SELF CHECKOUT STEALS YOUR CARD INFORMATION. I live down the street from this Walmart and have shopped there and used self checkout, this is the second time we've shopped there and have had our card information stolen and money taken out of our accounts after shopping there, it ONLY happens when we shop there and use the self checkout , we call to let them know and they don't care. They just keep pushing the call. Makes me think they are in on it. VERY SKETCHY. BEWARE. There is this device called a skimmer that steals the information and the PIN number of the card you use. So I think that's what they place over the card readers. read more

My boyfriend loves coming here, and I'll admit that this store has really come through for me in times of great need. Especially when I rescued my 2 kittens, they had the formula I desperately needed, which I'll always appreciate. And more recently, I found all the ingredients for my Shirley Temple board I made for a Galentine's party I attended. They really do have everything! Also their popcorn chicken is so yummy when it's available. I love when I can snag a fresh, warm cup before they sell out. That said, this location can get super duper packed and the lines can feel hectic. I personally try to avoid shopping here when it's really crowded. My boyfriend, on the other hand, doesn't mind at all. He's always browsing, especially the Hot Wheels and LEGO aisle since he's a collector. Walmart Super-center is a massive one stop shopping center for commoners. They have grocery, pharmacy, apparel, vision center, McDonalds, electronics, garden stuff etc. Every corner of Murica has them. This location is at the city of Rosemead. It's my first time at Walmart. I was astonished how massive it was and shelves were fully stocked. Similarly, their prices seem lower than most grocery shopping centers. I came here to check if they have the four items that I need. And they do! Staff were cordial and competent. Checkout counter was easy. Parking lot was huge and easy to find a spot. I dont usually shop at Walmart, but the reason I came here was because the online searches said they carried a specific brand of rice grain my husband and I like. Calrose Brown Rice. Parking is immense and not a lot of shade to park under. I went inside to the rice aisle and spent maybe 10 minutes searching for that brand. Im not sure how they were organizing their shelves, but not all the brown rice were put together. I found the brand i was looking for, but not the specific grain. I was about to give up, but I turned behind me, looked around, and found it! I think they need a better organization method on certain aisles. I went down the cereal aisle and grabbed a box and a carton of apple juice. I went to the self kiosk to pay and the lady said card only no cash. Im like, okay, no problem. Start to use tap, and she said she should have been clearer, that I needed the actual card to pay. So, no tap feature. My Mom wanted to buy some bananas this past weekend. We were in the Rosemead area at the time. I knew there was a Walmart Supercenter nearby us. It was both our first time here. It has a huge parking lot shared with other businesses in the same shopping center. Tons of people shopping, hence, no carts left for the taking. I think this is a very busy Walmart because it's probably the only one that serves the San Garbriel Valley area. Btw, McDonald's is located inside near the entrance on the Grocery side. My Mom was very pleased with the bananas. They are $0.50 per lb... not bad at all. We bought 7 bunches for gifts to friends and family. We went through self check-out. You wouldn't believe it... they have about 20 self check-outs. I was shocked. The rest are the samo standard registers. Anyway, the wait wasn't too long since there were 20 of them LOL. I've used Walmart's online pickup many times before and never had an issue, but this location has no control over its online department. There were 30+ cars waiting, no communication, and I waited over two hours with no explanation, despite Walmart advertising this service as fast and efficient. It was obvious no one cared. Employees were checking headphones, texting, or answering calls while on the job, moving as slowly as possible. The pickup entrance was blocked, and the entire fire lane was cluttered with equipment and items. If there were an emergency or fire, it would be a complete catastrophe trying to get people out. The store eventually closed, orders stopped coming out, and I was told, "We closed at 10." I had to return another day only to learn most of my order was put back, and when I requested a cancellation, a manager snickered and made a rude comment. If they're this overwhelmed, they should stop accepting online orders for the day and catch up -- but nothing was done. When I left, 20-30 cars were still waiting without groceries, affecting families, kids, and elderly customers. This is terrible management, poor judgment, and total disregard for customers. We've got over 20 bays, people waiting, drivers losing money, and meanwhile some employees are walking like they're on a peaceful Sunday stroll. I get it, people call off, things happen... but when folks have time to chat, joke around, and cruise with the carts like it's a theme park ride, we've got a problem. All we're asking for is urgency. This place is a joke. I belong to the Walmart In-Home Delivery and i HAVE TO get my deliveries from this disgusting place. For the last two years I order over $100 a week from this store and each and 9 out of ten times all my frozen items are defrosted and inedible. The manager of this dept. at this store, a woman is a complete "B" and they have these people delivering food in Southern California with NO INSULATED BAGS! All my food comes unsafe and they do zilch about it. I am now going to call the health dept. about this.Then the delivery people can't speak english either. My food is smashed, defrosted, salad next to frozen all wilted etc...when they arrive and you say hey this isn't even frozen they shrug their shoulders and act as if you have a problem! Then they claim from the main office to give a refund but one never shows up back on the credit card!! Rip-off company. I have had it. So they added solar panels to the parking lot which is a plus, BUT, all the employees Park there under the solar panels in the shade in front of the store I've been sitting here for 40 minutes waiting for a spot and I noticed so far seven employees coming in out of their cars in the shade by the front of the store under these other panels I'm also saying that these workers at pickup like to gather and talk between and during orders. Security doesn't seem to cover the outsidr of the store. I know this because I'm watching regular customers doing things to other peoples car and looking into their car windows. If it's not your car why you're trying the door to see if it opens and why you looking at somebody else's stuff inside their car when clearly is not yours I see you get out of a car five cars away. I see carts being pushed between cars and scratching someone else's paint job. I see kids liter and people cutting in front of others to steal a spot. I understand this is Walmart and not an upscale shop, but still, why does ghetto have to come into the neighborhood. I needed to buy something for home that was available at Walmart. It was a long drive and of course the item wasn't there. I also needed to pick up an item purchased online on Walmart marketplace and the guy who was supposed to deliver it didn't know where it was! It took a while to get it and it was the wrong thing as it was replaced by something " similar": who does that? Of course, long line at the return ! Today I went to Walmart Supercenter in Rosemead and the lady who was doing register number 17, carried herself very unprofessional, judged me, and my partner both being female looked us up and down with her glasses. Did not ask us if we wanted bags did not even talk to us at all. We packed our own stuff , we still said thank you with no response from her bad customer service. The next people that walked up they weren't gay. She asked them if they wanted bags talk to them, bagged their stuff for them and we stood there and watched we felt very judged. I never go to Walmart - there's not one in my city, but they have a great veggie cauliflower frozen pizza so I ordered for pick up. I left early from work to try and beat the rush and the signs had me going around all over the whole parking lot, which made me wait in each lane it sent me to, just to go to an area I could have gotten to much easier. The reason they did this, I assume, is to form a line. I waited in line for 30-40 mins to get a park and you can't check in until u have a parking spot so then I waited another 45 mins at the pickup spot - they should make more pick up spots or have less orders at the same time. I did target pick up and it was the quickest easiest experience even a day before Christmas Eve. I could have parked & got everything myself and been out faster, which is saying a lot as it's slow inside in line as well. Oh & the zinger: When I got home I realized they charged me for 4 pizzas and I got 2. Of course the 2 missing were the cauliflower- the entire reason I went there. read more

I was at the electronic section trying to buy a mouse that was locked behind glass cabinet. I saw this one employee, Olman. He signaled that he's busy with another customer, so I waited patiently. 5 minutes later, another lady came to the register and a line started to form. Olman then turned to me and said "if you want me to help, please get in line." He told me to get behind the lady who just arrived. Remember that I was not trying to purchase anything yet. I just needed someone to help me open the cabinet, but he told me to get behind people who are trying to make a purchase. I complied but said "it would have been nice if you told me to get in line earlier." Instead he waited 5 minutes until a line started to form. He immediately replied: "ahhhh that's just common sense!! Not my fault that you have none. You see a line here, so you need to get in line." Well there was no line when I arrived. I complied but when it was finally my turn, Olman left me at the register counter to help a Caucasian lady who just came up to him from the side. He immediately went to open the cabinet for her. Good thing another employee came over a minute later to help me, but I said to Olman, "you told me to get in line but then help someone who was never in line?" Olman yelled back "if you give attitude, I will give you attitude." This is complete DISCRIMINATION against an Asian female of small stature!!! He ignores and gives attitude to an Asian woman and ignores me. He sees a Caucasian lady and helps her right away without ever asking her to wait in line!!! If this is not discrimination, what is? Huge location and huge parking lot, but I park in the very back due to the fact that the people here are in a hurry and have limited driving ability. Many things are locked up, but easy to find team members to unlock the cases. This is probably a high crime/theft location? Open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm. Departments available in the Walmart are: Pharmacy, auto/tires, grocery, outdoor patio/garden, produce, meat & limited seafood, deli, etc. Service - Self service, so good enough. They check receipts (like Costco) on the way out. Price - Good, low price leader. I never check.
