Convent location to where I live...price is low , but not a wide selection like your local stores..

The store associate ANTHONY is the greatest! I've worked in sales before and I know how easy it is to just be lazy and say you'll "look". Anthony isn't one like that. He is such a hard worker, every time I come to the store he's always so eager to help anyone at anytime. Sometimes he even help multiple people at a time! The cashiers are always nice, the floorworkers always helpful. You just need *to ask* and not act like an entitled jerk. Does anyone else love reading the 1 and 2 star comments obviously written by rich people who expect workers to be thrilled and ecstatic to wait on them hand and foot for poverty wages until they fall over dead? I do. "She didn't *smile* at me! It's obvious she's just here for the money!" The literal definition of a frigging job... "Oh noes! They *charge you* to use a cart!" It's Aldi's dummy. You get the quarter back if you take the cart back and click it in with the others. The literal definition of renting. So they don't have to send someone out in 100+ degree heat or pouring rain every hour to hunt down the carts you've left on the other side of the massive parking lot because *you* are a laxy pos. "Why are they sitting there not helping me?!" They're not helping you because they're doing their job, as a cashier, ringing people up who are actually ready and waiting to check out. They're sitting while doing it because Aldi's is a German company, where there are actual labor and safety laws that are enforced, and unions to protect workers, from the *scientifically proven injuries* caused by standing on your feet in one place for an entire 8 hour shift. Resulting in healthier, happier workers, with significantly less turnover, meaning less money is spent on hiring/training new hires. You just walked past a floorperson in an Aldi's uniform stocking inventory on your way to harass the cashier; quit being lazy and walk back over to them. Who the heck raised you people?! I Heard so many Good things about Aldi. I Went in for the 1st time today just to check it out and was so disappointed on the displays, items still in the shipping boxes and even the customer service was horrible. Cashiers sitting in their chairs and bothered when I needed a bag. That He (Augusto) had to get up and go get?!?! Not sure why there weren't any bags at hand at the check stand? The eye roll and pushing the cart out of his way... was very rude. I dont think I will be back to Aldi. I'll stick to Stater bros. It's just another Grocery outlet. So just had my first experience at Aldi overall the place seems pretty kool n hip only a few aisle maybe 5 .have a lot of off brands so try n pick what u already know u like .Solid prices I took a few bags home for about 80 bucks .Also I think there's a lot of hidden gems there but think they need a bigger selection of potato chips .Have fun shopping read more

This store is convenient and close to my residence and with gas and food prices this is my regular store to shop i have been regular few years. The employees previous employees were friendly helpful good customer service. Seems like there are NEW employees that do not have same attitude NEW employees seem very rude not providing good customer service which makes bad shopping experience. Richard the assistant manager is an Asshole, I always buy eggs when they're on sale for .79, the add says quantity of 3:12 dozen eggs limit, I try to get 5 as it is I hate the plastic packaging they come in for the egg sale & this mother fucker had his shiny chair & name tag to high to create an illusion that he was going through protocol the fastest cashier & scanner & forklift jack moving the merchandise in the isle for customers not to have safety issues while shopping through the store because they stock the store during business hours always saying their short staffed. Such a great store with all items at an affordable price. It's clear the negative reviews posted are from shoppers unfamiliar with Aldi's shopping concept. They do not charge you for carts. You pay a 25 cent deposit that's returned after you return the cart to the designated area. I highly recommend checking out this location! read more

Thinking of going to ALDI? Don't! It is the most inconvenient grocery store I've ever been to. From paying to use a shopping cart, to not having baskets, to a separate bagging area to bag the groceries you carried in your arms to the register because you only had your phone and your card. Organics are mediocre quality at best and overpriced. Nope! If you're in Upland go to Vons or Costco. I'd even do Walmart over this place. Disappointed. read more

My new favorite grocery store. I love that I can feel bougie with my snacks while still being within budget. It's nice to be able to buy at wholesale price without the bulk. Everything that I have purchased from this store tastes similar to or better than the store brand options. read more

I love Aldi - I've been a faithful customer at the La Verne store since it opened - thus I was super excited when I discovered one was opening closer to me. This Aldi is awful though. The managers have discretion as to what items they put on sale and by how much- the sales here are worse than La Verne. They also seem to stock less products (I can't find several of the items I routinely buy in La Verne). The icing on the cake though was an extremely rude and unhelpful cashier (Arthur) who single handedly managed to put me off the entire store when he insisted I was only allowed to use one shopping cart. La Verne is totally worth the drive. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Aldi for years. I've enjoyed not only the cleanliness of each store but the friendliness of the staff. Never a bad experience from Aldi. This evening they truly raised the bar. I visited the Aldi on S. Mountain Ave with the intention of picking up some last minute things for dinner. No menu planned. No preferences. Upon entering, I was instantly greeted by the manager. After a moment of small talk, he gave me some great ideas for what to make for dinner and even showed me where I could find the items! The store is clean and they have some interesting things, but it is at the price of having bad customer service. Here is my story: I went in, bought some dish soap and went to the cashier. I didn't understand something on the label. I asked the cashier about it. They said they didn't know either. I simply needed to know if it was scented because I cannot use scented dish washing (or laundry) soaps. I took the cap off, and peeled back the paper seal to smell it. It overflowed onto my hand and down the bottle. Now I feel stupid for doing that but I needed to know. If it was Trader Joe's or Sprouts Market, they would of done it for me and not acted like they didn't care. Trader Joe's will actually OPEN an item just so you can sample it and then use the rest in their sample area for others to try as well (which goes beyond good customer service). The cashier decides to cancel my transaction because I have soap all over my hands and I'm having a hard time using my card to pay for the transaction. This is what I heard, "Sorry Miss. Can't help you Miss. It's a liability Miss." The cashier didn't even offer to get someone to help me get paper towels to wipe off my hands and the soap bottle; and said for me to go to the bathroom. What an inconvenience and I didn't ask to cancel the transaction either. I NEEDED the soap! I sucked it up, grabbed a cardboard box to wipe off the soap I could, got soap on my credit card and used it to pay for the soap, after he rang me up again second time around. I walked out with soap all over the place and I was shocked at how I was treated. The cashier just sat in his chair and didn't call anyone to help. I understand their reasons for wanting to charge for their carts and sit on their chairs (at the expense of them appearing unhelpful), but this is inexcusable how I was treated. What I should of done was ask for the manager but I was too shocked and just wanted to get home from it all. I'll never go to Aldi again. read more

Loved what they had there and the prices. Everything was very organized and clean. The issue I am having tho is the service. Theres a cashier there whose name starts with a V well let me tell you she is very rude, sarcastic and has no customer service skills or patience. At first I thought she just has a problem with my husband and I but nope she was rude to every customer after us. They really should take a second thought on this lady. Reminds me of fresh and easy and those stores didn't last long. If you like buying off brand stuff the prices aren't bad. Not a big selection of produce. You have to rent the cart and also self bag your stuff. I can't see myself doing my regular shopping here but I will run in if I need something (if I remember it's there I keep going to Staters) read more

This market has very reasonable prices. Quality is good. Customer service is good and very fast.

I wanted to add that this store has a lot of basics for the vegetarian/vegan set considering how small the store is. Lots of different veggie burgs, dogs, sausages, faux chicken and crumbles, and regular and even flavored tofu on occasion, and various plant milks. I have tried their dairy free cream cheese and I didn't enjoy it but that might just be me. read more

The layout is different but may be better because its not so cramped. I noticed that some items are not available here such as the chips with horse radish. Anyways the cashier (Arthur) was very nice and courteous unlike some other Aldis. I have RBF so it was a shock to have a cashier greet me! read more
