I've never encountered such an unpleasant experience in any store ever. Went to this horrible Walgreens today and found some good deals, one item was toilet paper listed for $3.75 with coupon. I've been to this Walgreens before and there was a male cashier with excellent customer service but on this day there was only one cashier who I found out her name is Dolores. Once I got to paying she already had such a bad attitude. I first asked her for a price check for a hair product when I told her I did not want it she already became agitated. She then takes my other item to scan which is the toilet paper advertised for 3.75 special with coupon. Every Walgreens I go to they are always happy to add the coupon well this mean cashier tells me I'm wrong and it's 5 dollars and not 3.75. I then go back to double check and it was 3.75. I tell this mean Dolores lady that the tag is advertised for 3.75. she then starts yelling at me in the store making a scene and treating me with total disrespect. I've never been treated this way. She was going crazy. I ask to speak to a manager who did not reprimanded her behavior. He did not even apologize. Who hires these people??? He then tells me that she came in on Sunday as if she didn't want to be there. He was so clueless trying to look for the coupon. I finally just tell him to forget it. All the while this crazy cashier Doloris is going bizirk raising her voice at me. Never did this so-called manger stop her behavior. This is not ok to teach customers like this. I called the corporate office to complain. Dolores if you do not like your job look for another one. No one should have to deal with this behavior. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! Walked in to buy a bottle of Garnier face cream for my wife. It was selling for $14.75 So I decided to check other competitors for prices. Amazon was selling it for $7.00! CVS selling it for $11.75 Walmart $11.75 Target $11.75 so I asked the very nice and courteous cahier if they price match and she informed me that they don't even price match their own website.... WOOOOOOWWWWWWW So I got onto Amazon prime, ordered 3. I live 3 minutes from this store and I do want to support my local store albeit a mega billion dollar chain store. So what. They employ local people like the very nice cashier and it's the right thing to do. But it is pure financial stupidity to pay $14.75 for something I got for $7 By the way, I did not even ask to match Amazon. I wanted a price match with Walmart or CVS. But I do understand their policy and although I don't agree with it, I respect it. Having said all that, I am done with Walgreens and will be transferring out all my prescriptions. I had written my original review before I tried their pharmacy. Horrible customer service, but sadly I'm not surprised at all. They made me park and come inside w/o realizing that some people actually come here FOR the drive thru. I come inside and I'm stuck waiting in a long line. Finally they help me, but I had to wait another 20 min to get my meds... Jonathan (I think that was his name) was really rude to another customer who was waiting for them to get a hold of his doctor. Poor guy asks if the tech is getting in touch with the doctor and he rolls his eyes at him saying she's working on it. Just as expected, another major chain drug store that sucks! You could tell the employees aren't happy and are just doing the bare minimum to get by. Management really needs to wake up and make some major changes. Rude employees and very bad customer service. I waited there for 25 minutes to ask someone a question no one acknowledged. They just walked by and pretended they didn't see me. Even i tried to go up to them and ask my question they just walked away really fast and went to the back of the store. Parking here sucks!! Walgreens photo: A young Hispanic lady was very nice and helped me get the right size for my photo frame. She was very patient and helpful. I came here today and a white lady helped me. She wasn't as nice as the other lady but helped me as well. Note: order your photos online/ app because it takes over 30 minutes. Every time I come here there is always something wrong with the system. Size: They have a lot of different photo sizes. I ordered a photo book online . This store is far from my house , but online info said the one close to my house, it will take 48hrs. I ordered from this location and since it's far I have my daughter pick it up for me. I paid it online and charged on my card. When my daughter get there the photo album is not even ready and they have to charge her card , sad my card did not go thru. I checked the photo album and they are not glued together. I was so mad. I called the store next to my house in eagle rock , to see if they can glue it together. He said better to reorder it, it will be ready in 2 hours. And it was.. And they just exchange it. Right now I received a notice that this store where I pick up the first one still charge my card. So they did not even do a good job on my photo book and still charged me twice..that's why I give 1 star.. read more

I came here out of sheer convenience, even tho I should have known better because I had problems filling a prescription here before. The girl on the other side of the counter refused to fill my wife's much needed pain medicine because she said the doctor filled it out on the incorrect type of rx pad and began insulting an educated medical practitioners intelligence because of this supposed mistake. When I complained that she had given me the same trouble months before with a different doctor, same type of prescription , she told me to get over myself- she is the one that knows the law, not me. As I was losing my patience they begin closing the glass curtain 2 minutes earlier than they're scheduled to close, An elderly man comes up to pick up a rx he had dropped off. She begins berating him for not picking up earlier and waiting until they were about to close. She crossed out the meds she refused to fill and told me to go to another doctor to get another prescription written "the right way"- at 6pm on a Saturday.... Luckily the issuing doctor was able to write a new prescription THE EXACT SAME WAY and the 24hr Rite Aid on Glendale was more than happy to fill with no problem at all. Avoid this place like your life depends on (ESPECIALLY if your life depends on it). To the hateful little girl at the pharmacy - Just because you have the medicine that people need on your side of the counter, doesn't mean you get to treat people like garbage. Maybe find a job that doesn't require you to interact with people. read more

To Walgreens Pharmacy manager/supervisor: I would like to complain against one of your pharmacists named EDNA, who was so rude and lack courtesy towards customers. I called today to ask if a certain medication is available, and she said it is not. Because I forgot to tell that it was an oral liquid medication, I called again. However, I haven't finished my sentence yet, and this EDNA interrupted me and said, "you already called earlier and I said no!" in a very condescending manner! I believe that customers should not be treated that way, either on the phone or in person. I hope that the management will give her disciplinary action. read more

The rest of the store seems fine, it's clean, it's organized, it's what you expect. The pharmacy and those running it on the other hand is a literal nightmare. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it came out that they were railing lines of Oxy in the back every time they disappear for fifteen minutes looking for a prescription because LOL they never even come back with it! I swear to god I would drop dead if any of these pony tailed creeps (side: you're an adult, please get a real haircut) actually did their jobs when I needed them to. It has never taken me less than an hour and a half to get the one prescription I come in for. I have insurance, I'm here every month, I even call in beforehand to make sure it's ready-- yet somehow I'm always left more baffled by their incompetence than I was the time before. Ok, my Dr. faxed over my antibiotic for my eyes. They called me and told me that hey will not fill it unless they have the original prescription.. im like... uhm its my Dr that faxed over the Rx not me! Now i have to wait 1hr to get it filled. I worked at a pharmacy before and I don't remember that rule that your Dr cannot fax an RX thats not a narcotic. Maybe the rules changed or its just a wallgreens thingy? Don't go anywhere near them if you have a prescription for a controlled substance (even though it's not a pain medication) and they know you and have been filling it for you for years. They now have a SECRET CODE about picking it up. You can't have it every month....you can only have it 30 days from the date when you picked it from the previous month. Even in these days of COVID-19 when days out are not too often, I made the mistake of going through the drive thru 3 days AFTER my prescription text told me it was ready on May 1, but 3 days too EARLY to pick it up!!! I'd picked it up on April 6 you see and so I couldn't have it on May 3.....this is their SECRET way of dispensing prescriptions now.........YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.......oh, but your prescription bottle will still be labeled with the original date that you couldn't have it..... read more

Their phone system has been down for days and they are effectively unable to preform any refill verifications. When I went into store and asked about it, they just dodged the question and pretended there wasn't an issue and that my doctor's office had simply not contacted them. I went back around 5:30pm to find out that what I needed was not in stock and they would "probably" have the shipment come in on Friday. Located right next to the Trader Joe's, this is a great location for the people of Glendale who were forced to tolerate lackluster service at Rite-Aid for so many years. Great layout in the store with everything pharmacy related plus a nice selection of snacks and beverages. The store accepts Apple Pay however the drive through for some reason does not. read more

Yeah, It's great that they are wearing masks - they have to. However, this really has nothing to do with Covid. I keep forgetting - never EVER use their printing service. I just had holidays cards done here and when I picked it up, the card wasn't the greatest but I needed it right away and it was presentable. I also had envelopes with the return address printed that came with the price of the card. I hadn't thought to check the envelopes because who messes up envelopes?. This Walgreens, apparently. The return address is supposed to be printed on the back flap of the envelope. Sometimes it's in the upper left-hand corner but the back flap was what was offered. Well, they printed it on the front side just above center where the recipients address would go where no one would ever put the return address and I doubt the post office would even accept. I could white it out but that would look pretty sad. I wanted what I had ordered and paid for. I went back to the store and they had no more envelopes. So I was stuck with a bunch of cards and zero envelopes. They gave me my money back but that's not what I wanted. I wanted holiday cards. They ruined some calendars of mine a few years ago; my bad for thinking they could handle photo cards. I used a service and in return I got a huge pain in the butt and a lot of time wasted right before Christmas. Why do so many Walgreens suck in Los Angeles? read more

My wait time here is NEVER less than 10+ min. Even on hold on the phone. So frustrating. They are on the corner of Brand and Glenoaks for crying out loud - did they not anticipate being busy?? The store itself is fine, but I will never, ever deal with the heartless customer service in the pharmacy ever again. I walked up to an 'empty' pharmacy today to ask about over the counter cold medicine that would be good for earache pressure and congestion. I was surprised to get a stone cold look from the young woman on the other side of the counter. This is a first for me from any pharmacy. She asked if I have high blood pressure, and I told her 'yes, I do' (I take prescription medicine for it). She just stared at me and bluntly told me that there is nothing that I can take that is over the counter other than saline nose spray. Really? I did my own research when I got home. She was definitely wrong. What a terrible atmosphere at this pharmacy. I will be sticking to Walgreens in Burbank instead. More human customer service. read more

I'm giving their pharmacy and also the store one star because of my horrible experience with them not once but many times. My doctor sent a few meds to this pharmacy for me to pick up. I received a message from pharmacy to call them regarding insurance. I called them back and immediately my call went to hold for the next 45 minuets. I called the Walgreens store on a different line after 30 minuets of hold but I was shocked that even the person who picked up my call to see what was going on at the pharmacy, put me on hold for 15 minuets and then dropped my call. I was beyond upset. If you can't handle the number of customers with your current staff then hire either more employees or a more competent group. I have been coming here for 2+ years. Never had an issue, as I make sure all is okay with my prescription before I arrive, or if it's a written one, I am willing to wait to make sure. I think people forget that they have rules, and if something goes wrong, they're on the hook. I suppose if you're offended, grow thicker skin! Just Sayin'! HOWEVER!
