I've been searching for a local chicken farmer for YEARS and am so thrilled to have found Maust Family Farm - not only are their eggs delectable but their home grown chickens have been some of the tastiest birds I've had since my childhood in rural Texas! On my first visit I bought a whole hen to roast, some bone-in breasts for soup, some boneless breasts, and some thighs. They also offer honeys, jams, and various peanut butters from other local kitchens and I couldn't resist giving them a try since they had minimal ingredients, no preservatives, AND no added sugars! I also just had to try their green eggs. Everything has been flawless and of excellent quality. Their green eggs have the most vibrant yolks of any eggs I've tried at other local farms or when compared to the "organic cage free" eggs at Ralphs. They're larger too and the flavor is so rich - I absolutely loved them and they will be my go-to egg from now on. Their egg prices are impressive given the quality - I found them to even be a bit cheaper than the organic cage free eggs I typically get at Ralphs so it's a win-win! For the chicken, so far I've roasted the whole hen and threw the bone-in breasts in the pan to roast as well (instead of using them in a soup like I originally intended lol) - O.M.G. the flavors and textures were just incredible! I was immediately taken back to my childhood eating fresh cleaned hens from my grandparents' back yard. The flavor is much more intense imo and the texture is palpable, tender, and noticeably authentic. If you've never had birds fresh off the farm like this you should try it! You'll never be able to trust the grocery store meats again lol. The hens are smaller than what you'll see in the grocery stores and that's bc these are ACTUAL REAL chickens. I have no idea what they're feeding us at the national chains anymore and it drives me crazy - the food situation in America is so tragic and I feel so lucky to have finally found an actual farm like Mausts!  Just please keep in mind - if you are a stranger to fresh butchered chickens, you need to be prepared to see chicken heads on the whole hens and deal with occasional bits of feathers to pull out in places etc - again, that's bc these are authentic, real chickens lol. And also - all their animals seemed very well cared for with plenty of space and fresh air and freedom to roam while being kept safe. The price for their chicken is a bit higher than the grocery chains - but it's a price I'll happily pay for actual meat that isn't pumped full of god-knows-what. Maust farms don't use any antibiotics on their birds or any preservatives in their meats and they don't add all that water to pump up the meat weights etc.  The lady at the register was so nice to me - so patient in answering my questions and helping me get all the meat cuts I was hoping for. Their birds are cleaned and packaged daily by a USDA approved butchery and sold in giant coolers at the ranch. Everything is regulated and their ranch store was spotlessly clean - I was impressed.  They also offer whole roosters for roasting, various hen parts, gizzards, and even feet! And as far as eggs go, they all the standard egg sizes, green, brown, white - and they even have quail eggs and duck eggs! They have a very large ranch complex with tons of unpaved parking in great condition. They have a collab with Ian's Farm selling excellent veggies on site and they even have their very own petting zoo full of goats and other cute creatures lol.  I had such a wonderful experience here and will definitely be getting all my chicken and eggs from Maust's Farm going forward! Highly recommend!

This is my wonderful life. There is something special about driving and discovering ranch with fresh eggs, fruits, vegetables and meats, truly farm to table. The staff was friendly and genuine making the first farm experience more meaningful I picked up fresh eggs for my pies, and chicken giblets for my southern corn bread dressing. Right now my heart is fill with gratitude. I can't wait to prepare my holiday meal with such wholesome ingredients. If you're in the area and wants fresh food, check it out and tell them Team Smiley sent you

Have been coming here for years, this place is still the best for getting farm fresh eggs! The service is always great and the staff are so friendly, even when the line is crazy long. Prices are really good, if not better, than store bought eggs, remember that you're getting a way better end product (the yolks are completely different in color and texture). 5 stars for sure!

Absolutely love this place. The Ranch Egg Store in Chino is everything you wish grocery shopping still felt like. The customer service is genuinely warm and welcoming, the produce is fresh, and the eggs are on a whole different level. They even have a nice little area where you can pet the animals, which makes it a great stop for families or anyone who just appreciates a wholesome, farm-style experience. And let's be real for a second--if you want washed, bland, basic eggs that taste like nothing... go to a grocery store. But if you want the best tasting eggs you've ever had, straight from the chicken, rich, flavorful, and actually nourishing, this is the place. Once you try these eggs, there's no going back. Highly recommend. This spot is a gem.

The egg was delicious and I had it over their sourdough toast!

We went for the first time today. We bought eggs, chicken, sourdough bread, and tortillas. So far the eggs and sourdough bread were delicious! We're going to become on of their regulars!!

First time a Mausts, and boy the hunt for eggs is crazy. Not sure if it's always crowded here (but there were lines accross the street at their competitors also). The lot is nice because they have a petting zoo for the kiddos, and there is plenty of dirt parking. The prices are comparable, but if you feel they are a bit high, I would also consider how fresh they are here. Today I got a 30 pack for $15. Not too bad with the current grocery prices. The staff was nice too. Highly recommend this place for fresh eggs.

It's not their fault bird flu is a real possibility. People were pretty nice while standing in line, in the rain. There were a few that just didn't think the brown and green egg limits applied to them. Quite a few people were pushing themselves in the door when it says to keep it to 5 customers at a time. They see the emptying table inside and panic. Chill out! They restock the table with white eggs constantly. Maybe they don't want to put twice as many eggs out because pushy people will knock the table over and smash the eggs??!! So, 1 flat of jumbo brown eggs (20ct @ $16.25), 3 flats of Jumbo white eggs ($24.75ea, 30ct and no limit on white eggs), plus 1 bag of gizzards ($8) was $98. I know we'll all look back on this in a year or two and laugh that we were paying 3-4x the cost for eggs. BTW, the car line to get into Billy's Egg Farm across and down the street was at least 15 cars long. No car line at Maust's.

There was literary almost no one here! I spoke to soon! Check out the fresh vegetables!

Yay! Came back because I was in the area. I couldn't believe the line was long. I was told it's because of the egg shortage. What is it with people being super greedy and fighting for eggs and taking crates and crates?? Some People act like animals, I swear. Anyway, I got a carton of the green eggs since I was there but I really went for the fresh chicken. I got legs, breast and thighs. I'm going to make fried chicken. I also got chicken backs and "spare parts" to make a great stock. Oh, also got livers to make a delicious pâté. Thank you, Maust's! Always fun to visit.

My neighbor recommended this place to buy farm fresh eggs, and it is literally a farm! Besides the hens that lay all those delicious eggs, there are goats, sheep and llamas you can pet and feed. There was a long line of people today waiting to buy eggs because of this recent bird flu plandemic. They also sell processed chickens, hens and ducks too! I will probably become a regular here!

I just picked up a flat of kelp fed color small egg for 9.99 per flat. Staff were friendly. Can't wait to boil and try the egg. There was some animals in an fenced area which included some lamb and one llama.

FIRST visit: Uhhh ...fun! My first egg farm! * FEATURING:   === An adorable llama and its goat friends out front   === Egg "house" where all kinds of fresh eggs are sold (follow the signs)   === They do sell live chicken here as well   === Beware the smell if there's a wait (my usual overly acute nose was dying...) - they usually space out entries inside the shop to a few at a time * FRIENDLY service: Yes * FRESH air seating outside?  N/A * FAIR pricing: Yes! * FEE processing: None. Accepts credit cards * FREE parking: Yes, gravel lot in front * FYI: Fun, my first egg farm (and there's a few in CH!) If I can help it, I always prefer buying eggs from local small actual free-range farms vs. giant over-populated ones that mass produce for grocery stores... FOUR & 1/2 stars **** '

The eggs in left are from Aldi, look at the color difference! These are sea kelp eggs

    NO Cornish hens

I came here Saturday morning around 9:00am and there weren't that many people. Lots of parking spots available. Since I'm stocking up, I decided to get a box of the jumbo eggs $75 (100 eggs). I was told by the girl working here that some of the jumbo eggs could be double yolk as I asked about double yolk. We'll see about that. They had a fridge section for smaller quantity. I got the box straight from the girl at the counter. I'll update my review once I tried the eggs but am very happy with the easy process and the friendly service. They had a few girls working in the front ready to assist. Update: so we tried the eggs and thought it was good as it's fresh eggs but had better. Also found a baby size egg which was a bit disappointed that they don't actually check the eggs before packaging. Due to this issue, I'm downgrading to 3.5 stars. Service was great but am not sure I'd be back for 2nds. There was another place with high reviews. I'd check that place out for comparison and maybe give this place another try. "Maybe"

The veggies at Ian's stand are grown locally and are excellent quality. I was impressed with the variety and have loved everything I've been cooking! I bought some radishes bc I love to snack on them whole and plain - and they have been just delicious. I also bought a giant carrot and some green summer squash to throw in a soup - but I ended up making the squash as a side dish to go with my roasted chicken. That squash was incredible! Such flavor and so soft - infinitely more flavorful (and huge) than any of the same type I've gotten at the grocery stores.  I've been using the giant carrot and cucumber I got in salads and they're also so flavorful and delicious. I used the onion and garlic in my roast chicken and made mashed potatoes with some yellow potatoes from Ians - all fantastic. I'm blown away by just how much more intense the flavors are as opposed to veggies from Ralphs I usually get. The staff were so friendly and their prices were exceptionally reasonable - I paid $10 for my whole haul so I'll definitely be stocking up on veggies from here anytime I'm making a chicken run at Maust's farm lol! Ian's farm stand is located right next to the petting zoo on Maust's property and is easy to find.
