I ordered my birthday cake from here and it was DELICIOUS. Mind you, I'm not a cake enthusiast, but this cake made me think twice about that. I got a layered cake (chocolate on bottom & vanilla on top). Both were great. The woman at the bakery was so incredibly kind, jolly, & patient as I fulfilled my order. She answered all of my questions with ease. I wish I remembered her name, as she was truly exceptional. I'm so glad that I chose Walmart to make my birthday cake. Things are not fully organized and it's very busy to the point where it's hard to walk in the aisles without running into people. The checkout system is very slow and the food area is not fully stocked to the items that I personally like . Today, my experience was pretty subpar. Mind you, it's POURING rain outside. I run inside, trying to escape, umbrella barely helping... and the door greeter, an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair walks up to me, looks me straight in the eyes, no hello or anything, and tells me not to shake the umbrella on the floor. Sir.... Are you for real. I'm not trying to. I'm just trying to get out of the rain so I'm not soaked. I did my best to shake off the water from my umbrella before entering the store. When I told the guy this, he put up his hands as if in defense mode. What the heck?? Maybe have a mop handy for rainy days like this?? Like, sorry me and my belongings are wet? Then I asked where the baskets were because there was right at the entrance like there usually is. He went to get some, and walked back and held them out for me for take one. I said thanks, twice, and he just stared at me. Nothing. As I was leaving, I purposely went out the other door and walked further, in the rain, to get to my car to avoid him. As I went through the other aisles, to get what I needed, I passed other employees. All of them seemed not in great moods. One guy, I'm assuming a manager (??), flew around the corner of an aisle in which I was standing at the tail end of, barely getting by me without running into me head on, and I heard him on his walkie saying "don't tell me how to do my job, I know what I'm doing" ... I did stare at him momentarily right after he nearly ran into me bc he was power walking everywhere paying no mind to who he ran into. Like... yikes y'all. The bad energy is palpable in there. I'm thankful for the Walmart app considering customer service at this location is nonexistent. I used to work in retail and I guess things have changed. I walked past at least 7 workers, no greeting or ask if I needed help finding anything. The store was fairly empty so it's not like anyone was crazy busy. I even stopped by the graphic tshirts where two workers were standing, holding a conversation amongst themselves, again, no greeting or acknowledgement whatsoever. They just continued their conversation as if a customer was not present. Again, went to the self service counter (I would have went to an actual cashier but only self checkout lanes where open) no greeting from the employee watching over the counters yet he made sure to keep his eye on me. I've never been a huge fan of Walmart, but after my experience at this store, I will NEVER shop at a Walmart again. The manager literally was yelling and arguing with us, including foul language. An item's price was mislabeled on the display, and they refused to honor the price. Another note, is that the ENTIRE section of products within that display (refrigerated cinnamon rolls, biscuits, etc.) this was the ONLY price tag for 12+ products. Edna at self checkout made us wait 9 minutes until a manager was able to come over, then that manager said a different manager was needed. Then Lloyd came over, already on edge and then escalated to a combative voice-raised argument in the middle of self-checkout. He even accused us of "switching the prices". I frequent this location because it's super close to my residence. This location is clean and organized. For the most part, everything is stocked and I'm usually able to find everything that I need. Store associate's provides good customer service. I find it ridiculous that Walmart only has one or two lanes opened no matter what time I go. They have a lot of self check out lanes, which is annoying especially when you have a lot of items. I go to the pharmacy often and the pharmacists' provides good customer service. read more

From no help in the automotive services when trying to figure out buying tires in store. All the way to the "gentleman" that physically screamed at my family for using a register that had a green light and was functioning. Not sure if this is just the end for Walmart employees being necessary and having the self scanning carts or the organization as a whole. We've watched staples in American fabric take major hits this year telling us no brand is "too big to fail!" Absolutely disgusted with this location. Easy to find stuff at this store but a point off for rude employees roaming aisles with their pallets with no regard for customers. You really have to be assertive and use your cart to protect yourself since employees will try and cut you off. Otherwise there are tons of good values here from groceries to home and garden so be on the lookout before buying items at more expensive stores. The curbside pickup experience is shockingly good here and puts HEB to shame. I went here to get a dehumidifier that said was available for pick up online. First off, online it said the item was in aisle J 32. There was no J 32 to be found. When I ask an employee he said it only goes up to J 28. When I finally found the right aisle the item was not there even though it said it was in stock. This location is my favorite Walmart. It is big store with wide selection of items. This b is my preferred store for drugstore items and pantry items. The aisles near the makeup and drugstore side of the store are narrow so it can be a challenge to get two carts through. The grocery section aisles are wider. The makeup section runs out of items quickly. Nobo underwear for women are good quality. The knee socks are good quality too, but you must have small calves. They are tight and do not roll down. The deli has a good selection of meat and cheese at good prices. I personally do not like the generic Walmart grocery items. The quality is not as good as other grocery store generic items. Finding an employee to ask for assistance can be difficult. Self checkout is a nice option and I prefer it when I have small amount of items. The bathrooms are not very clean. Be prepared to show your receipt on way out. The gentlemen scans your receipt before you can leave. read more

This review is for the Wal-Mart's auto center only. They were reasonably friendly and saved me a chunk of change when I had an oil change, air filter change, and a lube job. The caveat is, it's first-come first served and even getting here at the opening resulted in three people being in front of me in line, probably having waited for the store to open. That's OK, there's no reservations...but it took 45 minutes to serve those three people to get to me! Yikes, I understand waiting but this ain't Franklin's BBQ...after that it was several hours' wait, which I spent getting breakfast and touring Wal-Mart's vast collection of pet food, cheap frozen goodies, and auto parts. Self check out at this location you have the employees literally breathing behind your neck it is uncomfortable and really wierd. Another thing i always come here to buy infant formula when i go ask someone in electronics to unlock the shelf she does it and i pick it my self and then when im done shopping i pay for it , Well this time i went this white lady from electronics with colorful hair said i had to pay it in electronics even though im not done shopping. The ladies restroom did not have any hooks inside ANY of the stalls. One stall was occupied but I checked the other 3 stalls and none had a hook for handbags/purses so I'm assuming the stall occupied that I didn't check did not have a hook either. ABANDON ALL HOPE, YE WHO ENTER HERE. That's it! I'm done! Cutting the cord! This place is a joke. I walked in Saturday around 5:25. Hooked up their photo software to my phone and ordered a 5x7 print. The ticket printed and said it would be ready by 6:27. Cool I can get my grocery shopping done at H-E-B and come back. I get to the photo department around 6:50. I figure I'll walk in, pick up my print and be out of there in two minutes right? After all my ticket says ready at 6:27 right? WRONG!! When I got there no one was even in the photo department. I had to walk around and find someone and asked if anyone was even working the photo department. The guy said he was working both electronics and photo and he would be right there. About two minutes later he came back. There was a couple ahead of me waiting for their photos. Turns out they hadn't even been printed yet! So the guy prints their stuff then goes to help a guy looking for a camera. Meanwhile the prints are done and the machine is going beep beep beep beep beep beep beep for who knows how long. Welcome to hell. Finally the guy gets his camera the couple get their prints and now nearly 10 minutes later it's my turn. Same drill. My print hadn't even been printed either despite the note on my ticket saying it was supposed to have been ready 35 minutes earlier. So the guy changes the paper in the machine gets the process going and tells me he'll be right back. Sure. My print is done and once again I return to the 9th level of hell listening to beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep with the guy who said he'd be right back nowhere to be found. At that point I walked out hoping my ice cream that I bought at H-E-B hadn't turned to soup. But wait! This story only gets better! When I got home and put away the groceries (did I mention I bought them at H-E-B?) I called this crap excuse of a store to speak to a manager. Option 0 on their phone menu is to speak to an associate. Well I pressed zero and that phone rang and rang and rang for 5 minutes I kid you not and no one picked up. I remember having similar experiences at the Walmart near Four Points and that thing got shut down. It was a mess. Nobody gave a crap and it was continually understaffed. I was glad to see it go. Hopefully this pathetic excuse of a store will suffer the same fate for the same reasons. Walmart: just say no! read more

DO NOT ORDER PICKUP AT THIS WALMART LOCATION. I spent $100 and took 20 mins out of my day to order the items I need. They immediately took the money out of my account once the order had been placed. The next morning, I received an email from Walmart stating that my ordered has been cancelled and that I would need to wait 2-4 business days to receive my refund. I'm appalled by the fact that I'd even have to wait to be reimbursed when a big corporation such as Walmart has billions of dollars and plenty of workers to do their job when they'd rather be lazy at their stores and make excuses. I called a Walmart representative to complain and he had no other options in which I could receive my $100 back quicker than 2-4 business days, and the only other option was to call my bank and ask for my funds to be released earlier, which is not promised to me. Just another reason why Walmart sucks, they're employees don't give a rats ass about their customers, and will do anything to make a quick buck in whatever way they can.
