Everything was delish! Love the restaurant concept. Got to sit outside to eat and enjoy the evening

Pork sausage vermicelli bowl - excellent and unique
    Lyla A.

Tried this place on a whim and so glad we did. The pork that was part of the meals with some of the best I have had. The crispy eggroll was also different from the norm and very flavorful. The next time I will get the vermicelli bowl with the pork and the eggrolls. Even their fish sauce that came with the vermicelli bowl was plentiful and delicious. Their noodles were silky and everything was balanced very well. For our younger child who doesn't typically like Vietnamese food, we got the steamed dumplings and what I can describe as a barbecue pork taco but that's not what it's called on the menu. It was $4.99 and I think it was perfect. He really enjoyed it. Our older child ordered his typical vermicelli bowl, but this time he got the pork sausage because he never seen that before. It was very unique and delicious as well. I've never had Vietnamese sausage that tasted like this and really enjoyed it. It was large and tender, and not greasy. I still think the traditional grilled pork was the best, but all of the meats were great. I highly recommend you trying their food. One thing to note that it's in one of those buildings that has like six or seven restaurants and the ordering is a little weird on tablets, but we just ordered through the yelp app and picked up. Looking forward to trying it again! If you find my photos or review helpful, please like them!

This place was really good! I'm really impressed will definitely be ordering again! I got chicken with rice and the pork rolls were great.

Got the chicken broken rice plate. Not bad at all and it hit the spot. The dark meat chicken was moist. The sauce has a little more fish sauce forward than other places; I kind of liked it as I'm used to South East Asian tastes. I also got a winter melon tea. If you haven't had winter melon tea before think of a light caramel flavor that's refreshing. It's all ghost kitchen so you'll find them on the delivery apps.

After exercising with a friend of mine and we decided to try Nancy's Kitchen from doing a Yelp search. It was rated 5 stars so off we go! We thought of having a cocktail in the restaurant and catching up. Well, we were surprised to learn that Nancy's Kitchen is not a free standing restaurant but one of several restaurants housed in the same building. Also, no cocktails were served at Nancy's Kitchen. There were a few tables for eating your meals, however, for the most part people were getting their meals to go. We ordered from the kiosk and awaited our meals...estimated at 19 minutes. The building's restroom was broken so we went to a nearby hotel to use the restroom. Needless to say, this dining experience was not turning out as expected. Then our meal came in a paper bag. We set down to eat. OMG...OMG...OMG my vermicelli bowl was super delicious. The chicken was super flavorable and tender and the vermicelli was the best I've ever eaten. I ate everything from my container. Nancy's Kitchen is high recommend!!!

So I ordered through DD so I can't speak on the customer service; but honey!!! Im addicted to their Brussels sprouts!!!! The ribs have an incredible flavor and the grilled pork sandwich is delicious!!!

For a ghost kitchen it was nearly perfect! I had a pick-up order of the house special vermicelli they used grilled dark meat chicken and pork. The presentation was wonderful to see, unfortunately the container trapped the heat and steamed the egg roll losing its lightly crunchy texture - so it was soggy but still good. I also feel the steam took away the char on the meats and lost some of its flavor. I loved they weren't afraid to use mint with their salad which gives it a fresh taste and they added fried shallots on top of the meat and noodles which made it even better and more authentic to me. It is overpriced and filling at approx $18 a plate. The down side was the nuoc cham that came with it. I'm expecting a savory, sweet, and salty pungent fish sauce mix and got watered down sugar water with a splash of fish sauce - so that was disappointing.

I have been looking for a good Vietnamese sandwich here in Austin for months !!!! I can finally say I found it ! Extremely Recommend this place !!!

Food is great! The meat is flavorful and fresh. Tried a lot of Vietnamese food around Austin, so far this is the best when it comes to authentic taste. Added on rib appetizer to the order. It was done nicely. Best decision ever haha Only take out food. I love that they open late.

I returned last Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday) for lunch to see if my good experience was an anomaly or a pattern. The good news is, Wingzup is consistently excellent. I would be remiss if I did not recognize the service at this restaurant. Wingzup sits in the casual market segment for restaurants, but their customer service is on par with fine dining. Stephanie and Vicki helped me out this time and provided my wife and me with wonderful service. This service was in spite of the restaurant cooking over 5,000 wings for takeout for the big game. It was a constant flow of people picking up orders from a few dozen to a few hundred wings. Despite these drop in guests nobody in the dining room ever waited for anything. I was encouraged to try their grilled wings after my Google review. Customers said they are so good...and they did not lie. I got mine naked and got four sauces to dip them in, plus blue cheese. I loved the Sweet Chili and the Habanero Ranch the first time and got them again. Also the medium Buffalo. Stephanie suggested the Mango Habanero and it was on point. One of the best wing spots in the city! Try the pickle chips and the New York Putines. The Jalapeño Poppers are also great.

Our server was a very nice woman who was on top of our table. We got beers (because: wings) and the fried buffalo wings with the korean fried wings. The buffalo ones were not crispy enough, so that was a bummer, but still, fine. We loved the korean fried ones, but they were more just like mini fried chickens as opposed to the traditional korean version (also, we did not appreciate the sticky sauce that it came out with). Our daughter was happy with her chicken nuggets. The only major party foul was the fact that our waffle fries came out cold, so we asked for new ones, and those were definitely not in the fryer long enough and they were scorching. Basically, we got what we were expecting when we came here. So, hope still springs eternal in the world of wings. Three stars, same same.

The garlic was very balanced and not overwhelming, and they were super generous with the amount of Parmesan. The chicken wings were also equally amazing with a super crunchy, light batter, well seasoned chicken and the sauces were delectable. I really liked the honey garlic Parmesan because it is unique and not something I've had before. The sweet soy was also nicely balanced and paired well with the wings. The Ruma's chicken crispy pops was good, but I wish the pieces of chicken were slightly bigger so that the ratio of batter to chicken would be less overwhelming. The sauce was more sweet than spicy and it would have been better if they added a Mala spice component. My diagnosis: come here for exceptional Korean wings and craveable garlic fries

So, when we proceeded to order that way, she got all flustered and was like, no, no, no you can't do that! Other than the above complaints, we actually really liked this place. The vibe is chill and, as aforementioned, we enjoyed most of the food. The dumplings are 100% not homemade, but they toss them in a decent sauce so they can be more palatable (we would skip those). The fries are nice and crispy, and the brussels sprouts are excellent. So, so good, and a decent amount as well. The radishes are the typical ones you get at these joints, and they are a must. As for the main star, the chicken, it was as it should be: with shattering layers of breading and hot meat on the inside. The coating was almost a bit too thick, though. We liked the soy garlic sauce and just wished there was some actual Korean aspect to the buffalo. Prices were consistent with portions, and they do have respectable beers on draft. We have some quibbles, yes, so it's 3 stars for now, but we'll definitely be back because it's close to home and will hopefully have a more overall impressive experience next time.

It hits every time. The mayonnaise, the pickles, the perfectly crisp chicken: you can't miss it. As a side, I ALWAYS without fail get their Tater Tots. Spicy Boys is one of those places that is always there for you. They are consistently open and the people making the orders are putting a ton of dedication into making them smack every time.
