My first stop was the cookie section, where I picked up a package of The Big Chunk Cookie Minis. A very nice gentleman named Dave told me they were a best seller and mentioned that the chocolate morsels were dark chocolate--my favorite! When I got to self-checkout, I was having trouble scanning the package. Dave noticed, walked over, grabbed a black Sharpie, and wrote "FREE SAMPLE" across the top. Such a simple gesture, but it absolutely made my day. Naturally, I opened the cookies as soon as I got home, and they are truly some of the best cookies I've ever eaten! Thank you, Dave, for being so friendly, attentive, and generous--and for having excellent taste in cookies! I'll definitely be buying these again.
