So, my dad is handicap he can't walk.... we waited inside for those handicap gocarts.. so after waiting for almost 30min we were able to get my dad in the little cart so he can move on his own.. but that cart did not work.. it had some mechanical issue... so it would drive but it would stop for like 10 to 20 min.. it was so frustrating... we ask different employees to help.. unfortunately they all said the same thing.. "Oh I'm sorry, but that cart has a mechanical issue" but my question is why in the heck do they have a cart that is bringing problems and have it available for costumers? I go to register whatever number with my 17 year old sister and I am 21 - we are paying separately and I have a bottle of barefoot Merlot - ready to pay for my 3 items my sister went before me and the cashier (don't kno her name or care) said to see my sisters ID even tho we are paying separately and I won't even be drinking that nasty ass bottle of wine - it's for my mother - so I'm salty and fuck this Walmart and I will no longer come here on some real shit cuz this cashier is new as fuck and I've done the same shit In the past and came out the store with more than one bottle of wine and hard liquor - so needless to say I'm pissed the fuck off and I will come back here again! read more

I don't even want to rate this experience. Knowing that the beginning of the month has numerous customers using money services, you would think management would be smart enough to put more than one person on the register. I am currently in the line which Ofcourse is long to the point it is long next to the self check-out. Don't bother coming here, on top of this ridiculously long line they're debit machines don't work! Why the heck wouldn't it work if mostly everything is technologically based. To the point where I have to call my bank and verify that my card is working, after I deposited over 2000.00 cash! Thankfully the young lady said she will keep my items and ring me up to a different register, which Ofcourse it worked! Point being, have more people working in the money services knowing the first of the month will have a large group of people, plus close down registers if you know the debit machine doesn't work! read more

I shop at Walmart about 5 times a year. The items are basic. I find the customers in the store, as well as the staff helpful and friendly. This isn't Macy's or an anchor store on Fashion Island--show a little mercy when you post a reviews people. If the stow is short-staffed it's no the employee's fault. read more

My daughter purchased a bottle of shampoo on accident, she meant to buy conditioner. Because she only purchased perishables (toilet paper, soap, food items, etc) she didn't keep the receipt. A few days later, we made a trip to the same Wal-Mart and the lady at the service desk wouldn't allow her to exchange the shampoo for conditioner because she didn't have the receipt. Now mind you, this is a $5 bottle of shampoo and my daughter was not asking for her money back. Simply an exchange for conditioner. According to this lady at the service desk, this is their new policy. I asked to speak to manager and I was told the store manager was not there but she would call an assistant manager. We waited for over 10 mins and no manager came and the lady had left the service and didn't come back either. Extremely poor service. read more

Kill me, kill me, kill me, kill me. I hate Wal Mart and ordinarily do not shop here because I have a fundamental moral issue with their labor practices by not offering full time work and benefits to their employees. Having said that, I HAD to go here because my husband's work shirts are only available here. The last time I bought my hubby work shirts was 2 years ago....at Wal Mart and hadn't been back until now. That is how often I go, I buy enough shirts for him so I NEVER have to enter the hell hole pit of slime and filth that is Wal Mart. So, I ask for the location of the shirts from a rather nice...but clueless sales person who looks at me as if I am speaking in tongues...finally after many games of charades she understands what I am looking for....I get the damn shirts and I realize hey, I have two photos with me that are hard copies that I want to make copies of....so I go to the photo center to the handy Kodak machines....both are being used...by one party who is seriously scanning 300 pics into the f*&%ing machine.....now, I am vocal...and I have two pics...literally two pics so I open my pie hole and say something to them...like must we use both to cut down your time and inconvenience the line of 5 other people waiting to use the machine. Well, the lady scanning her life history into the machine explains that granny passed away and they are scanning the pics onto a a CD for the funeral am I the asshole or what? So, feeling an inch tall, I promptly leave the photo center and slink away to check out where there is one line open...with 76 people in it...so I go to the self check out place. Suddenly, while scanning the 10 work shirts I bought for my hubby I am surrounded by security and they all but accuse me of bagging a shirt with out scanning it...they review my scans and realize they messed up and all the shirts scanned....now, again being the mouthy person I am.....and being already annoyed with this place I laugh and say....they can wipe their ass with the $ 5.50 tee shirt because if I have to steal a shirt, I am not going to go to jail for a $ 5.50 piece of shit Chinese made Fruit of the Loom tee shirt. I digress Parking sucks, solicitors swamp you at the door. The clientele and the staff are less than desirable....it smells like piss.....dirty diaper and that shitty Curve cologne. When I got my battery from Walmart no one said no receipt no replacement after all it says on the battery Walmart and the date of purchase. All the signs say 36 month replacement on car battery's sign says nothing about needing a receipt. Jumped my car took it in they checked the battery and it needed replacing hadn't been 3 years. They looked it up in the computer and it did in fact come from that store ....but here comes the crapola....the manufacturer requires the original receipt. Even with me supplying my credit card bill showing I purchased it they won't replace it as advertised. . I must say the two employees that helped me were polite and doing all they could to help but why can't they ever find a manager that can make a decision? This Walmart is bottom of the barrel, even by Walmart standards. Each visit to this store is a hassle. I get the sense that many of the employees of this Walmart consider customers to be an inconvenience. On my last visit, I needed to "drop in" for a car battery. Although a simply premise, Upland Walmart managed to drag the process out to a 45-minute debacle. I found the battery quickly and efficiently. Then I went to the register at the Auto Center. I was told that the register was not working properly, and told to go to the nearby register in the gun department. Apparently several other customers had been told the same thing. No problem. I can wait. Each customer had a relatively simple need, but for some reason the young man behind the counter was unable to rise to the challenge. He kept rolling his eyes, and calling in back-up. After 20 minutes in this line (and no progress), I decided to try other departments. This is the equivalent to switching lanes on the freeway when it seems like your lane is the only one not moving. This was a fruitless effort. Eventually I found my way back to the same register, and the same group of customers. We were saved when the original register began working again. I took my old, nasty battery and the new one to the register, where I was asked (I am not making this up), "so, you want to purchase this battery (the brand new one), and turn in this one (the corroded, greasy one)?" I nodded yes. When I returned to my car, 45 minutes later, I was slightly perturbed. I will not shop at this Walmart again. It is not worth the time, energy and frustration to save a few bucks. read more

Do not use moneygram! I wish I could give less stars. I ended up stranded with my child hundreds of miles from home because they sent me to several locations (on my dime) just to tell me that their "providers" get to choose when they participate so noone would help me because they had all decided to close early. Couldn't give me a refund until it was convenient for them so I was stranded overnight with no gas or money and a 10 month old infant sleeping in the backseat of my car. Disgusting company. One star is far too generous but I wanted to write a review so I guess they get a star out of me... So I needed a few items for the home and decided to make a *quick* trip to retrieve some cleaning products. I planned to spend about 15 minutes in the store but in hindsight I should have set aside a few hours to rummage through the mess. This place was a zoo. If you manage to make it to a parking space without getting run over or killed you will discover a prime example of how not to manage a store. Before you get inside the doors you will be asked to sign something, give money to someone, or buy something from the crowd outside. Once you make it through the door and inside the store you will discover screaming children everywhere accompanied by adults who could care less. The shelves are in shambles because staffing levels seemed to be extra low. Good luck finding an employee to help you find whatever it is you are looking for because they seem to be in some part of the store where you can't find them or ask for help from them. If you manage to find an item and want to purchase the item you might want to bring a book along for the line because it will take nearly 10 times as long to check out as it takes to find the item in the first place among the clutter. For such a large store having only a hand full of registers operating seems ridiculous. I waited longer to buy 5 items at this store than I did to ride on Space Mountain at Disneyland. read more

Went to Walmart to buy a replacement watch band from the jewelry department. I have been going here for over 18 yrs because Walmart will not only sell the band but will also install it at no extra charge. No one was at the counter and no one responded to the buzzer that I pressed several times. I walked over to the dressing room and told them I needed a watch band replaced - could they call someone to assist me. Well, the only person who could replace the band was at lunch for 15 minutes more. So I said I would wait. 25 minutes later, I was again pressing the buzzer for assistance but this time the girl from the dressing room came over and said she would call the jewelry girl over for me. When the jewelry clerk arrived she informed me that Walmart does not replace the band for customers and basically I could talk to Management if I needed to. I decided I would! The manager listened to the jewelry clerk who claimed that another girl was "couched" for changing a watch band for a different customer. The Manager offered to look up the "policy" for me but said that I could also call 1-800-WALMART as there was no one else at the store over her. I asked her to look it up for me. Well, she couldn't find the "policy" and ended up calling her Manager and asking if it was a Corporate Policy. Hey, I thought there was no one over you at the store! Well, she actually "didn't know" that this other Manager was there. What? Bottom line - jewelry clerk didn't want to do it although her Manager did ask her if she could do it for me. I don't hate Walmart. I have shopped there for years. But really, Target is a much more pleasant experience and very competitively priced. I did call 1-800-WALMART and they actually have a "store experience" category - but of course, they were closed and no option for leaving a message. Don't waste your time with "Curbside Pickup" here. When you drive to the designated area for pickup, the sign says to call (909) 297-6349. Instead of reaching "Curbside Pickup" or even a Walmart employee, you hear a message that says, "I'm sorry the person you called has a Voicemail Box that has not been set up yet. Good-bye." Then it hangs up on you. How rude! Then I tried calling the store's main number (909) 920-4021, and selected "Pickup." But the phone just rang and rang and rang. Never any answer. Then I called the store's main number again and selected "0" to speak to an employee. Again, the phone rang and rang and rang. No answer. No way to speak to anyone at the store or even leave a message. Nothing. I called Walmart's main Customer Service and filed a Complaint. A telephone number for Curbside Pickup should work. And maybe they will correct the "Curbside Pickup" number posted in their designated pickup area. After all this, my husband was forced to go into the store and pick up the items himself. When he finally found the Pickup location in the store, the order was not ready. Bad experience. Bad store! Bad management! Terrible Customer Service!!!!!! read more

Is it just me or has walmarts customer service just gone down the drain these past few years? The saying is you get what you pay for, so.... I guess I should choose my words accordingly. The staff at this location conducts business so poorly that I can safely assume they are being paid shit. HOWEVER.... If they want to complain and whine for better pay they have to earn it! Greet customers in a friendly way. Show honesty and respect when talking to customers and don't tell lies just to try to make a sale. I went for an oil change and was friendly and clear that if it was going to be more than an hour and half, I would return later, no worries. I asked for the worst case time and was assured that no more than an hour. I agreed to leave my SUV walked around Walmart for an hour then returned to check on the progress. My suv was in the exact place, windows down and keys In the ignition. One worker was on the opposite side performing work on another car and told me the guy working on my car left to lunch. My SUV could've been stolen and the one worker that was there would've never known. I left and will be calling management. Some readers will ignore my post and use walmarts services anyways, that's fine. Just don't be surprised when something goes wrong. Do NOT go here for auto repair. They do NOT do custom wheels not even for a tire rotation. So I bought my tires here 2 years ago and bought the warranty so they can rotate tires free of charge, but here in Upland they do not honor it cause I did not buy them here. Funny, they honor it at other places. If they didnt want to do it in the first place then tell me you dont want to do it, I dont need 10 reasons why you cant do it. All I came in for was an oil change and a tire rotation. Im sorry it was raining but you are partially indoors to do your work. What a big disappointment. I've been to this store since it opened. in the beginning it was great but over the years, it has gotten really bad. Recently we had an experience and the Customer Service manager was involved. I'll call her "Me", know it all, 'SHALL' I'll proceed to tell you nothing that I can be liable for." For someone who holds a manager position, I found this senseless since I was in managment over 26 years. For her to claim her position, knowing nothing about the product, she proceeded to tell me things that she claimed she did not know. For instance, she proceeded to tell me that if it is not used/loaded correctly it can be invalidated. I started asking more particular probing questions about the product and told her what I already knew, since I read the two page foldout notice. I informed that the answer to a statement she had just made was incorrect. She said I was incorrect, though if she bothered to read it, she would have known what I said was in the two page foldout. I continued to asked her small things that she could easyly find out as they were written in the brochure she gave me. She started to "get somewhat heated in an angry way" as her face was getting a red flushed tone but to her credit, she knew others were watching and did not lose her "controlled response." I left saying "thank you" and got no response, so I said it louder but again she did not respond. I said it louder and used her name...no response though I was only about 8-10 feet away by this time. She was rude, judgmental, and condesending to me. I was amused and for her to claim "no knowledge"of the product, she knew a lot about it. I called the supplier, a very large company that I've done business with for over 20 years. They told me a completely different story....and that as a seller of their product(s) Wal-Mart know how the products works as they are given both verbal and written information. Update: I have since this reviews found out that this customer service manager not only was not truthful, as she said there was no money left on the prepaid card, I recalled Verizon who checked out the card code, the name, etc. The rep at Verizon said there was $50.00 that still remained on it. The rep said the plan that was purchased holds a small amount of $ in it so they phone can be set up, but it runs out fast because the charges are higher than the unlimited kind that was purchased. By the way, I am hard on public companies that I am also an investor in. I want the company to treat the customer fairly, or I dump the stock. Update for 07/06/2011: I called the Assistant Store Manager and told her the story. She said she would refund the Money and she did. That is a great start to regaining my desire to go back. I spent the better part of 3.5 hours canceling a Walmart order. I called Walmart over ten times and finally today, spoke to Lola, the Escalation's Manager in Forth Worth, Texas. She couldn't even write my phone number down correctly and told me to call the vendors to cancel my two orders. Walmart did not have a cancelation button on their website and all the numerous representative responses were, "since the order is processing, there is no way to cancel this order." This store has gone from easy one stop shopping to mall style shopping, wherein several transactions are required for your purchases because nearly every department is under lock and key. It is getting harder to get what you need without incurring multiple credit card charges (which will cause most banks to freeze your card). Hard alcohol - locked up; ok, this is a high theft item no one really needs, so, fine. But also: Formula and other baby items - locked up. Batteries - locked up. Many toys - locked up. Cosmetics - locked up. Even some clothing (Dickies!) is now locked up. Even if you somehow manage to pay for everything you want at one register right in front of the door, you will be stopped four steps later by a Loss Prevention Officer who will put you in another line, pretend to scan your items and receipt(s), slowly, and power trip on you, before allowing you to leave. As far as I can tell though, they only focus on unbagged items. As an example, today, the LPO wanted to see that my tote boxes were on the receipt, but I was the one who had to show her where they were listed, and she didn't bother to look inside them nor check that they matched the receipt description (which is unintelligible anyways). I get that people steal, but no one likes being treated like a suspect every single time they shop. Once I pay - we are done. Let me go. The auto service department has also gone downhill and is unreliable. On my last visit, I was the first car in line for an oil change, but (1) it took nearly two hours, and more importantly: (2) they left bolts off the skid plate under my truck (I only discovered the next day), and, also: (3) the staff and the manager seemed to hate one another. What turned me off most is that the manager started berating his female staff right in front of me about how they were stocking items, or when they were taking their lunch breaks. In short, shopping here is difficult, depressing, dimly lit, and not worth it anymore. read more
