It's my first visit here and I like how things are organized, plus the aisles are wise (free of clutter!), Additionally grabbed some potatoes, lactose free milk sour cream, pasta and a watermelon . Short, quick, painless. At checkout, your bought items are placed in a cart which you will bag at a staging area past the checkout (long table-like counter. 7/13/2025 cashier Yolanda with a nose ring. Did not greet us upon walking to her register. If anything she walked away from her register and said "just put your stuff down" stared at my husband and I then came back. I said hello upon her return she stayed silent bagged items, chose to talk to an employee about her day instead. I said thank you when she was done, she didn't wish us a nice day but she acknowledged the next guest. I said have a nice day and she just started talking to the next guest instead like we were non existent. Asking how their day is and if they want a bag. We didn't get the receipt when leaving, I asked my husband to go back and get it as I was bagging at the bagging counter she ripped it off and held it there without extending her hand to him. Will not be back at this location or any of them if this is the case read more

My dear friend and I had a lovely early dinner at Pho Rex that is just a few doors to the right of this ALDI. Afterwards, we walked over to ALDI for some quick shopping as my friend wanted to pick up some meat that was on sale for her husband and I wanted to see if they had any good fruits. She ended up getting some fruits, eggs, dairy products, and a few other items, but not the meat LOL. They ran out of the meat... of course they did... anything on sale usually doesn't last long on the shelf because it's a HOT item! First come first serve folks. I said to my friend, let's find another ALDI so she can buy the meat for her husband. She said no... if they don't have it here, then her husband is not getting any meat... she's not driving all over the place for it, but he can LOL. Alright then! This ALDI's location used to be where Trader Joe's was located. For some reason, it looks bigger now than when Trader Joe's was here. I'm guessing there was another shop that was also used in conjunction of the Trader Joe's space for this ALDI. Anyway, this store is bright, clean, and quite spacious. Some aisles were organized, but not all. Items are still in their boxes with the top or side of box cut open... very smart approach... I can see it as a time saver so they don't have to unpack the items and place them on shelf individually. It's not as pleasantly presented on the shelf, but it works. Prices are comparable to the Wal-Marts and Targets prices. Staff is nice. Interesting enough, this is the first and only store where I see cashiers seated on a chair while they scan the items and place them in the shopping cart. Thanks for caring ALDI! Tip: If you want to use a shopping cart, you'll have to bring a quarter with you because ALDI shopping carts require a quarter for use. If you're okay in carrying your items in your arms and hands, then you can leave your quarter at home LOL unless you're lucky to find a cart that already has a quarter in it. Came here today for less than fifteen items & left at 1:20pm today paid with gift card. I love Aldi who doesn't, but my issue is the cashier today was very rude! So I'm in line paying my remaining balance, I inserted my card, tapped my card twice, and this whole time obviously I'm holding up the line because their machines isn't working or reading the card right but the lil cashier is swinging his head, making grunting annoyed noises smacking his lips and rolling his eyes as if i or the people behind me can't see if hear him!! He then proceeds to call another cashier because there's a line now. He finally got his payment machine to work or whatever and that was that. I wanted to say something but decided to be the professional one... The entire visit to aldi was cool up until that exit lemme tell you how embarrassing and UNCOMFORTABLE up in front of the line the cashier made me feel as a guest!!!!!!! if almost as if it's MY card denying or my fault his machine stopped working but isn't. His body language and tone was SUPER Rude. Seriously like if you're working at aldi and get upset or annoyed that easy you have no place as an employee there, every time I go it's nothing BUT SMILES AND RESPECT! This was a FIRST!!! I didn't catch his name but he has a full beard, no haircut, a little on the estrogen zesty side. I understand someone working and having a bad day due to personal reasons but when you do childish rude behavior when you were completely fine with the five guest ahead of me and act unprofessional because of a computer error that messes up your "flow" as a cashier and you get backed up forming a line AND being the first interaction I had in the store the whole thirty minutes in there yeah no bueno for me sorry. When I shop here the store is very clean! It's easy to go through each aisle. I enjoy the weird stuff aisle of items you can buy that are like gifts as these change often. The cash register people here are always nice! Best thing is the prices are lower than your regular grocery store. If you go on the right day and time, you can get 50% off meats, chicken and fish. Getting there: Nestled conveniently off the 10 freeway, take Mountain north and the grocery store will be on your left-hand side in the same parking lot as the CVS. There is a lot of parking however the lot is shared with other stores so during peak times it could get crowded. Experience: I recently stumbled upon Aldi in Upland, and I couldn't be happier about it! This supermarket has become one of my go-to destination for all my grocery needs. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the impressive spaciousness of the store, providing ample room to navigate through the aisles without feeling crowded. But what truly impressed me was the pristine cleanliness that permeated the entire space. The staff here are extremely helpful and friendly. Really nice store, picked up 3 items - all placed in the wrong section and when I went to check out and ask for the price of each item the cashier blurted out a "wow.." is there not price tags on any of them?" My family shops at Aldi's regularly because they have the best prices around. I like the set up. Fruits and vegetables are conveniently located near the entrance and other grocery basics continue around the perimeter of the store. Today my husband asked me to buy a jar of minced garlic and some anchovies for a new recipe. I asked the man who was stocking the shelves (sorry I didn't get his name) if he knew where the items were. He stopped what he was doing and went to find out for me. They don't carry anchovies but he brought back 2 different types of minced garlic for me. I really appreciated him taking the extra effort. Well done Aldi employee! read more

My last two visits here weren't good. 2 weeks ago I came to get some strawberries and majority of the strawberries look like this. The workers excuse was "they didn't go threw them thoroughly" this is unacceptable. Then today I go in asking for avocados I approach a worker asking where they are and he tells me he doesn't know and abruptly walks away not really acknowledging what I'm saying. Maybe it was what he was listening to on his AirPod. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. On my out ,The same worker is flinging boxes everywhere trying to get them In a cart. They only get 2 stars because some of the staff are nice. This store has been here for a while now and the quarter thing is getting old as are the carts that have a hard time releasing now. Apparently now you have to insert your quarter and wiggle and finagle it until it releases the cart... just do away with it already, no one wants to have to mess with this and with the pandemic, many people have been trying to avoid handling cash anyway. Once inside, good luck getting your cart through the aisles. Rearranging and restocking happens on the regular of course, but today they decided to load up all the front aisles with crap effectively blocking all those carts we had to fight with to free in the first place, from even getting through. I had to go to the second to last aisle just to get to the back part of the store. Hey guys, instead of blocking all of these aisles, why couldn't you do one at a time? And the equipment they were using to do all of this rearranging was either not working or they decided brute strength was better because they kicked pulled and dragged the shelves / display things about as loudly as they possibly could. It was completely obnoxious. One thing I came to get were salad dressings and they had machinery next to them. I put my cart to the side and walked over, and all I got from the worker there was attitude. I'm sorry if my shopping is bothering you, geez. These guys didn't give one flying fig that customers couldn't access the products. The gentleman that finally helped people with the carts was nice enough and the cashier was nice, but everyone else made people feel like we were in their way. Honestly, if they'd just rearrange one aisle at a time and not bring out everything for every aisle all at once, it might not have been so chaotic. The produce leaves a lot to be desired. They had hardly any big tomatoes and what was there was mushy and gross. They were out of everything else I was looking for so I didn't get any produce. They were also out of the cheeses that I like (please bring back the truffle cheese and the smoked gouda!). The spice aisle was a bit of a mish mash. It felt like an outlet and what was there was what was leftover from another store. I don't know how much of this is due to supply chain issues, but basically they didn't have what I went there for. One thing they did have was chocolate. Their dark chocolate hazelnut bar is pretty good and somewhat reasonably priced. I really hope they get their ish together. read more

I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of my neighborhood Aldi only to discover their grand opening was yesterday. WTH? Where was the advanced ad or the spotlight or the corner sign dancer? Seems they are being very discreet about their opening. I only found out because I happened to think about it and checked out their website. In any event, I was excited to see their goods. After I checked out a shopping cart for a quarter, and entered the store, I immediately spotted avocados for 38 cents! Then I went over to their baked goods section, and with the exception of their bread, not impressed with the selection of pastries. Moved on to their cheese section, very impressed. Coffee section, OMD! They have Coffee Bean Tea Leaf coffee at a great price! Wine selection smaller than I expected, but very reasonable prices. Their brand of Winking Owl wine is super cheap, but life is too short to drink crappy wine. I upgraded to some Italian wine for a few more bucks. I also grabbed a take and bake pizza--not bad. And some no name English Breakfast Tea, bottle of honey, fiber bars, and jalapeño hummus. All of this set me back about $30. Not bad. At the cash register, cashiers sit as they scan, and toss all your goods back in your basket--even avocados, grr! Then you go off to the bagging area and DIY. Not sure I could do all my regular grocery shopping here, but they were very generous with coupons. I get $5 off every week in November, so I may try to at least get my staples here every week this month. And perhaps this place will grow on me. In the meantime, it's just ok. And I must say I don't like the fraudulent cereal boxes, it's disturbing and messes with my childhood memories. read more

Aldi... The most inconvenient convenience. When you find what you need at the advertised price, it's awesome. When you don't, it's frustrating because it's usually caused by wrong or missing information. Products are good, sale prices are good... The problem is tags being changed out regularly to reflect the active price. Often times prices are wrong or missing. I've shopped here enough to see the pattern. Many times I end up over paying thinking I'm getting a deal because of old tags. Worst off, you can't see your total upon check out! The register doesn't display to the customer their total. Sometimes the checker tells you, sometimes they dont, and usually I feel rushed. This system makes it difficult for the customer. For newbies, be prepared to be thrown off, you are not alone. If you're fortunate enough to work with someone nice, they will explain the ropes. Some workers here, think you should already know. Shopping and check out are just clunky... Not smooth at all. Tips: bring change to rent a cart, bring your own bags, never put your bags on the belt, double check prices with ad or ask a staff if you can flag a nice one down and do a rough total in your head before check out. It's a lot of work but if you think the products and prices are worth it . Not sure it is every time. read more

So happy Upland has an Aldi now! The cleanliness, convenience and helpful employees keeps me returning to Aldi but the best reason is the low prices, fresh food and Aldi Finds! You can not beat the Aldi Finds for great Christmas gifts but you do have to check every week because they sell out fast. I tried the Breaded Ravioli with the Francis Coppola Claret at $14 something a bottle, such a delicious dinner and you can not find that price point! read more

I love this store! My mom put me on it when they opened and I've been grocery shopping here ever since! So, I thought I should finally leave a review. Lol. Can't beat their prices and they always have fresh produce and great items you would normally get at other grocery stores for like double the price! Parking is NEVER an issue here, and they always have sanitizing wipes at the entrance for you to wipe your shopping cart down (major plus during COVID!!). Their staff have always been friendly and helpful. There's a cashier (young male, don't know his name) who's always SUPER sweet and genuinely helpful. I always pas by but never stop until today. First off make sure you have a qtr to get a basket if you don't have one you can ask for a token. Walking in it very well lit , clean & organized. I seen some great deals nothing past due date which is always a plus. I have one complaint I bought some already chopped up bistec steak which looked fresh. I got home cooked it with onions and potatoes and it had so much fat it was a waste . Each bite was tought and fatty not good. I will never buy meat from there again. Love the products, the prices and the fact that's it's close to my home. The reason I give it 2 starts is their customer service. I understand they are short staffed but that gives no reason for the cashiers to be rude to the customers. I just left and probably will be my last time going. Time to update! Workers are better! Maybe a manager saw the issues on yelp and decided to better train the employees. This is still not as good as the la Verne one, but things are improving, IMO. One persistent problem is how they work lines when two cashiers are open and separated by the food aisle. Shouldnt be too dificult to figure out when you open another register... you walk your ass out to the existing line and break it into two. But that is still too complex for some workers. I don't mind the quarter thing... the homeless around 10 and mountain are a problem and take carts all the time. Just keep a quarter in your car. read more

Thought this was going to be a store similar to Sprouts or something. What it ended up being was something like Dollar tree. I found a video on YouTube where they had advertised Aldi carried Keto bread (0 net carbs), but this location didn't carry anything of that nature. I've been waiting for an Aldi to open up near me for a very, very long time. All the store brand stuff that I've tried so far (cream cheese, heavy cream, crackers) are every bit as good as the brand name stuff, look like the brand name stuff, and you don't have to buy warehouse-sized quantities like you do with Costco (my freezer is breathing a sigh of relief). I really like that the meat and fish are vacuum packaged and sealed here and are reasonably priced. They also have fantastic prices on miscellaneous types of items like chopping boards, measuring spoons, cookware, crock pots, home decor, and a variety of things that are usually overpriced in most supermarkets. The only con I can think of is the cost and variety of veggies at Aldi isn't nearly as good as Super King (I couldn't find green onions, c'mon that's a pretty common thing, right?). read more

I was eager to check out the new Aldi because I've heard such good things. Plus, the outside of the store looks very inviting. I finally got to shop here when they had an item on sale. I get there and was seriously disappointed by the quality and set up of the store. What I thought was going to be a "Gelson's" (amazing supermarket) turned out to be a lot more like a "Grocery Outlet", which mind you got closed down for a reason. So, I stock up on the item that's on sale and ask the only person I find in the store at the register if I can get assistance in that department. After 15 minutes someone finally shows up, I ask if they have more product in the back, he leaves, comes back, without saying a word leaves again. Finally he come back to tell me that they are limiting me to how much I can buy. I tell him it's not stated that anywhere in the ad but he shows me a tiny fine print on the very back of their weekly ad that they can limit items.!so basically it's at their discretion what they can limit you and after seeing my shopping cart full of product he tells me I can only get two things. My question is, if they didn't have enough of the product they had on sale why not say that? No, they instead embarrass me and tell me I have to put everything back. Who does that?! Is this store here to make money? Clearly not! If you didn't have enough product man up and admit it. It's not my fault you weren't prepared for the sale. Long story short, you're better off going to the Walmart, Superior, or El Super market just down the street for service and quality like that. At least there they don't tell you that you can't buy certain amount of things because of their mistake. This store won't last here. read more

Heads up. Aldis is selling a Crofton 12" Sauté Pan with lid in beige or blue with wooden handle. At first I thought it was ceramic. At least the beige one looked like it was ceramic, until I got it home. I opened it and realized it is not ceramic, it just looks like some knock off non-stick. So I read the packaging closely, turns out the inside of the pan is made out out XYLAN which is a known PTFE, toxic over time. I guess the owner of Aldis is nothing like his brother who owns Trader Joe's. Trader Joes would never sell anything like that. Buyer beware. Refund, please. read more

I visited Aldi last week to get a few things for dinner. Every time that I check out with the same grocer this particular person does not greet me at all, he has done this a numerous amount of times and I am tired of it, I think it is rude and disrespectful. I'm not sure if he is prejudice or racist or even both but there is no need for him to not greet me like he greets everyone else I have personally watched him greet everyone except myself and I am not sure if it is because I am African American. I would really appreciate it if the store manager would do something about this or even the district manager because no customer deserves to be treated like they are not welcome or not appreciated for their business. read more

It's aldi so automatic stars for that lol. I was surprised there's one over here. It was clean and I was most impressed at how they have their non food aisle and holiday aisle. Very organized and Ive beeb to many aldi and not all are as organized in these sections which can be annoying . Kudos to management/supervisors ect!! Also found out they have hot pork sausage here at a good price! As well as pie crusts (roll out kind) for cobblers,pies ect and only 99 cents!! Eggs less than a dollar for a dozen large,sliced cheeses 1.79,many gourmet cheeses and cracker cuts as well as many spices organic and regular . What can say love aldis!!! read more
