photos or review helpful, please like them!

Got the chicken broken rice plate. Not bad at all and it hit the spot. The dark meat chicken was moist. The sauce has a little more fish sauce forward than other places; I kind of liked it as I'm used to South East Asian tastes. I also got a winter melon tea. If you haven't had winter melon tea before think of a light caramel flavor that's refreshing. It's all ghost kitchen so you'll find them on the delivery apps.

After exercising with a friend of mine and we decided to try Nancy's Kitchen from doing a Yelp search. It was rated 5 stars so off we go! We thought of having a cocktail in the restaurant and catching up. Well, we were surprised to learn that Nancy's Kitchen is not a free standing restaurant but one of several restaurants housed in the same building. Also, no cocktails were served at Nancy's Kitchen. There were a few tables for eating your meals, however, for the most part people were getting their meals to go. We ordered from the kiosk and awaited our meals...estimated at 19 minutes. The building's restroom was broken so we went to a nearby hotel to use the restroom. Needless to say, this dining experience was not turning out as expected. Then our meal came in a paper bag. We set down to eat. OMG...OMG...OMG my vermicelli bowl was super delicious. The chicken was super flavorable and tender and the vermicelli was the best I've ever eaten. I ate everything from my container. Nancy's Kitchen is high recommend!!!

For a ghost kitchen it was nearly perfect! I had a pick-up order of the house special vermicelli they used grilled dark meat chicken and pork. The presentation was wonderful to see, unfortunately the container trapped the heat and steamed the egg roll losing its lightly crunchy texture - so it was soggy but still good. I also feel the steam took away the char on the meats and lost some of its flavor. I loved they weren't afraid to use mint with their salad which gives it a fresh taste and they added fried shallots on top of the meat and noodles which made it even better and more authentic to me. It is overpriced and filling at approx $18 a plate. The down side was the nuoc cham that came with it. I'm expecting a savory, sweet, and salty pungent fish sauce mix and got watered down sugar water with a splash of fish sauce - so that was disappointing.

I have been looking for a good Vietnamese sandwich here in Austin for months !!!! I can finally say I found it ! Extremely Recommend this place !!!

Food is great! The meat is flavorful and fresh. Tried a lot of Vietnamese food around Austin, so far this is the best when it comes to authentic taste. Added on rib appetizer to the order. It was done nicely. Best decision ever haha Only take out food. I love that they open late.

Probably the best Asian food in Austin. Foods and drinks were great. Quick and easy to order food and picking up from a ghost kitchen

I had my boyfriend pick up the food and he forgot to check for the hoisin sauce. I can't eat pho without it, so I called the store and was told it was offered but that he must not have heard the employee asking. I tried to eat the pho anyway, and it ended up being one of the worst bowls of pho I've ever had. I'm Vietnamese, so I know what good pho should taste like. The broth was extremely bland and watered down, with no aroma or real pho flavor. Without hoisin sauce it was even worse. I tried adding seasoning to make it taste decent but nothing helped. The noodles were also hard and clumped together in one big chunk. I had to microwave them for about three minutes just to get them to separate. In the end, I gave up and threw away our 2 -$18 bowl of pho. The broth tasted worse than instant pho. Very disappointing. I should have known better than to order pho downtown.

The color wasn't too light, so I appreciated that they didn't go heavy on the condensed milk. Summer Rolls/Nem Nuong Cuon ($11): These were underwhelming, pretty bland without the peanut sauce, which I thought was just okay as well. OG Banh Mi ($14): Delicious! It was one of our top two banh mi here, along with the lamb one. The bread was nicely toasted, the pâté came through, and all the flavors were on point. Garlic Butter Prawn Bún ($18): The shrimp were perfectly cooked, though the garlic butter flavor wasn't very strong. The vermicelli and veggies were so fresh and tasty together with the nuoc mam that I was able to eat the leftovers without any protein. Curry Ramen ($16): This was our first time trying curry ramen, so we didn't know what to expect. You got to choose your protein, so we went with chashu. The curry had flavors similar to oc len xa dua and was pretty good, and the ramen itself had a great texture. I still prefer regular ramen but would still recommend trying this at least once.

But it also has egg and scallions and pate; overall the combo is satisfying. Separate from takeout, we decided to go for an early dinner. Their Crab Vermicelli Stir Fry is surprisingly sweet, with sweetness as a prominent flavor. It features plenty of crab bits. I also grabbed a Skillet Combo. It came with two runny side up eggs, pate, two types of cured pork, beef gravy, and a handful of cilantro. The baguette came on the side, as did the mixed salad of lettuce and tomato. The salad had some dried shrimp, fish sauce, and a slightly sweet dressing. The restaurant itself is located in the Chinatown Center on N Lamar. It's a small corner shop. Lots of mirrors and glass. The staff are friendly enough. Unfortunately, they've closed, and it looks like another restaurant will be opening up in its place. The situation leaves me unsure about where to go to satisfy savory sticky rice cravings.

The flavor was on the slightly bland or mild side (very subjective, and I ddin't add extra sauce), but I appreciated that it didn't seem to have MSG. Unlike some pho places where I usually feel thirsty afterward, this felt lighter, which was a big plus. Overall, it was a decent experience. This place is legit when you see that it is full of local Viet on a Sunday afternoon!…read more The menu is pretty good with authentic Vietnamese food but we normally come here for the S1 Ribeye Hot Stone Pho. They bring out the meat and noodles separately and then the soup in the stone bowl. This time the asked me if I wanted all the greens-- lime wedges, basil leaves, jalapeño slices and bean sprouts. I never eat the bean spouts but use everything else and it always seems a waste of bean sprouts when I don't use them so I was thankful to have them hold the bean sprouts. Be careful as the soup is extremely hot and the hot stone bowl keeps it that way for a while. You fill the bowl to the brim after adding all the meats and noodles. My only complaint is the noodles. They are fresh and just the right texture... very good! But for some reason the always seem to get cut up after I put them into the bowl. Not sure if they cut them before hand but they end up cut short when put them in the bowI. I prefer long slurpy noodles over cut noodles that's hard to pick up with chopsticks. Overall I still give it 5 stars and this one of the two best pho spots in the greater Austin area
