Ridiculous! Long line, not enough people working or should i say.. Is there anybody works here besides the 4 cashiers?

The store is ok but do not call if you want a question answered over the phone. You might as well try prank calling the White House. In store customer service is only a tad bit better. Probably because the associates can't put you on hold... Then again, good luck finding one that is not at the registers. read more

On November 7th, 2014 I stopped by here Friday late afternoon to buy boys socks. The thing about socks I noticed, you can't try them on BEFORE buying, which to me sounds ridiculous and even more waste of time having to go back/forth due to wrong sizing. I saw this older women working between children's section, then she went off to work around the Men's dept. Folding and placing jeans neatly back on the shelf between 4:10 pm to 4:30 pm as she lazily sat on the floor to do this task. She was short, her hair was short, wore glasses, due to age, she was very wrinkly and Hispanic nationality. Our conversations: Me: "Excuse me." Women: [She looked up, but didn't make any eye contact] Me: "My son currently wears boys shoe in size 2 so how do I go about finding the correct size for socks? I mean, it's NOT like he can try on these socks because there in a package. See??" Women: "What?" Me: [Repeated the same question] Women: "Go ask somebody else!!" Me: "You're not going to help me?" Women: "There's another employee in another dept, go ask them." Me: "Wait, you're NOT going to help me??" Women: "GO ASK SOMEBODY ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!" Me: [stared AT her in shock!!] Do YOU know what I did you may ask?? And, I have NEVER done anything like this in ANY store, EVER, but .. out of FRUSTRATION!! .. I walked back to the boys section, taking the matter into my own hands as I started ripping the first packaged socks right open so my kid could try them on. No WAY I'm wasting MY time having to drive back to that damn store just to exchange when I could let my kid try on a pair of socks BEFORE buying them like it was a pair of shoes. First pair I picked up, turned out to be too small so I got the next size up, which was Medium. I ripped the package right open, which thankfully was a perfect match!! So, I bought 2 packs + happy too!! I walked up to the cashier, ready to pay for both. Young girl: "I'm sorry, this package of socks seem to be open already." Me: "Don't be. I was the one who opened them up to make sure they were the right size for my kid, save MY time from having to come back to the store for an exchange." Young girl: "Ah, I see." I left happily, after my purchases, but that other Walmart employee still irks me when I think about her!! Overall, if you are one of those people who MUST try on before buying, go right ahead. Obviously, Walmart staff does NOT care. The only products I won't try on BEFORE buying are under garments like panties. That's just gross NOT just for ME, but to others. With innocent as a pair of socks, we should have our own rights to be able to try them on like we do with a pair of shoes. I noticed, Walmart employees here are hit or miss just like any other places you would go in life. read more

If you ever just wanted a parking space or just to park. This Walmart is the place to go and hang out. Apparently it is the place to park your RV, BUS or Boat if you have one. I have no idea why but it attracts all kinds of random vehicles and people. Like any other Walmart, this place is big and you can buy a lot of stuff. read more

This store is a hot mess. Always a shit show. The MOST unorganized Walmart! Always a mess. The isles don't make sense. Also you have a plus size department so why the need to overstock XXL, XXXL in the regular department? Never enough small or medium sizes. Especially the leggings. This store is so horrible. Most of their items are always out of stock. The store is poorly managed. The entry way smells like a sewer. Please fix that!. Most of the employees doesn't know where things are. The aisle is so crowded of stocks and employees re-stocking stuff. It's a safety hazard. Then today, I had a bad experience with an employee named Girthy. She was so rude. I think she was unhappy with her job, but that is not my problem. I asked her on where can I find a wedding card and she just told without looking in my eyes "I don't know mam, if it's not here, we probably don't carry it." And then she just left. I'm like whoah! Walmart superstore in Pleasanton California most disgusting filthy restrooms I have ever seen. Fitting rooms closed so you can't try on a lousy tee shirt but during this time of germs and viruses the restrooms are the most unsanitary dirty I have ever been in! The employees don't care to talk to you. Don't talk to them, just find your stuff and leave. About the tire department, i bought my tires from sam's club and it's suppose to be warranted there. However, they told me that my paperwork had a different format, so therefore i'm ineligible for service. Came in to this place about a month ago looking to buy a watch. Found one I liked, but It was too loose. I asked the lady behind the counter if she could remove a few links so I could see how it felt fitted to my wrist before I bought it. After messing with it for about 10 minutes she said that "the watch wont let me take any more links off". No body else was available to help, so I just left.. Fast forward to a few days ago.. I came in AGAIN hopefully to have better luck with a watch. (Yeah, watches at walmart, i know lol). I found one that I liked that was decently priced. But again, it was too big for my wrist. Asked the lady (a different lady this time) if she could adjust it, but this time she said I had to buy it before she made any adjustments. I told her what happened last time i came in, and asked if she WAS SURE she could adjust it if I were to buy it. She said yes, So I bought it. Guess what.. The same thing happened. After a boring 20 minutes of waiting, she comes back and says that she cant adjust it. Another lady tried, but again, no luck. My only option then was to return it. Not wanting to, I asked for a manager. After walking around for bit, I found assistant manager Joyce. While explaining to her what happened, she abrubtly just turns away, starts yelling at another eployee, and walks away.. WTF lol. So i have to follow her, get her attention again, and start over with what I was telling her. Knowing I have to pay out of pocket to have someone adjust my watch, she says to bring my receipt back and they will refund my the costs. At least she came up with a workable solution. Next time, dont walk away when someone is explaning an Issue though. Went to the mall, paid $12, and 30 seconds later, my watch was fitted. Shout out to Charming watches lol. read more

I know you're supposed to hate these giants corporations, but Walmart (even with the horrid smell of despair and stale fries from the attached Mickey's) makes it difficult to do that because of the prices. It's honestly dirt cheap here. The quality of their stuff doesn't look top-notch, and this specific one is pretty dirty and unorganized, but you can't beat the damn prices. read more

Wow this place stinks!Literally. When you walk in the front door you are immediately accosted by the stench of fences and sewage. This does not bode well for McDonald's, which is situated directly next to the front door. The clerks, while doing their job stocking shelves, are always in the way. Frequently during the early afternoon there is no produce. The cosmetic section since the reconfiguration is ridiculously small and impossible to get in/out of. I went today after months of not shopping there and now I remember why I stopped. Even the customers are rude, blocking every aisle and taking their 'stroll through the store'. I was at checkout with my purchase checking the price of an item that was on clearance with a number of the same items the girl ran it up at the check stand for $5.00 and then told me it wasnt for sale, I cant sell it to you. If i saw a manager I would have discussed the issue with her but she never came. This isn't the first time I really want something and not able to get it for some unknown issue. read more

I've never had to wait long in the lines here. This Walmart always seems to be empty. I'm able to get in and out quickly. Then again, I always come pretty late, when they're about to close. I was on a hunt to look for sweatpants during summer. Crazy summer... it got so cold and rainy this year, I needed sweatpants! I looked everywhere... and this was the only location to have sweatpants! Just for that you get an extra star. read more

Honestly, not bad at all. Our employee was pretty friendly. Store was pretty clean and organized. Everything is priced well as I'd expect, and this place met my expectations for any Walmart. There aren't a whole lot of foodstuffs or groceries here though. This location isn't the newest location and resembles the Walmart that used to be around my house about 10 years ago which was recently renovated. But like I said, Walmart is Walmart. read more

I have been here many times and this place is quite a mess. You will find things that come out from nowhere, doesn't belong to any category or you will see one thing this time and you won't be able to find it again when you come back later. Their restocking is very slow too. So I rarely bought anything from this store until a couple months ago that I bought something for my camping trip. However if I wrote a review based on that experience, I would give it only one star. Why? Because their return service was suck! When I was there to return, there were about 4 customers in front of me. One lady who actually had a cart-full of stuff to return and she had a envelope full of receipts. Was she out of her mind? DIdn't she think when she shop? After 20 minutes standing in line, there were already more than ten people waiting behind me. The two women working there were in slow motion, and the other two were just wandering around... So be prepared to wait in line for at least 15-20 minutes or even longer if you want to return something. After that experience, I didn't go back until recently and I had better experience because I didn't need to return anything. I started to like this store (except the parking) because their price is really cheaper than other stores after comparing. It doesn't have everything but it has good savings on a lot of baisc items like bread, mouth wash, snacks, can soup etc. I would definitely go back but will only buy things I know for sure I won't return. read more

First, it depends on what you're looking for in a shopping experience. (I'm a Target shopper for forever) I noticed a lot of negative reviews.... so I'm not writing this to bash Wal-Mart... Yes, they do have cheap prices. The store is sometimes dirty, but with as much traffic as the stores gets, that can be expected. My only complaint, which has made Wal-mart famous in the education world -- is their supply chain. They pride themselves on having "just in time inventory" ... always having the product on the shelf. However, this Wal-mart is consistently out of stock on a lot of branded items. From orange juice, to certain make-up, to shaving razors, to bottled water, etc... It is kind of frustrating. Besides those few things, they do have the cheapest prices around. read more

This location is convenient for me to go to if I know I can't make it out to do my errands after work. Good prices & has most of the necessities you need for your home. There's also a Red Box here if you wanted to rent $1 movies, that's a plus! read more

Love walmart. Hate the parking lot. If you can avoid the walkway between the store entrance and the parking lot I would. People are constantly walking in and out of the store. It's so frustrating. I hate shopping at Walmart, because I know what their business practice is, but it is just so convenient and can we all agree that the economy forces us to go to places like this now. haha Anyway, I give this place two stars, because without fail I always end up being here for AT LEAST 45 minutes. This is not because I am shopping but because of how slow the cashiers are... at any time of day, at any cash register.... what is up with that?! It takes the cashier a minimum of ten minutes PER customer, regardless if its one product of 30 things. It just doesnt make any sense. I give them 3 stars because they literally have everything at this Walmart and it's relatively clean, not a lot of "People at Walmart" haha Their prices are always the best (but c'mon, it's WALMART!) lol.. I always feel guilty after shopping here, but what can you do? Their McDonalds express located in the store is great though and their french fries are ALWAYS fresh. We came here to see what Black Friday deals they still had (since I hit Target during the morning for their doorbusters). I was pretty impressed that even on such a busy day, the place wasn't a complete wreck. They had a bunch of good deals on DVDs, which were priced using a color sticker system. I thought this was a good idea, but when my dad tried to get a DVD that was marked as $5, he had to get a manager to override the price when it rang up for $10. At least they honored their mistake, but it was a bit of a hiccup during our visit. Overall, I'm not usually a fan of Walmarts because of the quality of some of their products, but they're a nice cheap option to have around and the manager during our visit had good customer service. read more

I'm going to start off giving this Walmart a 5 star, yes, FIVE. But the caveat, it's for the pharmacist. Not sure how many they employ but on a Saturday morning, went there to get some allergy meds and was unsure what to get. The pharmacist came out and pointed out the items and was very thorough in addressing questions I had. Yeah for the pharmacist! The employees are not helpful much. You kind of just need to know what you're getting and you better know where it is already. That brings Walmart down to 4 stars. Now what brings it down to 3 stars is the culture that exudes from Walmart. We all know there's a culture there, so much so there is a "people of Walmart" website. You know when you go to Target, you put on your crystalized flip flops with your pretty toes. When you go to Walmart, you put on your really cheap flip flops with your "just removed nail polish" toes. And of course, there's always a colorful collection of customers. Like the crazy, "belly-hanging out of her short shirt" lady who was hovering over my children saying she liked children(as she licked her lips, preparing to eat them!!) Hers are grown children in her teens but she said her belly hanging gut was from pregnancy. Uh lady....I think you can't use that excuse anymore, you are 13 plus years from your last pregnancy. I really thought she wanted to eat my little one, it was the look in her eyes! Yet, I still go to Walmart because they have cheap stuff and since they started to lose money, looks like they will start to be competitive in pricing again. But I think that means the crazies will come out again! read more

Based on a 1x experience here, I felt the place was cleaner and less cluttered than the two other south bay WalMarts I frequent. I didn't converse with any of the employees or the customers; I went in, walked around, got my stuff, paid, and left. The cashier clerk was nice, then again it was Halloween night and Walmart had some costume event that was announced over the PA. The parking lot was large, fairly empty for a weeknight. There was a Camry in the back corner with front end damage that someone just left there. read more

I used to love Wal-mart, but this one just doesn't seem as good as the one in Livermore. Maybe it's the big crowds and not so friendly employees. I do like the fact that I can get my oil changes and random house hold goods for a cheap price as I can't always go to IKEA for everything. Bria in customer service needs to take a course in customer service and how to talk to customers. She is extremely rude and makes no effort to assist the customer. I arrived at 8:03 pm to do an even exchange of a damaged item. She said "customer service closes at exactly 8 pm, you'll have to come back tomorrow." No "I'm sorry, no nothing! I explained that I checked stores hours before driving out and there was nothing on website that customer service closes before the 11 pm store closing time. She said "register is all locked up." She refused to call the store manager when I requested. She refused to make any attempt to try resolving the issue. She had a flippant attitude when I again tried to explain the issue. She refused to give her name nor was she wearing a badge that had her name. When she continued to ignore me, I went and spoke to a young lady at another register who smiled and called the manager to assist me with the exchange. Unfortunately I did not get this young lady's name. Kudos to her! She knows how to treat customers. The exchange was done by this young lady as Bria again refused to do it even after the manger on duty requested she do the exchange. By the way, there was no "unlocking" of the register. I am giving this store one star based on my experience with Bria. She shouldn't be a customer service rep with the attitude she displayed. read more

Walmart's Auto dept is excellent! Awesome variety of products for cars, trucks, and even boats! I found lower unit gear oil for my outboard boat engine without driving all the way out to Livermore for a boat shop. And for everyday car maintenance you can't beat the prices! Oil + oil filter cost me less than $20 out the door. At my local auto parts store I usually pay $34. read more

I use to really enjoy shopping at this Walmart; now not so much. I came into this location in the middle of the day thinking I could get in and out fast. Who was I kidding? How can you run a store with only two cashiers? One helping a line that snakes the front of Walmart and the other one manning self check out which has another line snaking the front of the store. Having a self check out station should not cause management to not adequately schedule actual cashiers especially during the busy holiday season. The only good thing I can say about today's visit is the great customer service the cashier (Dilip) gave me. He apologized profusely for the long wait time as well as for the lack of additional cashiers. If it wasn't for his customer service Walmart would only get one star. read more
