Been here a few times recently found out this is a small location that does not order like the larger stores so unable to find many items I'm used to, always lots of parking, but there are many homeless people in the area, won't be returning to this location. I was able to purchase some extra items I needed here for Thanksgiving. They had Marinellis Sparkling Cider, sea salt butter, 100% maple syrup, also some assorted canned sodas and teas. Also got a case of water. Store is clean and all employees helpful and nice! read more

Tonight I placed an order through Door Dash for NyQuil cough syrup. My daughter has a really bad cold. Ther flu, cough drops, hot tea with lemon and Vicks vapo rub wasn't helping stop her cough. She hasn't had a good nights rest in two nights. The dasher got to the store and messaged me to let me know they were out of NyQuil and pretty much everything else. He told me upon delivery he went to the cashier and asked if they anything in the back. The cashier said no. The cashier then told my dasher that he could have the bottle she had put aside for herself. I was so appreciative when I heard him tell me that. What a selfless act for her to do, and above and beyond customer service. We need more people like Alicia in customer service. Thank you again Alicia. read more

Great store with tons of variety and extra items you can't find at your normal store. Plus the bulky value savings without having to run to your Costco or Sam's club which requires a membership! Aisle are clean and large enough, workers are attentive with any request you have and cashiers are fast and helpful. Born out of the remnants of an old Albertsons store years ago, this Smart and Final Extra is huge! It's like a regular Smart and Final on steroids. They have everything you could want from a grocery store or supermarket plus a lot items in bulk without having to have a membership e.g. a Costco or Sam's Club. I really like that about Smart and Final. The prices are decent, it depends what you are buying really. The parking lot is large and spacious and easy to navigate and the staff have always been friendly to me. The shopping carts are great; I have never come across a broken one so far. This is pretty much the anchor store for this entire shopping plaza and most of the time there are no long lines. If you're in need of items in large quantities and don't have membership at one of those wherehouse places then this is a great option to turn to. read more

On 01/04/25 about 5:30PM I came in for the first time. I always like to check out the bargains at Smart & Final Markets. The cashier was great but one item (some napkins on sale) did not ring up at the discounted price. The cashier had to call over a supervisor. The supervisor seemed to be struggling so I suggested he cancel the transaction (only 2 items had been rung up so far) and start over and he TOTALLY ignored my suggestion and my presence. He made a correction but the two of them knew it still was not correct, but the cashier did not want to rock the supervisor's boat so he went along with it. I knew something was still wrong. I paid and then moved aside and reviewed my receipt. I confirmed I was STILL overcharged and I told the supervisor. He nodded he knew it and I then had to wait in line for the correction. The supervisor approved the 2nd correction but even then IT WAS STILL A SMALL OVERCHARGE and the cashier knew it too, but at that point, I just wanted to leave. I don't recall ever being treated so poorly at a Smart & Final Store as I was by this supervisor. The cashier was great; none of it was his fault. read more

Nowadays customer service lacks in many businesses but the cashier Sandy at this store was very nice with a great attitude and made the end of the shopping experience a good one especially when I was having a bad day. I wish more cashiers had more personality were like hers. read more

I shop here weekly and better priced than Stater Bros but their cilantro is a hit or miss sometimes it's fresh or very "old" looking.

Racial profiling is a serious issue in America and is a continuing problem till today. Racially profiling people at a store isn't any better in this store like others. This profiling is designed by the general stereotyping judgment which is then pass as orders to employees to stock, follow and stalking consumers inside their facilities without even masking their incentives which are based on race to monitor them. My experience in this store has leftover a deep anguish for the issue will probably still continue till this day until there's a change in management. read more

You have a sign at the door saying everyone must have a mask to enter, which is great! But then you go inside and your own employees are not following the rules! I started to shop at this market more often than Costco since it's really close, convenient, no long wait, tons of parking spaces, and no membership fee. The prices were either similar or cheaper on the bulk items. I was able to buy all the stuff when I was doing a party at home and/or work. They have a lot of great selection for all your grocery needs. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The aisle are organize and it makes it easy to find items that I am looking for. Smart & Final is the place to go if you are looking for larger quantities and you dont want to pay membership fees. Love shopping here! Rushed into the store to grab two items that I can't seem to find anywhere else that I need for my recipe. Thankfully, they always have it in stock! As I grabbed both items, I noticed that the store was although very busy, it was clean and well organized. Headed to the 10 items or less check out stand where there were 2 ahead of me. As I noticed the dreadful person in front of me with like 30 items. ‍ Well, needless to say....it wasn't the speedy line. So, I wait. When I made it up to the cashier she was nice and pleasant. I'm a huge fan of this Smart & Final store. The produce is always fresh, the store brand items are just as good (and sometimes better) than name brands, the prices are competitive to other nearby stores, you can buy in bulk if you want/need to, the meat is never brown (eww) and the employees are always friendly. My favorite part of the store is where you can bag up various snacks, sweets, nuts, coffee, beans, etc. You can rack up some big savings by self bagging some of these items (coffee and nuts among my favorite). I seriously like that I can purchase some food items in "small bulk". By that I mean, I can get stuff like canned corn in an eight pack, instead of a single can like a grocery store, or a case like at a Costco/Sam's club. There's plenty of "right size" items for my household here. We grill...A LOT....at my place. They've always got good looking cuts of steak, fish and ribs which are perfect for grilling. I'm a seafood lover, and LOVE that, from time to time, they'll have shark steaks or king crab legs out for sale, among other non-traditional seafood items (Pacu fish, scallops, etc.). Now please trust me, I'm not being paid by Smart & Final or anything, but compare their "First Street" brand ANYTHING to your favorite national brand and tell me it doesn't almost taste the same or better (for less cost). From milk and cheese, ketchup and mustard, burgers and dogs, seriously, my family loves First Street brand. (OK, since I'm being honest here, the ONLY First Street product we didn't like better was their waffle cone ice cream which were soggy). But still, if saving money is your goal, it's a safe bet. They've even got a decent selection of wine, alcohol and even beer. read more

Worst ever. I went to purchase bleach this morning and it was sitting on the shelf so I picked up a bottle. Once I reached the register the price was $14. I said the sign has it just over $4. The cashier stated that the bleach is sold in a case of three. She called the manager and he went to check and yes they are on the shelf individually, but I can't buy it because it's by the case. Then why the hell are they not in a case? Another reason for me not to shop at this store. read more

When I go into the store to buy produce. I sometimes get produce that is not the greatest. Lot of times you cannot tell. I've had problems with corn in the past. And now celery. When you pull it apart. a lot of problems this particular Bunch, was very dirty and had a lot of damaged spots inside.Not cool. When you are paying more money for the produce. I haven't been in here in a while but forgot how better priced groceries are here than their competitor across the street (especially greens and fruits) The only con is they don't have much vegan meat free alternatives but they seem to be stocking some I haven't seen before so their selection is growing. How do you not have Lei's for graduations when your stores normally carry them during graduation time. You have several schools not only in Eastvale but south Ontario, Mira Loma and the preserves in Chino that shop your store and had graduations last week! First, the employees here have always been nice and friendly, but as a store that's trying to be something between a grocery store and Costco, they are failing. I'm constantly disappointed that they are almost always out of items that are on sale. So every time I come here, I end up leaving and going to another grocery store because they are always out of one thing or another. Shop at this store and have had good experience so far. Hours are great, we can hit it early on our way to work if we have to bring something in for a social event. Tried the delivery service for the first time today....good experience, very easy and actually very convenient. Took about an hour to get the items delivered, but it was nice to order it and get to go do other things in the house on our "to do" list. Recommend trying the service..1st time is free. read more
