I bought their soy bean pudding. That shit straight up had rocks in it (?!!!?!?) AND the syrup was watered down. I want my money back.

All of their products are made daily with NO preservatives; so they need to be consumed right away or they would turn bad!

Of course, I also grabbed a couple of my favorites: creme brulee and maple bacon are always a must. I only picked up one of their new blueberry donuts, and after the first bite, I immediately regretted not buying more. Perfectly sweet, bursting with blueberry flavor, and that moist, cake-like texture..A+. The service was just as great as the food. The only employee working was super perky and helpful, and the shop has added some awesome new merch since my last visit (loving the look and feel of their white hoodies!). I also noticed several new drinks on the menu, so I definitely need to come back to try those. I always walk away from Old Ferry a satisfied customer, can't recommend them enough!

I thought this would be my favorite but it wasn't. Cream filled - the cream filling was light and not too sweet. I found it oddly refreshing to eat. Peanut butter - I did not expect to like it as much as I did. This was tied for the top. There's a small parking lot. Arrive early or take a tour of the surrounding area to find a spot. Enjoy!

I usually place an order through their Instagram DMs a few weeks in advance for holidays. You can ask for their excel spreadsheet and they'll send it to you with prices and this same spreadsheet updates every year! There is also a little deposit for holiday pick up depending on the size of your order. Their sashimi platter is beautiful, fresh, delicious, and always a party favorite. I usually get: Salmon, Toro, Yellowtail, Scallops, and Oysters. If available, uni trays and fresh wasabi (which can also be picked up at HMart). Scallops are my favorite but every piece of fish is so good and cut perfectly. Parking and pick up is easy. It is a very small store front with one party inside at a time and pay at the counter. Highly recommend for party platters for fresh sashimi.

I love how close this place is too. I decided to ditch the store bought milk in plastic containers & go for glass & have been putting off coming here until I noticed that store bought milk started clumping & smelling weird well withing the "best buy" date and only a couple days after purchasing. I also started noticing clumping by the neck of the plastic jugs and finally had enough. I grabbed my youngest this morning & headed on over. It really is drive up, we parked right in front and hopped out. I should have taken more pictures but I was excited to get to see the selection & the old school milk man truck!!! Thats soo dope. [The only other place I've seen a part of history like that is at Happy Day Preschool because they have(had) a fire truck from the 40s on site.] Anyways. Yeah its a bit more expensive than the cheap plastic container store brand milk, but I got a gallon (2 half gallons) of regular whole milk & a pint of chocolate for right under 20 bucks. Thats still HELLA reasonable. And this was my first time so I was paying for the glass containers too. So you're telling me, no micro plastics, real milk for UNDER 20 bucks? Maaaaaaaaaannnn. Im hella beating myself up for not coming sooner. This milk even smells different. I tossed the rest of this other milk out. From now on we are a Broguiere family. I will be back.

They have so many different options, including rice dishes, sauces, fried chips, snacks, and Indonesian drinks. I actually think some of their dishes taste a lot better than some of the Indonesian restaurants we've tried in SoCal. Everything is always freshly made, and the flavors really remind me of home. My friends and I usually get the banana-wrapped rice with beef rendang or the chicken version. We also tried the nasi kucing with octopus, and it was really good! The only downside I'd say about the rice plates is that I wish they gave more meat and less rice, especially with the larger wrapped ones. The prices definitely aren't cheap for these meals, but the food does taste good. We also tried their fried banana topped with cheese and Ceres, and it was chef's kiss. It was so good that I regret not getting more! This is a place we always used to visit when we lived in SoCal, and we still make a point to stop by whenever we're visiting down there now that we've moved to the Bay Area. There are still so many other dishes from this place that I haven't tried yet, but I definitely will the next time I visit! Parking is first come first serve and it's free. Sometimes during the weekend, it gets packed. There are limited outdoor seatings in front of the shop and no indoor seatings. They have microwave inside for you to heat the food and water as well. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're ever in the area. If you're craving authentic Indonesian flavors that remind you of home, this is definitely worth a visit.

They have so many yummy looking options but This time I got their banana fritters, coconut dessert, iconic Nasi Padang, and turmeric rice plate to try. The banana fritters had a nice lightly crisp batter coating a slightly firm sweet a bit tart banana topped with some shredded cheese that didn't really taste like anything and some fun cocoay choco sprinkles. The coconut dessert was thick and had creamy coconut pudding, soft sago, pretty purple rice, chewy mochi balls, and perfectly sweet coconut milk. I got their special shredded beef nasi padang with the chili on the side and it had a bunch of stuff from fragrant flavorful rice, a fried boiled egg, a tiny bit spicy shredded beef, crunchy cucumber and peanuts, and a soft fluffy smooth potato croquette. Pure deliciousity. The tumeric rice plate also came with more of that yummy rice with some fun crunchies, a chili sauce, a beefy piece of beef rendang, slightly sweet savory bell peppery tempeh, fried chicken piece, and a hard boiled egg in some a bit spicy chili sauce. Everyone is so nice and hardworking and the food was super flavorful and had the perfect balance of sweet savory and a bit of spice for life. Overall this place is pretty good. Turmeric rice plate $20 Shredded beef wrap $18 Dessert $10 Fried banana $13
