thank you to the owner for clarifying! I changed my review to 5 stars. Hope this information helps…read moreother people visiting your farm. We will definitely be going back! Strawberries are great but service is not so great.... I called over a week ago to make reservations for u-pick strawberries and on the phone I was told that it is $5 entrance fee and can pay $15 for a bucket to take strawberries home. I asked if we can eat strawberries with the $5 entrance fee and she said yes and if we wanted to get the bucket after they might even deduct the entrance fee. She was very polite and nice. Today when I went in to pick, the girl helping me said we could not eat strawberries with the $5 entrance fee and only those who buy bucket can eat strawberries, and the $5 entrance fee is for those who go in just to supervise..... She showed me a little paper saying every employee gets the same instructions for pricing which only lists $5 for entrance and $15 for bucket. I asked her if there are more details written anywhere since it doesn't specify about eating, and the information being shared to me is so different but she said no, she was becoming angry and kept insisting if there is any misunderstanding that it is in my part for not understanding correctly.... I told her I wished I had gotten the name of the girl I spoke with before and asked what her name was, and she refused to give me her name she said she doesn't have to share her name..... owner cant know who is giving right or wrong information without a name... I just wanted to post this for the owner to see so they know there is different information being shared by the employees and it would be nice if there was more official information somewhere. Strawberries are great! And if it wasn't for today's service experience I would give them a great review! I'm giving low stars for owners attention and clarification.

4+ farmers market that pops up in the Downtown Upland area (area where there are lots of…read morerestaurants and small stores with an old timey small town vibe). The footprint of this farmers market isn't huge, but I feel like it has a lot of the vendors/ eateries/ things that I've come to expect at a farmers market. At each of the stands I visited, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I ended up getting some produce, a baguette, some candy, and some honey on this visit. The items were delicious and loved the baguette - using it as my bread at breakfast and making a sandwich at lunch. I definitely would love to comeback and buy other items when I'm sure I know what I want to do with them (when cooking). It can get pretty busy in the area, but I was able to find parking a few blocks away. It gave me a chance to walk through the downtown area and check out some other stores as well.

We also went to Dyvonne's Cookies and Bake Shop for a cinnamon roll and cookies - delicious We bought some jewelry and trinkets and observed the animals at the end: a pig, a duck , a Small pigmee goat and some Chickens. We also grabbed some homemade salsa from Valente from Tatiana. Ample parking along the side street. We spent a bit, but got many things that we wanted- a great day.

Update: they reached out to me to fix the issue and I saw them improved immediately…read more I purchased a pack of short ribs at 99 Ranch today. When selecting it, the top layer looked reasonable -- the marbling appeared normal and the fat-to-meat ratio seemed acceptable, which is why I decided to buy it. However, after opening it at home, I found that the bottom pieces were almost entirely thick layers of fat. The difference in quality between the top and bottom layers was significant. I understand that short ribs naturally contain fat, and I wasn't expecting them to be lean. I was already prepared for them to be on the fattier side. But this went far beyond what would be considered normal -- the overall quality felt inconsistent and disappointing. Consumers rely on what they can see when selecting products. When the visible portion differs so drastically from what's underneath, it raises concerns about how the meat is being packaged. Additionally, compared to online platforms like Weee where customer service is easily accessible, there doesn't seem to be a clear or convenient feedback channel for in-store purchases. That makes the experience even more frustrating. I hope the store can improve quality control and packaging transparency to maintain customer trust.

I still come here once in a while for Asian ingredients, condiments, and random things I need for the house. I've been to plenty of Asian bakeries over the years, so I was pretty excited to grab a birthday cake from the bakery inside 99 Ranch Market. The cake looked great visually and the price was reasonable at around $32, which honestly made it feel like a solid find at first. Now don't get me wrong, I actually like Asian-style cakes because they're usually lighter, fluffier, and not overly sweet. That balance is what makes them so good. But this one just missed the mark completely. The cake lacked flavor overall, the frosting tasted flat, and even the sponge cake itself didn't have that soft fluffy texture that good Asian bakeries are known for. It looked way more appetizing than it actually tasted. Everyone took a few bites and kind of just stopped eating it. For me, this was probably the most underwhelming Asian bakery cake I've had in a while. I'll still come back to 99 Ranch Market for groceries and Asian ingredients, but I definitely won't be buying another cake from this bakery anytime soon.
