At first, I was a little skeptical as the pineapple buns seemed much flatter than others I had seen before. That was ultimately no issue as it turned out to be the most delicious pineapple bun I had ever had!! Buttery, soft, almost decadent. It is a must try. Not too sweet and perfect texture. This has become my favorite item and favorite pineapple bun ever! Next, the red bean loaf. It was pre cut into thick, luscious slices. It was like biting into a cloud! Super soft and tasty! It had red bean paste marbled into the bread, adding a beautiful sweetness, which was not at all overwhelming or artificial. At the time we were visiting, they had limited baked goods left for the day since it was near closing time. I ended up buying $14+ worth of bread and sweet buns. Prices were okay nothing extremely high. European mochi taro bun was very light and good... good amount of filing and not too sweet. Oat Raisin Walnut bread was warm and fresh... very fluffy and tasty! I haven't tried the Walnut Tarts yet. Two lady staff members were super friendly and helpful. One lady spoke Cantonese/Mandarin and the other lady just spoke Mandarin. They were trying to get us to buy more stuff, but we didn't bite. Glad we got a few baked goods for the road. You can special preorder a birthday cake for future events for pick up as well, they have so many options and they come out so nice!
