So cute
Rebecca J.

Took my 3rd grade class on a field trip to the farm . It was a really great experience for the kids and the grounds are very well kept . Our tour guides were knowledgeable and there were many hands on opportunities for the kids to plant , taste , and touch ! We would have loved to see more animals or get a closer experience with the animals , but it was still a very memorable trip with many items the kids got to keep and try ! Thank you Farm at Fairplex !

#AzuniaTequila Dinner at the Farm.
Britnee P.

I enjoyed the Azunia Tequila farm dinner recently, courtesy of the Sheraton. My work is hosting our commencement at the Sheraton (on the fairgrounds), and as a thank you, the wonderful catering manager invited us to the farm. The exclusive event serviced 80 guests, and included free appetizers and cocktails upon check in. Cocktail hour began at 6 and dinner was served by 7. Azunia Tequila's representative was on site and discussed each pairing of tequila before we began each course. There were 5 amazing courses and each had a unique tequila shot or cocktail to go with it. The courses were inspired by Cinco De Mayo, as the event took place on May 5th. What better way to celebrate than with tequila and a lot of it! I I would come back month after month to try the new tasting menus. Next month will be a winery serving tastings with each course. The food was delicious. The chef created Mexican inspired dishes that were unique and fresh. All ingredients were harvested on site at the Farm. Highly recommend this experience. Something different than what most are used to when thinking of Pomona Fairplex. Tip: bring a sweater. The evening hours get chilly and the event is out doors. They provide warm throw blankets just in case.

Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store - Tomatoes from plants sold at Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store Tomatozania event

Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store

My wife and I were taking the backroads from Chino Hills back to Los Angeles when we stumbled…read moreacross the Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store. This looked like a big ol' farm store and from the second I saw it, I was pretty darn excited. This large store features ample parking, tables outside, and a petting zoo that didn't actually have any animals, but maybe they were just inside. The shop itself is full of baked goods, clothing, drinks, and literally everything else you can usually find at a farm style store. I was super tempted to pick up a bunch of chocolate when walking around, but since it was pretty hot outside I had to settle for the farms own Orange Juice and a big fat rice crispy treat with chocolate and pretzel on top. The orange juice was OH SO refreshing on this hot day and the rice crispy treat was really good as well. Overall, The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a great place to stop and pick up a few things. I really liked the two things I picked up and I can definitely see stopping back here the next time i'm in Pomona!

A great place if you need fresh fruits and vegetables. Today, we went for their Tomatozania Plant…read moreSale. We were interest in seeing what they had in store, since we've never stopped by before. We parks on the grass field and walked towards the vendors first. We bought some fruits and vegetables from the student farm stand (what a steal!) and it was a great feeling knowing that we were supporting the Cal Poly Pomona students. The produce was grown and picked by the CPP students. We also were able to purchase honey from CPP; the honey was produced at the school and jarred by students. There were about 8 food trucks. After we took a walk around, we went into the farm store. It was packed with people and the line was snaked around the interior of the store. I've never seen so many varieties of tomato plants or this many people interested in purchasing plants. We didn't walk away with a tomato plant this time around, but perhaps next time. It was lovely experience.

This place totally exceeded my expectations! The Cal Poly Pumpkin Festival is huge - way bigger…read morethan I thought it would be. There's something for everyone: a giant pumpkin patch, gorgeous sunflower fields, a fun petting farm, and tons of great food and activities. The sunflower fields were one of my favorite part -- absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos. The petting farm was such a cute touch too (the sheep definitely stole the show). You can tell the students really put their heart into making the whole event feel welcoming and organized. We also stopped by the Farm Store on our way out and stocked up on fresh produce, wine (they grow their own grapes!), and some amazing pumpkin bread.

Attended CCP Pumpkin patch festival this year and had a good experience on the day of my visit…read more Upon entering the main entrance, there were signs for the Pumpkin patch/Corn maze/ Petting zoo/ Sunflower area, and a scheduled list of small business vendors participating in the CCP vegetable garden. Got there when the event first open, crowd was too massive and was able to take some really great pictures in the Pumpkin area. The petting zoo was really fun- Goats and herds of sheep were walking around the petting area awaiting to be fed (really liked the cleaning station near the exit for easy hand washing), animals were really mellow- which created a fun environment for kids. Agreed with some reviews; the entrance fee is a bit pricey, though I did enjoy this festival
