I called and spoke with one of the associates, they had the product I wanted so I drove over. They're in a parking lot next to Aldi and Jersey Mikes, easy to locate with plenty of parking outside. I have to echo the complaints about the horrible pharmacist. I believe there are two Asian women that work in the pharmacy. I don't know if they are both pharmacist but one of them that is is absolutely rude to everyone. I've seen her laugh and walk an elderly woman that was in there when it turned out that the woman was right and she was wrong. She has refused to give me the generic version of a prescription. My first time leaving a negative review about a Pharmacy. I'd leave zero stars if I could. The pharmacist at 24840 Orchard Village, Santa Clarita (I believe named Mariam? Not sure..it's whoever was working there on 9/5/2021) is not only terrible at her job, but borderline scary in the way that she gaslights and lies to cover her mistakes. I arrived at the store shortly after it opened (roughly 10:30 am on Sunday) to drop of my prescription. I received a call a few minutes later, and the pharmacist told me that she couldn't read the date on the written prescription, and that she would not fill it until it was confirmed with my doctor (which would not be until Tuesday at the earliest, since it's a holiday weekend). It was legible in my opinion, but fine. I wasn't going to make a fuss. Instead, I told her that my doctor actually wrote the prescription for a two-month supply, that I had gotten the first months supply filled already, and that the dates on the two slips would be identical because they were written at the same time. She would simply have to refer back to her records to confirm it. This explanation seemed satisfactory, and so she said she would fill them within the hour. I returned THREE hours later, and as I approached the pick up window to pay, she was preparing to leave for lunch. I even overheard her asking the technicians if they'd like her to pick anything up for them. She walked right past me and left. When I got to the window, the tech informed me that my prescription still had not been filled. She told me the pharmacist would fill it and that I would get a text. I went to my car and waited another hour, but never got a text. I had a feeling they had forgotten about me, so I waited in line again. When I get to the front, the pharmacist informs me that she cannot fill the prescription because it is out of stock. Here's the kicker: she claims that she called me right before leaving for lunch to inform me that it could not be filled. I had NO missed calls and had been watching my phone to make sure I didn't miss anything. She also must not have realized that I saw her leaving for lunch, and that I witnessed that she absolutely did not make a call. Not to mention that she had called me earlier that day, so it's not like I gave her an incorrect number or couldn't be reached. She straight up LIED to my face to excuse her incompetence. All she had to do was inform me at 10:30 am that the prescription could not be filled. I would have gone on with my day. Instead she wasted 5 hours of my time. After some back and forth, she then informs me that she actually can fill it but it's from a different manufacturer. Huh? So then what was the point of all of this!? Instead of apologizing or even admitting anything was wrong, she says "I'm sorry you feel this way," and proceeds to explain how she's doing me a big favor by providing me a prescription for a "controlled substance" that she did not want to fill in the first place. What??? Right before I checked out, there was a woman in line in front of me having a similar issue with her son's ADHD medication not being filled multiple times, and with her not being informed of it. This pharmacist is messing with peoples lives. The mistakes were bad enough.. but I can understand that some people just have bad days. But this pharmacist was bordering on sociopathic in how she dealt with her mistakes and shifted blame to the customer. It was so remarkably unprofessional. read more

I rarely write any reviews, but I have been coming to this pharmacy for eight years... as any place of course sometimes they are slow or disorganized but usually the whole staff are really nice and friendly specially pharmacy staff and Omar... however every time I have been coming here lately I am seeing an employee named Ronald.... As a matter of fact and like I mentioned earlier I rarely take time reviews... but believe it or not this guy has been on my nerves since the very first time he started.... He is the most rude person I have ever met in the entire customer service world so far... not even once, he provided a good customer service or smiled... I can understand people might have bad days at times but not every single time... he is unbelievably disrespectful not even with my own experience I am saying that because I have witnessed other experiences for him with other customers... Cory (tall gentleman usually working the drop off area) is by far the most professional and kind hearted pharmacist I have ever met. Always helps me with no judgement or any of that. Always acknowledges my presence when he sees me (something that does not happen at other pharmacies ever) so I just would like to acknowledge how grateful I am for people like Cory. This pharmacy comes off incredibly disorganized. There is always some hiccup in getting my prescription (not a new prescription). Not everyone is incompetent or rude but Rita, in particular, is. She may have been having a bad day but I wish she was more communicative. She apparently said "counsel" or something like that. She did not say anything to me after she gave me my I.D back. (I did not know what she was talking about.) The pharmacist came over a few minutes later and asked what she (pharmacist) was doing. I had to tell the pharmacist "I don't even know... she (Rita) just left and didn't tell me why I was waiting for." This is only one example of the chaos at this pharmacy. read more

I wish they had an option for zero stars. The Pharmacist here is absolutely the worst person, pharmacist I've ever had the terrible unfortunate of running into. Every single time I have been in here, she meets you with terrible judgment and lies. She uses run-around language such as "I can't fill this due to DEA issues and today it was, I will fill this today (only after 25 minutes of "discussion" with her & being told no four times) but not again (I didn't have any more refills THANK GOD) because "it's the law". What law?? Filling a legitimate prescription from a UCLA internist??? Her name is Grace. (oh the irony) I came in today on day EIGHTY EIGHT of a 90 day prescription and she tries to tell me they won't fill until three days from now. Interesting, because the CVS app specifically tells you when the RX is available for refill. I ask her about that and she says the APP and what CVS wants them to do is different as she hides behind the wall, she is short, this way she can spew her lies without having to face you in the eyes. She also hides behind her broken English. She tries to tell me (because she's going by the day I got the last rx filled, the 16th) that I have to wait until the 14th (they only fill two days prior). HMMMMM, lets count that December and January have 31 days. Does she think I'm going to walk away and believe her lies? The prescription one month ago, same run-around, finally says "let me see if I can force it through." And of course, it works. She also adds, next month, I may not be able to force this through. I wonder if she would like to sit down with me and hear my medical issues that I have been seeing the same psychiatrist for over three years with that has FIFTY years of experience in Los Angeles and Ventura County. Would she like to help me through the recent suicide of a great friend. How about any issues I am facing as a single mom. Or one of the top five most stressful careers??? This woman needs to be demoted to pharmacy tech or PREFERABLY FIRED. I watched her over and over and over do this to other customers and they all had the same reactions as me. Moving back to the Walgreens off of Newhall Ranch/McBean where they are professional, WAY FASTER and keep their judgements to themselves. GRACE IS THE WORST IN THE BUSINESS. I am home ill with a cough and fever. Doctor ordered antibiotics and cough medicine. I was notified that script was ready but only the antibiotic was. CVS said we will have it tomorrow. Sent my son back the next day they still don't have it and have no timeline on when they will get it. A good pharmacy would take the next step and call other CVS pharmacies in the area and see if they have it available....they did not and trying to speak to someone is almost impossible. I found a pharmacy in town that has the medication and asked my doctor to call a new one in seeing CVS will not help with the transfer. I will never use them again. read more

So I just got done with a 30 minute walk walking over to CVS to pick up my prescription that my doctor called in this morning I tried calling to make sure it was ready ahead of time but of course I was left on hold for 20 minutes I finally hung up and figured I better start walking since it was close to closing time. After waiting in line I finally get to the front and I get a worker with an exasperated attitude saying that my prescription was held and did I not call first? I explain to her that I tried and was put on hold and I couldn't wait any longer so I walked over. She asked for my insurance card we are new to this pharmacy since our beloved RiteAid closed and I thought ahead to bring it with me thinking they may ask even though my husband was there to pick up medications over the weekend and was not asked for an insurance card. So that again with the exasperated attitude she says to wait here and the pharmacist will fill it now so we stood around for another 10 minutes only to be told that the prescription we were picking up needed a prior authorization. I explained to the pharmacist that the prior authorization was already approved all the way through 2021 and that it should be on file with my medications and everything else that came over from RiteAid she said it's not and the doctor needed to fill out a new PA. On my walk home I called my insurance company and they looked in the CVS Caremark website and could clearly see the prior authorization on file the representative had no idea why CVS could not pull that same information and not inconvenience a customer. Pretty sure this is going to be our first and last month with them they are absolutely dreadful in their customer service. Another customer who was standing around waiting for her prescription to be filled finally asked the pharmacist how much longer it would take and the pharmacist replied oh your prescriptions already you just need to get back in line and pay for it!!!! Mind you she was standing 6 feet in front of the pharmacist the whole time she was waiting but the pharmacist didn't think to tell her that important piece of information! Avoid this pharmacy at all cost unless you have all the Time in the world to put up with their jerking around. read more

I was searching for protein powder and before I could find where it was, one of the girls asked if I needed help. Sure enough I did because I couldn't find it haha. Um, my advice is skip this store. I came in for three things and guess what? They were out of all three of them. They did have a load there that looked like they had just finished throwing, but after asking the shift supervisor if they had what I needed (sunscreen, greeting cards and lotion) she said basically they had one of the sunscreens but "who knows where it is, you are probably better off going to the CVS on McBean". unfortunately ive had the dreadful experience of having my medications sent to the pharmacy here... let me tell you, this is the absolute worst pharmacy i have ever had to deal with. S L O W. they asked for my birthday three times and i complied until 5 minutes later when they told me i wasnt in the system before asking for my date of birth for the fourth time. i waited another 5 minutes and a polite and handsome young man brought out my prescription but did not hand it to me, instead told me i had to wait to 'speak to the doctor'... this was only my 2nd time picking up here and they did this exact thing to me last time where they make me wait to speak to an asian lady doctor who asked me if i had taken this medication before to which i told her i had been on this medication for years i just moved and had to change my pharmacy location. so i waited to "speak to the doctor" which ended up being 10 more minutes of staring at my prescription on the counter and wanting to leave. the doctor finally comes out asks if its my first time on the meds i say no and she says im good to go and laughs as im walking away. how is that funny? you did this to me last time. just give me my meds and let me continue my day in peace. read more

Walked in to the pharmacy to pick up prescription and saw 3 ladies working, i stood in line for about good 10 minutes, until they actually said they will be right with me. Really? Come on now. This is unacceptable. They should have said that right when I walked up. So after 10 minutes passed a lady came and asked what I needed I told her the name n dob, she said she didn't have them and I made sure what kind of medicine that was on order. Lady never came back for another 25 munutes and then made me wait another 30 minutes to get it filled coz it wasn't ready. Are you fvcking serious? This place needs to revamp their employees. This is probably the worse pharmacy you'll ever go to. They actual pharmacist, Sophie, is rude and uncaring. Grace has always been kind and courteous. We have to suffer in pain because she wants to play games. My wife underwent surgery and had a handwritten prescription from the doctor but she she would not refill. She had a hand handwritten prescription for me, I just underwent back Surgery and am completely out of medication. And would not refill my prescription either. She's treating us like drug addicted freaks or something. I'd like her to her deal with the pain we are dealing with right now. The good thing is, we have options. There are 3 other CVSs near us. We will not be going back to this pharmacy if it was the last one open in Santa Clarita. We will drive down to Northridge of we have to. Stay away. read more

I use to like this pharmacy but after several bad experiences I've decided to switch after over 10 years as my go to drug store. When their pharmacists go to lunch and it could be at any hour even at 6 pm when you go and pick up your prescriptions their is no one to counsel you. So you are out of luck. Also they notify you when your prescription is ready but then when you show up they are not there. If they don't have your proper prescription they also substitute at their own convenience not yours. There are plenty of other pharmacies to go to in this town and almost one on every corner. I too was short of pills prescribed. Be sure to count your pills from this CVS. I never considered this until reading other fellow Yelpers reviews on this CVS Pharmacy. read more

I went to get a flu shot this morning. I arrived at the pharmacy five minutes before they opened and was the first customer of the morning. I presented my insurance card and was told to have a seat. Sophie, Grace, and Cory in the pharmacy are amazing and have helped me out on several occasions when I've been super sick. They always ask how me and my family are.
