OG Sugarcane Spot Still Hits Different This spot has been the OG go-to for sugarcane drinks for as long as I can remember. Small is $7, large is $8, and no ice is around $14. I still remember when these drinks used to be about $5... but let's be honest, that was a whole lifetime ago at this point lol. Even with all the newer sugarcane spots popping up with coconut water twists and fancy add-ons, nothing really compares to a classic, straight-up sugarcane juice. No extras needed--just pure, fresh sweetness the way it's supposed to be. Haven't been here in a few years, so I'm actually glad to be back. Plenty of parking right in front, and while the shop also carries a lot of Chinese herbs and remedies, don't get distracted--come for the sugarcane. Simple, nostalgic, and still hits every time. Happy sips read more

I believe it's cash only. There's another sugarcane in this plaza but this one is much better. You can call ahead to place an order but they don't take too long if you order it there. They juice by the order. They speak English, Vietnamese and Canto! Parking in lot is either a ton of parking or you may need to wait for one but, it's not too bad. Nothing in between, there are lunch and dinner rushes for the restaurants in the shared plaza. Soo good on a hot day or just an after lunch sweet! Wished they stayed open later in the evening.. for an after dinner sweet. read more

ORDER sugarcane juice (4/5) super refreshing and affordable too! she gives a lot of a ice, but the drink has a very strong flavor so it honestly tasted even better after the ice melted. very strong kumquat flavor, so be sure to let her know your preferences (no/less/regular amount of kumquat). next time, id ask for less kumquat since the flavor is stronger than most places. highly recommend!! SERVICE quick and friendly. AMBIANCE small store. parking may be hard to find. read more

This place is not what you would think of for sugar cane juice, but it's great! Come here for your sugar cane juice, for real! They sell other stuff, but they have a little area they use on the front left side of the store just to make and sell juice. The plaza has another sugar cane store, but this one is the one to get!!! Get it with the kumquat. Come here and get some sugar cane juice, probably the best of SGV. read more

Really liked my drink but was surprised that the flavor was so kumquat-forward! I've been trying to find a reliable cane juice spot and decided to try this one out. It's a small stand inside a store of a strip mall and I believe they are cash only. I ordered the large cane juice for $8 and was surprised to find that it tasted so strongly of kumquat. I'm not sure if you are supposed to tell them what exactly you want or don't want in it but while it was refreshing and acidic, I did wish the flavor was a bit more balanced. The pricing and size felt on par with other cane juice spots and I would come back again if I'm wanting this specific flavor of cane juice. read more

Here for a refreshing sugar cane juice. The large goes for $7 with ice and $12 no ice. Unfortunately the cup was half filled with ice which was a lot... I almost feel like no ice would've been a better option but you need the ice to dilute the sweetness. The sugar cane with kumquat juice mixed in which I am told it's the Vietnamese way. Personally I would ask for no kumquat next time as I like my sugar cane juice pure. Fast service, the lady juices the sugar cane upon order so it's very fresh. read more

My favorite spot to get fresh sugarcane juice! It is made with kumquat by default, so you have to let them know if you want it with only sugarcane. read more

My go-to spot for sugarcane juice! I had a shift today for work and the sugarcane juice came in clutch!!! Got a drink for myself and my co-worker and it was definitely the highlight of our shift at work :) The service was quick and easy, she also understands English, Vietnamese, and Cantonese which is very convenient! I always recommend this place for quick turnaround on sugarcane with the freshness. She squeezes the sugarcane upon order so it's fresh every single time! They offer 2 sizes for the sugarcane juice, small for $7 and large for $8, if you get it with no ice it's a little pricier, but worth she fills it right to the top! The location feels a bit intimidating just because of how it's off to the corner inside the little Chinese pharmacy, but the owners are very polite! The place is located in a small plaza with plenty of parking! But do be careful of the potholes...I nearly obliterated my ankle walking back to my car... huuu read more

Very good fresh sugarcane. Be patient because they squeeze the real stuff right before serving. Will take a bit especially if you order no ice. Large is $7. No ice large is $12. The lady is so nice. Place is cash only. But I didn't realize I had no cash until later...they let me pay with card with $1 extra charge (think the card machine is actually for the herbal store). read more

I love the sugar cane juice from here! It's one of the best ones in SGV that I've tried. I don't like the Kumquat juice with it so if you're like me make sure to tell them NO kumquat juice, and it's perfect. A little hole in the wall, and sometimes the lines can be long, but otherwise this spot is solid for sugarcane juice. read more

Delicious sugarcane juice! They use real fruit and sugarcane, not concentrate like some places. This is a rough looking shop that sells a variety of goods but I only come for the sugarcane. 03/12/2022 Large with ice is $7. You stand in the front because you cannot go inside. Wait for your order and pay when your drink arrives. You can order without ice for an extra $5. Smaller size available but be courteous if there are others waiting. Ask if they have already ordered then proceed to the front. Just mentioning this because there is one guy that didn't say anything or even mention that he called in an order and just steps in front of everyone. It's a mom and pops place crushing it and pressing real sugar cane for your drinks. Please be patient and your order will be ready soon. If you speak Chinese, call your order in. Introduction: While most people may come for the herbs, my friends and I come for the sugary nectar of the gods: the freshly-pressed sugarcane juice. Drink: Sugarcane juice, I grew up drinking this stuff since I was a toddler; therefore, the drink holds nostalgic value for me personally. This is the perfect thirst quencher for California's scorching summer days when the average temperature reaches anywhere from 90-114 degrees. At Khanh An Duong the sugarcane juice comes in two flavors: plain sugarcane juice or sugarcane juice mixed with kumquat. I like both options for different reasons. The plain sugarcane juice is good in the sense one gets the refreshing, pure, and clean taste of the sugarcane solely by itself; I usually go for this option when I want to get a sugar rush. The second option, sugarcane with kumquat, is good because one gets notes of citrus at the end of each sip thereby adding on to the sense of refreshment from the beverage. Service: Adequate Price: Affordable read more

Been in this plaza for many years, but never noticed this place until one day I saw a sign that said that they sold sugarcane juice. Lately, I've been craving for sugarcane juice... so I went in. Location: Vikon Center Plaza. This is a busy plaza so you might have problems finding parking. When you do find parking, you'll also notice that the parking spaces are really compact. I also notice that inside this plaza, there is another sugarcane store called Dr. Sugarcane. Feels a bit odd to have two stores in the same place that sells the same thing. Service: The owner of the store was very sincere, friendly, and had this confidence to say that he sells the best sugarcane juice in town. I still didn't believe it, so I told him that I would have to try it out to see. It also made me a little skeptical by the look of the sugarcane presser. It looked old. I looked in amazement as he continued to press the sugarcane through the machine piece by piece. It didn't even make any noises compared to other places that I have gone to. Instead of kumquat, he uses tangerines for the juice. Costs: Small is $3 and a large is $4. If you want less ice or no ice... it is a $1 more. Pretty standard with other sugarcane juice stores in the San Gabriel Valley. Sugarcane Drink: I loved it! It's 100% all natural sugarcane juice! I have tried a handful of sugarcane juice places and conclude this is the place to get the best sugarcane juice! It had the right consistency... the citrus flavor of the orange didn't overwhelm the sugarcane juice and was very refreshing! I think I have found my go to place for Sugarcane juice! Come ya'll this place is legit for sugarcane juice! read more

I ended up here because Dr. Jolly Sugarcane Juice, which oddly happens to be in the same shopping plaza, was closed during its regular operating hours. This place mainly sells herbs but it seems like everyone comes here for the fresh sugarcane juice. Place doesn't look all that appealing. It looks old and wreaks of bitter herbs. I'm still very new to sugarcane juice so I'm not sure what it's suppose to taste like or what makes it taste good. The one here tasted a bit too grassy for me. It was still good but I was looking for something with a milder flavor like the one at Dr. Jolly. I guess that's all up to one's preference. Some people may like this better because it has more flavor. It seemed like this place mixes orange or tangerine in the sugarcane juice. I think the orange makes it taste more grassy. It would be nice if this place mixed it with ginger instead. Sugarcane juice comes in regular size ($3) and large ($4). They are pretty huge. Even the regular is about 24 oz. The large looks like it's 32 oz. Service was rather non-existent. The owner looked grumpy and wasn't friendly at all. I may need to give this place few more tries but I'm not feeling a huge motivation to return. read more

This place has the best sugarcane juice and it's very affordable! A small is $4, large is $5, and a gallon is $35. If there's a few people in line it can take a few minutes to get the drink because it's press to order and it's not pre-made like most places. This place is located inside a herbal store as well. Because of the pandemic, no one is allowed inside and everyone orders and pays at the door. They squeeze kumquat into the sugar cane juice and it's so good and refreshing. I usually like having coconut water added into my sugarcane juice but this place is authentic and doesn't have any kinds of fusions like some other places are doing. This place is the one for pure sugarcane juice! read more

Also, since it's a medicinal store, I found it convenient to look for mosquito bite cream. Luckily they had it!! I hope it works!! Favorite sugar cane juice place ever. I've been coming here since I was a few years old. The previous owner sold this place to a new owner, but the sugar cane juice recipe is still the same. You need to keep it simple. Sugar cane juice and kumquat, with ice. It's refreshingly simple and thirst quenching. You have to support the old school mom and pop shops like this. Though I always order in language, they speak enough English for one to buy a drink. People should come and try this place out. It's OG and mad yums. read more

NEW ownership. The shop was managed by a sweet elderly couple husband and wife team. Regrettably, Mr. Sugar Cane himself, half of the dream team, passed away a month ago. The new owners gave me the bitter news. Mr. Sugar Cane had a reserved dignity to him whenever I stopped by the shop and you can sense the knowledge and care of craft he applied in all that he did from weighing dried herbs to chilling the sugar cane stalks @ the optimal temperature to maintain freshness, taste and flavor. He, unquestionable, had an eye for quality. I tipped my hat, and will continue to, to think of you, Mr. Sugar Cane, whenever I patron the shop.
