Vaccination appointment was useless! I specified two vaccinations when I made the appointment, a week in advance. I arrived, they made me wait 30 minutes past the appointment time before telling me that they had neither of the vaccinations I scheduled! I went to CVS as a walk-in, and they had both vaccinations available. Mission accomplished elsewhere. read more

There are many poor reviews on this Walgreens, especially the pharmacy. I don't share these sentiments based on my treatment today. I was able to walk in and be the first in line at the pharmacy. Someone said they would be right with me whom I thought was the pharmacist but then a tech walked in from his break and was able to switch my prescriptions and get one ready in 30 minutes. After a brief wait, I decided to use the drive through lane and a phone recording was sent, letting me know my prescription was ready. At this time, I will give 5 stars for taking care of an issue I thought would take several days. read more

I just had the friendliest cashier I've ever had check me out. She made every customer feel like they were valued and welcomed. I didn't get her name but she should be recognized (Walgreen's management can use this time stamp to find out who it was). Thank you for the great experience. The pharmacy is the worst one I have ever been to they ignore you while standing in line for service and once they respond they are arrogant and talk down to you. There are few nice ones at times but it is far and few when you get them. I am changing pharmacies but have been with them for a long time and have had the same prescription for 2 years and every month I go to get it they can only give me a partial and can pick up the remaining a couple days later. This time the same thing happened and they are charging me double my co-pay because they said it was to separate orders. I am just letting people know not to go here most of them have bad attitudes and should not be in customer service.I repeatedly ask for the store manager but always told they are not working that day so this issue will keep going with no one to talk to and correct the problem. read more

This was a great pharmacy at some point, within the last few months it has turn into a circus. I have been trying to get my prescription for 3 days, I tried calling and was on hold for 2 hours the first time and unsure of how many times I tried getting through. If you are trying to get great service you will not get it from this pharmacy. If you need a responsible pharmacy that you can trust to have your medications ready when you need them it will not be this place. I am now transferring to Publix pharmacy. Because now Walgreens is the new Eckerd, so sad. read more

I've stopped here to use the photo center to make prints and also develop some disposable cameras. Never really had a bad experience - usually in and out in a couple of minutes so can't really complain. Also gone here to get some cards for presents and birthday occasions. They have a good selection of Hallmark cards. Just like any other drug store, they have a ton of other merchandise that changes during the seasons. read more

I'm furiously mother went to pick up her medication and was told that someone else picked it up. Essentially, they gave her medication to the wrong customer. Their excuse was, they have the same name well my mother explained they may have the same name but not the same address or telephone number. She email manager Nicole Eastman and no one followed up with her. It wasn't until she Left a message on the complaint line that she received a call from someone in corporate. This is a violation of all sorts of HIPAA laws now someone has her medication and whatever private information is listed on the label of her medication the fact that no one called to even apologize or address the issue is completely unacceptable. read more

DISCLAIMER: This review is really for the PHARMACY portion of this Walgreens only. I must say, those heartwarming "hometown pharmacy" commercials you see on TV do NOT apply to this Walgreens. Good GOD. I believe they staple help wanted flyers to telephone poles and take the first unemployed shmucks that apply. I do feel bad for having to say that, honestly, but sheesh. There ARE two good pharmacy techs there, though, so that's their ONLY saving grace. I just wish I could remember their names so I could give them their due credit here. I realize I'm a perfectionist and have high standards, especially in the field of customer service, but shouldn't I at a PHARMACY of all places?!? One employee in particular @ this location (I don't know his name, otherwise I'd call him out) - he's the absolute worst. He's lost my prescription (yes, you read that correctly, LOST) by misplacing behind the counter somewhere MORE THAN once and lost my partner's Rx once (the only time he's had to use them since he never gets sick). He never knows how to use those marvelous Rx manufacturer discount cards and once just looked at me and said "oh well, I'm sorry" to a prescription that would have cost me apprx $60, but with the savings card was only FIVE dollars! He asked me if I wanted him to ask someone else if they could figure it out. STUPID QUESTION. Idiot. Etiquette would dictate he just DO that on his own w/o ever bring to my attention he didn't know what he was doing. The wait time here is almost always horrendous & a lot of that has to do with them being perpetually understaffed (and the economy cannot be blamed since this has been the case here for years). I suffer from migraines and often have something called in from my specialist in Greensboro as a "rescue." About a week ago this happened & they were instructed by the doc to fill IMMEDIATELY @ approx 11am. Know what time I was able to pick it up? THREE THIRTY that afternoon. FOUR HOURS of pain LATER! When I asked what the holdup was, I was just advised, in a rather curt manner, "well sir we've been busy." Love that level of concern. There is a new Walgreens opening very soon @ Harris & Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd. That's about equal distance from my house as this one. I pray that one will be 10x better than this one so I can say "screw you" to this hellatious pharmacy. I would go a bit further to the one at Harris & Tryon, but sadly, they're just about the same (but they do get my business if I need something filled after 10pm). If anyone has any suggestions regarding CVS or Riteaid (in the Univ/Northlake area), let me know - perhaps it's time for a new pharmacy altogether! I'd give the STORE portion 5 stars, but like I said at the top of this, I'm only rating the pharmacy. read more

Ok, as you see this place has a very low rating. That being said let me tell you why. 1) The Pharmacy is slow 2) The Pharmacy seems to have one regular employee, and everyone else rotates from anther Walgreen's. 3) The line in the front of the store has to go all they way back to the Photo section before they put someone on another register. 4) The place is like a dead spot for cellular service period. 5) They always run out of Shea Moisture Products (That is for my Wife and other Natural Women) That was basically the bad and ugly of this Walgreen's, the good is that everyone is willing to help you and polite. I love a business that has polite staff, so many have rude staff these days... You know what you are going to get price wise from any Walgreen's from here to CA. I went into this store today ONLY to get the $2.99 milk special they had. So I naturally assumed that I would be in and out in 10 min or less. However, I get in, get my milk and I'm in line for more than 10 min. There were 5 people in line and only 1 register open around 3pm. I efinitely would have thought it would have been a quick trip. Plus there's a CVS across the street that would have similar items. There aren't many Walgreens around, so it was convenience only. read more

Picked up a couple of things here. The cashier was extremely friendly. She told me that she liked my suit and that a promotion was on the way. I work for myself, but I'll take the positive outlook. We have been using Walgreen for film developing recently, and so far they are consistent. Consistently wrong. Every order we have left for developing has been lost, delayed or done incorrectly. 6 out of 6. The only reason I rated them 2 stars is because they are trying to correct the issue, and have been apologetic. Hopefully they will get their act together quickly. read more

S.L.O.W. They are SO slow! Went here twice within 2 weeks because it was the closest to my periodontist's office and I needed my meds right away. They took forever! My doctor had written my prescription with 1 refill. When I arrived the second time they swore they didn't have a refill on file. My doctor had to call them to tell them. The pharmacist was a bit rude. I went in to a buy a mouth guard, but there where so many options. I went to the back to ask for her help. She was in the middle of something at the time. When she stopped,she responded " I don't know, these are questions you need to ask your dentist. They don't train us on this." That response was very unprofessional. I called my mom who was in Walmart, and she asked the pharmacist there. That pharmacist was a lot more professional and helpful. A few minutes later the same pharmacist walked over to help another customer. Her theme wasn't polite. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what. But she definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. The other staff was exetremly polite as usual. read more

The Pharmacy is HORRIBLE. They have become slow as molasses over the years. I just had dental surgery and dropped off 2 prescriptions with a mouth packed full of gauze and was told it would take 1 1/2 hours. I asked if it could be ready any sooner and was told they'd do an emergency fill within 20 min. 1 hour later and I'm still sitting in my car waiting for the damn prescriptions as I change my gauze every 15 min in the car. Lead Pharmacist neglects his customers. Called in a refill on Monday, it's Friday and the prescription still has yet to be filled. Said they've left numerous voicemails with my doctor's office and faxed them as well. My doctor's office doesn't even have a voicemail and they have not received any faxes from them...my doctor's office does not "lose" their faxes (as stated by the pharmacist). Pharmacist had the audacity to laugh at the situation. Pharmacist has an attitude every time I've seen him, whether it's dealing with myself or other customers. No one forced him to become a pharmacist. Contacted the Store Manager to report and he handled the situation for me. Will never return and am transferring my prescriptions. read more
