Honestly the people that work here are all doing great. They got people folding clothes, hanging clothes, sweeping floors, a person taking carts off the parking lot and sanitizing them. They got a person at customer service. They got an employee for everything. Clearly they have a great team working hard maintaining the store while servicing customers. The employees that work here value their job by putting in hard work and giving great service. Nickolas who is team leader was doing excellent . He was multitasking at the registers, helping customers and an employee who I believe needed help at his register while tasking another employee at self check out and just doing an excellent job especially since there was a crazy amount of traffic around 8:30 pm on Sunday. He gave great service to the customer ahead of me and myself as well. I hope he's getting paid well for his job because he was doing a 3 mans job and quickly. The only problem i see with the store are the customers. Customers have no respect for the place they shop. An employee finish folding everything and I see a customer completely unorganized it. Its unfortunate that these employees have to work extra hard because some customers ruthless and just don't care. Took my disabled friend to this store to clothes shop. No electric carts available, used to have three. All sizes of clothes were mixed into each section. Long time customer, this is specifically for the tire and lube service. After reopened post lockdown, the people has turned considerably for the worse. When I had the order in hand the old lady pretended she didn't see it and had me waited for 10 minutes for the supervisor, possibly only because I didn't have the order number ready but had the message for tire arrival, for retaliation. Then the supervisor arrived and she changed her story and claimed I didn't show her the paper, lying in front of me. The mechanic also was very rude. When I questioned why he put on the new tire at front he just said he only followed orders, I told him I have gone through the same discussion with the supervisor (who was also impatient) who told me the best practice was putting the new tire at the back. Then he was considerably even more rude (yelled "what!" before I spoke a word) when I found that the tire pressure warning was on AFTER I took back the car, not until he found that he indeed didn't check tire pressure AT ALL (which I was charged for tire rotation and balance). This is the worst experience ever for this Walmart, which doesn't have the best service but I didn't find exceeding bad and rude before. Almost all the staffs have changed, only for the worse, the good ones are unfortunately gone. read more

Bad customer service, I had an awful experience today getting harassed by the man at the front door. Walmart does not have the right to stop someone for a receipt, and I am irritated by the fact that this store thought they had that right. There is nothing you need bad enough to waste your time at this Walmart. Lines wrapped around the store to check out. Poor signage, low selection, employees with pallets on every other aisle blocking you from half the store. Plus the customer clientele here rubs me the wrong way every time I step foot in this store. I am writing about the return department. If I can give a 0 star, I would. We purchase a kid's bike online, returned it August 28th. It took us TWO tries to return it because they required the original box, even that we had everything: the bike, the receipt, the online order, the order in the Walmart App. Then on Sept. 9th, we tried to use the gift card, it did not work at all. So I came back on 10th to sort all this out. I came at 9:55am and am still here now at 10:49am. The giftcard has $0 in it at all. The online system showed there was no return. They cannot find the return transaction in their system since they did not return to our credit card but gave us an empty giftcard. It took us total of 3 hours (first trial on 28th) and now 1 hour and this still cannot be fixed. The time, labor, effort and patience to just return a bike is not worth the only SLIGTHLY lower price of the bike if we have bought it at Target.com Please make sure you really have a return correctly. This is completely unprofessional and not a good customer service. read more

The manager of the walmart in Pleasanton on Rosewood drive should be fired. Employees here have no training and no supervision. I have seen open food on the shelves (ice cream, chips, etc), bathroom are completely disgusting - they currently have the bathrooms by the entrance closed, back bathrooms are disgusting with the womens room closed, both urinals out of service, one toilet closed and the other two, literally, with poop on the floor. Stocking happens at all hours of the day with pallets and boxes of merchandise littered down the aisle. Reluctantly went there today to find a kettle bell and had a ridiculous experience with a cashier. We stood in line patiently, no big deal, I get it that the lines can get out of control. We get up to being next and the cashier (register #4 @5pm on Saturday, July 16th, 2022) told us that they were closed. We go to the next line. She then proceeds to ring up another customer that got in line after we moved. Then they ask the people behind us if they want to be helped. My wife tries to go back to the line since this lane is obviously open and the cashier says, "not you". Both of the people the cashier decided to help were of the same skin color and we are not. This was absolutely 100% a racist action toward my wife, two children and myself by this employee idc what they say. Like I said, fire this manager. I would fire that cashier as well. read more

This Walmart is very close to my work so I usually try to hit it right before I go home if I need product. I will say I do like buying name brand items such as Tide, Cascade, Dawn and paper towels etc at a lower price without losing the brand name. That is the number one reason I do come here. The overall appearance is neat in most isles and they carry everything from frozen items to summer items. I did notice today they have a pretty large auto area as well. It's pretty cute if you have little kids because they have the cutest little fish isle. I also like to buy sweet potato treats for my dog. I haven't been able to find them anywhere else and they are her favorite. I don't really understand why this place got such low ratings? I went to Walmart to buy yarn and sketchbooks for gifts. I had spent extra time in the store making sure the sketchbooks were in mint condition before buying them. The regular lines were long so I waited in the self checkout line but I was directed to a cashier to checkout instead of a self-checkout machine (what's the point of the self checkout line then???) and the employee not only damaged the sketchbooks by flinging them around in the cart carelessly but he also stained the side edges with ink. I didn't notice this until I got home so I can't even go back to return them as it's a crazy long drive. This is incredibly infuriating. And now almost $40 of sketchbooks are marked with receipt ink on the sides for crying out loud. I can't even wash it off as they're made of PAPER and receipt ink doesn't wash off of paper. God. I will go back to shopping at Amazon and pay extra there as their customer service is worlds better than Walmart. I will shop at any store that is not Walmart from now on. I'd rather pay 2-3x markup than give any of my money to this Walmart store. I am probably the most low maintenance customer - I know exactly which items I am going to buy before even heading to the store, I find the items myself, I don't bother the employees or make a mess or beg for discounts. Although not really the fanciest or the most glamorous, you have to admit that Walmart stores offer products at very competitive prices. Besides, one thing I like about this super store is that it carries so much stuff from groceries to clothes and to electronics! My family and I used to walk around this store just to kill time and check out stuff, just for fun. At daytime during the weekend, the store might get crazy busy, just FYI, and the lines at the checkout could be long (and slow-moving). But a few years ago this store decided to do some upgrade and added some self checkout stations and I honestly think that protect really paid off, as now I could just use the self checkout and be out the door in no time. The store, however, often gets a bit messy and disorganized though. I understand it's a big store but it certainly impacts my general impression of the store. We rarely come here since we normally like Costco and Target (though their data breach is a bit disturbing). * The store has a good sized parking lot and seems clean for the most part. Wide aisles. Dressing rooms awkwardly located in a central location. * They are one of the few locations that sell Blue Diamond Oven Roasted Almonds with Dark Chocolate - absolutely addictive and healthy in moderate quantities! Most stores got the wasabi and sea salt flavors but dark chocolate rules them all IMHO. * Clothing, especially yoga and exercise gear seems cheaper here. We just loaded up from a sales in Sears at Stoneridge Mall and Walmarts regular price were lower. * Garden section is like Home Depot's. They have good deals on Snake Plants (natural indoor air purifier and looks cool too) but we wound up buying a little money tree. Would definitely come back for the special almonds! read more

This review is for the tire center only. I ordered tires online and went in to pick them up and have them installed. The tire center opens at 7 am on Saturday. I arrived at 630 am and was second on line. There were two guys working tires that morning. I was only getting two tires installed, no rotation, no oil change or any other services. Should be 30 or 40 mins right? Wrong. I got my car back 2 hours later. Everything seems fine with the tires and I got a good price that included rotation in the future, but the wait was ridiculous. Wasted a good portion of my morning. No real issues besides the wait time with no one in front of me. read more

He started yelling at me to move my car and to park at customer lot and I ask him do you needed to scan my barcode, but again he very obnoxious. When I was young, I use to go to the Wal-Mart Tire & Lube Express Center to save some money on my oil changes. After numerous negative experiences, I've never returned. The first few times I use to come here the oil changes were extremely cheap at less than $17, but the wait would be about 1.5 - 3 hours. Slowly the prices would go up about a dollar a year. Then there was one time that they installed a faulty screw, where all the oil spilled onto my driveway the next day. I did get a refund afterwards; but throughout the years, the wait was still as long and the price was no longer cheap. Why the heck would I pay normal prices for this type of service? Since I'm no longer a starving young individual, I'm more than happy to pay a little more to get my oil changes at a more respectable business. As for their store; I stopped asking their employees for help because they can NEVER answer any of my questions. Plus, you get what you pay for. I ordered tires for my car to be installed by Walmart when they came in. I got a notice saying that they were in and I had an appointment for 1 o'clock to have them installed. At 11 o'clock I received a text saying that my appointment has been canceled due to parts. My tires were there, so I had no idea what they were talking about. I tried for 30 minutes to get through to someone in the store, and it just rang and rang and rang. Finally someone in the pharmacy answered because I had tried every other extension available, and she tried to get a manager to answer, and no manager would answer. Then I get an email telling me to call to reschedule my appointment.!? How would I call to reschedule my appointment when NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE?! It's about 15 miles from my home so now evidently I'll have to waste my time and gas to go cancel my order since I've since gone elsewhere to get tires! read more

Review on customer service: I ordered an item online (marketplace) , and it stated I could return in store. Little did I know, not even the website said that they weren't accepting returns in store! I walked in, read the sign and this RUDE employee yelled out "NO RETURNS". I said ok and quickly asked her how I should return my item, she also scoffed saying "I don't know, no returns". Worst customer service, didn't even argue with her yet she proceeded to be rude. Another experience was, when my mom was shopping (there were no signs yet) she was still keeping her distance but started putting her items on the checkout belt. If I could give this Walmart 0 stars I would. I understand COVID set businesses back, people are overworked and underpaid. However, this place is a crap show. Incredibly rude staff, lines are usually back to the store because they never have someone at a register, and it's a mess with items all over missing price tags/returned gross items. We waited over 35min for self check out with over 30+ people in line, no other registers opened. When a woman in front of us asked politely if someone could open the register, the employee said "not my problem." I ended up putting my stuff back because it wasn't worth it.
