I want some fresh mango and came to this place brought 2 box's of mango and jackfruit. After I came home and wanting to see mango, open the box and see all of the box of mango damage and soft and weird flavors. Both box's of mango not fresh. When you walk in, it smells like fresh fruits. So aromatic. They have lots of things. Everything looks good and fresh. Lots of mango sold in boxes. Many varieties too. Cherimoya! Fresh peanuts by the pound. They have fresh garlic hung. They also have pre-cut jackfruit in the refrigerated box. None of the items have price tags so you'll need to ask the lady. Nice ladies and a great selection of tropical fruit. Prices are very reasonable. I came looking for cacao fruit but I was too late in the season again. I opted for pre cleaned jackfruit. A nice large container we was only $10. The fruit was so sweet! One of my favorite fruit. I would definitely revisit when in the neighbor. They also sold a few plants and had fresh coconuts for sale. I usually grab jackfruits from here for my mom and I would always ask to make sure if their jackfruit is crunchy before I buy them because my mom and I don't like it mushy or soft. The lady would tell me if it was crunchy or not which was pretty accurate and I really appreciated that. But recently for the last 3-4 times, the answer she gave me was yes but the jackfruits were very mushy and soft. Only a few top ones were crunchy. I felt cheated. Many times when I come here, they are out of fruit that I came for (understandable, tropical fruit that's good is challenging to source and keep stocked)..so I figure the best way to know what they have is to call in and ask beforehand. I've been coming here for mangos and jackfruits, i also bought so many other kind tropical fruits. 2 days ago, i bought sapoche, Hawaii longan and a box of mango. I trusted the lady, i let she picked for me. I coould not eat sapoche or longan at all. Longan were not sweet, old, some were cracked, big seeds. Usually hawaii longan is extremely sweet and thick meat. Sapoche were hard outside, soft inside anfd tasteless. Last time when i bought them, it was so good. I've recently developed a habit of dropping by here for my weekly fix of jackfruit! Not good for my wallet but so yummy for my tummy :) Fresh jackfruit used to be a rare treat for me, not any more. One box of freshly shucked jackfruit is $10. Just be sure to specify to the owner if you prefer the more firm or ripe variety. He was good at accommodating my request today . You can also buy the whole (huge!) jackfruit, cheaper but labor intensive. Besides my beloved jackfruit, they also sell other tropical fruits such as papayas, mangoes, cherimoyas, lychees and non-tropical fruits like cherries. We bought a fresh durian cost more than $50. It was picked by the lady who was working at the store and she told my mom guarantee that was a good one, it had some crack lines that means it was ripped and ready to eat. She asked my mom if my mom needs help with open the durian (without explaining further why she was offering help). My mom said No because we know how to open a durian at home, we don't need her help. We got home within an hour, we opened it, it was hard as a rock. I believe in Vietnamese called "bi suon". So we called the store, the lady picked up the phone she denied any exchange or return and not even a sorry. She said they only do exchange if it was opened in their store. No Return or exchange when we open it at home. How are we supposed to know if we walked out the door we can not exchange or return any items we've just bought if what she said was only "do you need help with open it?". Ended up we waisted $50+ in trash can. read more

Honestly, this is an awesome place to buy fresh fruits !!! The fruits are very fresh and the manager there is super nice. The store have exotic fruits imported from around Asia and America. I love their Longans and lychees, passion fruits, and coconuts. I think people should really try this place out , rather than paying for fruits from the markets that are nearly expired with many layers of pesticides.
