Most of the time the shelves are not stocked, basic products missing. There is no employees available to ask a question and if you find one they either give you an incorrect answer, don't know what you're talking about or they just walk fast so you can't catch up to them. I end up going to another store, although I pay a little bit more, but the products also are of a better quality. read more

Busy store. The only main drawback is their location. I think it's in the unincorporated section of l.a. County, do you have to bring your own bags. They have most everything. But check online.. Even at Walmart.com... Some of their own items are cheaper online and they will price match it got you on the spot. read more

And there would most likely be a link directing you to "EMPLOYEES WHO KNOW WHERE NOTHING IS LOCATED"...which would direct you to the link "EMPLOYEES WHO COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR NEEDS AND JUST MIGHT IGNORE YOU IF YOU ASK A QUESTION." Of course, THAT link would send you to another link: "EMPLOYEES WHO ARE PRE-PROGRAMMED TO AUTOMATICALLY RESPOND: "We're not a SuperCenter"...and then simply WALK AWAY FROM YOU. It's a tough call which employee-base is worse...this one or the one on Newhall Ranch and Rye Cyn. Just might be neck-and-neck on this one. So, although just returning from BOTH stores...the one on Newhall Ranch...where an employee wearing a badge stating: MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR. Question: "Where can I find the canned fruit?" He tells me where the canned veggies are. I say no, I need canned FRUIT...and will I find canned FRUIT where the canned VEGGIES are? His response: I don't know. (verbatim). I point out that his badge declares: MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR. !!! His response: We're not a Supercenter. HUH? I go to the front, see a male whose badge says CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ask to see the store manager. His response: "She's not here." Not....she's not here but can I help you...not: she's not here right now but let me get the Assistant Store Manager....nope. Just a monotone "She's not here." Apparently I'm now going to have to be the one to actually interrogate HIM for FURTHER info, because "Mr. Customer Service" is not volunteering any info about a possible ASSISTANT store manager. So I have to actually A S K if there actually IS an "assistant' store manager. Yes, but she's not available right now. And "Mr. Customer Service" makes NO ATTEMPT to help me at this point, but CONTINUES to talk to the employee he was speaking with when I approached him just seconds before. I always did my shopping here but no way I would go to this place again. tried to return some stuff with out my receipts and they basically told me to get lost, they came up with so many new roles and told me the new policies we don't return items more than $50.with no receipts and I asked them if its posted any were ,, and the answer was new policy I don't make roles its the management, which is bunch of BS. when they want to sell it they give tell you don't worry if you don't like it just bring it back , the supervisor was so rode that make me wait for more than 30 minutes and got on his cell phone and disappeared and I kept asking the cashier so what do I do now and she kept telling me that managers are in meeting will not be out for while . so I had to basically leave the store and will never go back there again. First, it's Wal-Mart and giving it one star is generous at best. Unfortunately, I had to go there today to pick up a Jawbone UP24 fitness bracelet as a gift. Checked online and they said in stock. Of course, when I get there, not in stock. But worse than that are their apathetic employees. I asked if they could check another store and their response was "...if the system is working...". One star because you have to pick one! Called about an hour before going to store to ask if Automotive Service Department busy to fix a nail in tire. Person said it was slow and they could do repair. Arrived at store shortly thereafter and person checking me in said "about an hour". Noticed oil change line serviced several vehicles but our car was still behind the car with the hood up when we arrived. An hour and a half later asked about status and guys just looked at each other like "there is a car behind vehicle being serviced with hood up"? When the guy on phone said it was slow I think he meant they were slow. The sloths at the DMV office in the Zootopia movie moved faster than this four man crew!!! read more

The costumer service i received today was horrible all you can see is old people with grumpy faces just checking us constantly and complaining in every department. To start of the dressing room lady is so rude and uncorteous, as well as the lady in the clothing department we could hear her murmuring o man. Next we go to toy department while im looking at the scooter im going to buy my son hes right next to me he accidently drops a few doll boxes the lady runs obviously angry because my son just dropped all this boxes wich i ended up picking up ,next i ask her information of the scooter and if she can help me locate it she tells me we dont have any so im there asking her how did she know if she didnt even scan the barcode i found one on the floor and ask her to scan it because its a girls scooter and i needed a boys well she goes in the back and tell me i cant see any so what did the scanner say? Well just horrible tone of voice and attitude. I totally agree with hiring older people but all of these people are working because they need to and not because they enjoy it therefor they are rude,inpatient and angry. If I could give this place a negative stars I would. Every time I go in there which is not too often but sometimes I need something really cheap they always act like I have stolen something. I understand trying to check receipts to make sure that people have not taken or if they've been over a charge etc. But when you treat me like a criminal... No. I am not going to handle that quite well. I hate that I have to come here. There is never been a good experience here. I asked Eugenio in the back where the superglue was and he looked at me points in a direction and says no words.A guy came up behind me and asked him another question and he was very helpful. Okay, after my third time shopping here I am no longer coming back. Each time I have checked out, the customer service is awful. Rude people work here. It is managements fault. They allow this behavior. Today, a mat wasnt marked. The checker asked me to go back and find the price. I said," with all the people standing around, there is no one to do this"? She just signed and said no. I told her then I'll just not purchase it. She said, "ok". Okay????? I just spent $100, and you think it's okay to not do a price check for a customer????? I prefer the Walmart at Canyon Country all day every day. I dislike the customer service at the Stevenson Ranch Walmart with a passion. Also it is extremely annoying to live so close to this Walmart and have to go to another Walmart because they are out of stock for key items. There is a saying the customer service is only as good as the quality of management bad management = bad customer service. I only come here for emergencies. To me customer service is everything if you cannot provide good quality customer service then why are you working have some pride in what you do. read more

I made a phone call to verify my order. The first girl that picked up, Georgina stated she was new and did not know how to help with a pick up order and transfer my call to another department. She did not transfer my call correctly and it was disconnected. I then called back and she apologized and said if I get disconnected again to call back and she will further assist me. She then transferred me to another department which another girl answered and said, why did you call this department. This is not the pick up department. I explained to her of what Georgina explained to me. The girl then stated, you called the wrong department! I did not call that department. I was transferred! She then said she'll transfer. But instead she disconnected my call. I then called back for the 3rd time and Georgina answered it again. She was very apologetic and I now asked for a supervisor and someone to help me with my online order. Nicki took over my call. She said there was no supervisor and I said then who's running the store? She offered an assistant manager. She answered my question to be brief and quickly have me get off the I still had to remind her that I wanted to get transferred to a supervisor. She then transferred my call. I was transferred to electronics, fitting rooms (and the lady in the fitting rooms was very sarcastic!!!!) Then back to the main person who helped me, then to electronics. It took 25 minutes to reach a supervisor, Samantha. Who was VERY brief! She was not helpful and you can tell she was rolling her eyes over the phone when I was just making her aware of the situation. I never had an experience like that before at this Walmart. It makes me feel that the staff tonight were not equipped to attend to the customers needs. And why was the only girl, the new girl, Georgina kind enough to explain to me in a generous tone and tried to help me? I would think the others would already know what to do, didn't know how to attend for customer care. I will no longer continue my business here and make others aware of the service I received tonight. read more

I come to this Walmart frequently, because it is close, and it is a very good one. Many of these reviews are not taking into consideration that this is a discount store, and everyone goes here. I have found many items at a great price that I would have paid a lot more in another store. Bought a gift card for mother's day on 5/11. The card was in packaging that had to have a tab pulled down just to be able to check out and put money onto the card. I watched the cashier at self check-out pull off the tab so that he could scan it. My mom opens the card today and looks up the balance online... $0. The entire balance was used in Orange County at a Family Dollar. Don't know who to blame but don't trust "protective packaging" on gift cards ugh read more

This is for their Lube and Tire center. Customer service is horrible! Workers aren't trained well. Was told 35 minutes for a oil change, they didn't get to the car till an hour later. Had some young kid working on it and couldn't unloosen the canister. They said the last shop who worked on it put it on too tight. I told them that they were the last ones to change the oil. Ask to speak to a manager and some guy named John came out and he didn't believe a word I told him. Seems like they all take lunch at the same time and the shop is very unorganized. I ended up taking my car to Lyons car wash and got a oil change & car wash for the same price. I told the worker at the carwash that I just came from Walmart and they told me the canister was on too tight and they decline to work on it. The workers at the Lyons car wash got it off with no problem wasn't even on tight at all. I will never go to Walmart automotive for anything again!!!!! Automotive Dept. is a joke. Showed up 90 minutes before supposed closing time, but was told they could not service my vehicle because there were only 2 techs. Apparently they either have a scheduling problem or poor personnel who choose to come to work when they desire. read more

I just had my last trip to the Stevenson Ranch WalMart. I had a list of several household items to purchase, the first was electric toothbrush replacements. Locked up! The second was mascara. Locked up! Try to find one of the five employees in the store at any given hour to unlock the cabinets. Good luck. What's next with WalMart...armed guards? Scary...I had finally found an employee walking by and had to say "excuse me" about 4 x before I physically touched his shoulder because I was so pissed off going up and down the aisle looking for a product. For a second I thought he was a deaf employee they had to hire because of quota. But realize he just wasn't into his job because he answered "I don't know it's not my aisle "!... so I asked him is there someone that can help me or is there someone you can call? I started to get angry and loud so he realized he could get in trouble and said I'll show you and walked me to someone who looked at me blank face and said I'm not sure but it could be there (pointed to an aisle). I swear they must have nothing but walking zombies at this Walmart! Maybe that's why they need so many employees because only a couple of them do the work of the other walking zombies. Just a hour ago, I was at this Wal-mart to simply purchase a plastic storage container so my step mom can take soup to work, however it ended a experience to where I saw a supervisor or manager named Edith go through a power trip. It started when the container that I wanted to buy wasn't in the list of items in Wal-marts log with the price, about 4 sales associates in and past midnight. Edith finally gets off her mic and asks what's going on after everyone around me if going up and above to help me find the price for this item. What does she do...she tells me that I have to get out. Why? The store is closed. Then she begins to outline one the sales associates duties of putting back clothes in their rightful places, while the lady was making a small purchase with a basket of go back items. If Edith has enough time to open her mouth and be rude to not only customers but teammates, then she should be the one helping me. Rather then bitch. This place is only getting 3 stars for those people who went up and beyond in the middle of the night, as for Edith I wouldn't even give you a star let alone anything in the negative it's to much a privilege. read more

Walmart what is going on? I live walking distance from this store and shop there weekly. For the last few weeks the shelves have been empty of many many items and the employees know not much when I've inquired. I spoke with Rain the manager and he said they are having inventory but they don't allow the shelves to be depleted. I beg to differ. As I walked around the store the other day,there were countless empty tags and shelf spaces. Many of the items that I went in for were no where to be found and this has been going on for three weeks. I tried to return a pair of Walmart jeans (Faded Glory Brand) because after only a month of limited wear, the seat of the pants ripped out. So i had my receipt and just wanted to exchange them since there were no signs of the jeans being through any kind of trauma of any sort, and the manager and managers assistant were rude and mean about me trying to return the jeans and refused to do it. I told them they should take them back so the jean company will know not to make them so cheap in the future, maybe help the quality control a little, but these two managers, Bernard Beale (661) 253-1911 and Chad Kubica (661) 253-2749 were rude and would not do it after waiting there a good 45 minutes to be treated like that. I left angry at that store and won't go back. And for the record, I took the jeans back to a different Walmart and they had no problem exchanging them in. "Update".... This is still the Worst Walmart I have ever been too... The employees all have a very unfriendly appearance. They avoid eye contact with you. Today I saw an item stacked in two rows with a price below it... I selected the item and at checkout was charged a higher price ($14.99/$29.99)... I asked the cashier to have it checked she said "You'll have to go to Customer service"... I then asked if I could ask a Manager..... I was pointed towards one... I advised the Manager of what had happened she asked me where the items were located (I showed her the Inflatable Pool Lounger)... She went to check it and returned, she then said "I didn't see anything there".. And said I'd have To go to Customer Service... All this with a look of annoyance (Customer Service).... I did and got my money back, all with out an "I'm Sorry" or any type of "Customer Service"... I took my other items to my vehicle and returned to the Pool area and saw the same items in two rows with the $14.99 price under it (Plainly visible)...... I don't think I'll be back soon read more

It's Walmart. It is open late so that is good. The prices seem fair and the quality is fair at best. It seems a little gross and I always shower when I get home. It is best to o in there after a workout or when you roll out of bed. No reason to brush your hair or teeth otherwise you will stick out in a crowd. read more
