It's quick, clean and friendly. It's closer to my house than Walgreens. Has the medicine at the pharmacy when Walgreens doesn't.

This is the worst CVS I have ever seen. It's dirty and clearly mismanaged. There are wooden pallets stacked inside the store entry. There is a table of dead Christmas plants directly next to the spot where the manager sits on a stool near the photo department. She's not helping at the checkout, she's just sitting there. There is a fully stocked FULL PRICE aisle of Christmas items, it's February. The Halloween candy is now marked at 50% off. Coolers have litter in them and aren't stocked. It's a disgrace. read more

I would give zero stars if possible., I couldn't review this pharmacy any lower. Horrible, horrible customer service. Super long line with everything locked up. You will have to ask for an attendant if you want to even buy shampoo. I had to deal with the pharmacy that wouldn't fill my prescription because my ID had been stolen, along with my purse. I had both my drivers license and passport photos in my phone but that wasn't sufficient. So I am set to not have my needed asthma and allergy medicine given to me because I have been the victim of theft. read more

If I could hang a sign outside to "go to any other pharmacy" I would. Customer service is non-existent. Nobody, and I mean nobody, will come to help you if you need a cabinet unlocked to buy product. And everything is locked up now. This is routine at this location. FWIW the pharmacy staff is fine. They're kind and helpful. But the store attendants are just abysmal. If you have the courage to actually approach them for help they'll either bark at you or not speak at all and do the bare necessity. The line is usually long at checkout because at least one of the self checkout machines is usually not working. I only gone here because I live so close but I will be changing that now after several awful experiences. They probably don't pay enough to hire decent help is my assumption. read more

Worst experience and rudest staff ever. They refused to re bill my prescription and told me to come back in 3 hours, and even then it wouldn't be ready. I tried to give them my rx card when I was there but they told me they couldn't do it at the moment. I was the only one in line. They need to fire their pharmacist immediately. There's one thing to be having a bad day but this lady was just straight up rude and couldn't care less about what I needed. read more

This CVS Pharmacy location is very convenient, as most stores are. At times, I stop at this store going to or from work or at other times. The store is quite large and has a wide variety of products available. I have never used the pharmacy at this location, but there is one and it seems to be fairly sizable with multiple pharmacists available. The store is conveniently located on South Blvd, next to the Einstein's Bagels. There is a parking lot for the store, so no issue with parking needs. Most times when I've been in the store, there is only one associate working the checkout line. Not the biggest issue, since it works for the amount of customer traffic. They are always friendly when assisting with checkout. read more

This CVS has so much to offer. The staff here is super welcoming and friendly. That matters. The people here are very upbeat and enjoy helping customers like me that get lost in the diaper section trying to find pencil erasers. I come here from time to time. These cookies are life changing and I discovered them here. They have a great card section here. Someone is keeping stationary and cards alive and I'm here for it. They have a lot of beauty tools and grooming gadgets and workout gizmos. This place is easy to spend a lot of money or time in. I always find some fun things to try here. Buy a card, buy some candy, buy a blood pressure cuff, or buy some cookies like me. They have everything. Maybe it's just me but I love finding so much fun stuff here. Maybe I'm just a nerd. Or maybe this store has genius stuff for every thing I need when I'm in a rush. I sound like an ad but I'm just a fan of this place. read more

The pharmacy has screwed up my order 2x in the past couple visits. I didn't notice my latest one they gave me one box instead of 2, and told me they couldn't give me the other one since a couple days have passed by. Ridiculous that they put the wrong quantity then proceed to say u need to wait over a week to get the next refill. read more

The shop might be open, but the pharmacy works different hours. You'll want to call in advance if you're headed here outside of the usual business hours. Tight parking lot with several "compact" spaces that seemed to have two SUV's and a big four-door when we popped in to get a prescription filled. Since the pharmacy was closed, we went elsewhere. This is the closest drugstore to my home, which is the reason I come here. The parking lot is small, congested, and always busy. The store is dated and often messy. It is common to have to wait a while at the primary checkout counter or at the pharmacy. I use this pharmacy, and the staff are helpful but often seem overwhelmed. It seems the pharmacy gets a lot of traffic, so there is usually a line of people waiting, pharmacy techs shuffling about filling orders, and a phone ringing. I come here because of the proximity to my home, if I moved I would be excited to find a new drugstore! read more

There is one employee there that they need to get rid of effective immediately like today and her name is Crystal, she had blue hair with braids when I had a run in with her . She was very rude to me when I simply asked her for help. I would not have asked her for help if it didn't deem for a key, which unfortunately a staff member has to get. She's got a nasty attitude, slammed the glass door that the product was in and didn't say thank you. She's very unprofessional. Every time I come into this location she's always looking upset, evil, mad with an attitude. She made my experience they're very unpleasant and uncomfortable today. When I called to the location and asked for the store manager, the gentleman put her on the phone instead of getting a store manager. She had a cocky attitude when I asked if she was a store manager. She told me the store manager would not be back until Thursday, which I don't believe but I will make sure I find out. I will make a review about her every single time that she's rude. She needs to learn to be MORE respectful. If you don't like your job, get a job that doesn't involve helping customers,. Point blank I will also be calling Coorporate on her as well. read more

Let's start on a positive note, I can walk there! And I fill my prescriptions here. The staff is always nice and helpful, but are constantly drowning in work as this is the closest drugstore to many people. The parking lot is small, often congested. The store itself is messy - I assume they get a lot of street traffic due to its proximity to South Blvd. There is always a line at the front and no real urgency to check people out. I typically really like CVS's, but this is not one of my favorites and often opt to go to their competitor across the street for anything other than my 'scripts. read more

I was at this location this afternoon to pick up a prescription. When I arrived there were 2 employees behind the counter and I was the only customer. I was told they would be eight with me, why I'm not sure. Then the lady who decided to wait on me told me that my insurance company would allow me to use a prescription discount card. So I left and called my insurance company to get so clarification. I was told by my insurance company there was no issue and I should be able to use the prescription discount. My insurance company contacted CVS and told me everything is fine. Then when I walked back in the CVS employee told me she is not sure what happened and why it was rejected the first time. If I would not have contacted my insurance company I would have paid 7 times for a prescription because someone did not do their job. read more

I called while at metro before closing and was on hold for more than 40 minutes and no one even answered the phone e!RA while I have Rx for blood thinners to prevent blood clot, nothing important, right? OH CVS...I want to give you more stars, but the line at the pharmacy that extended into the aisles didn't help too much. I could tell people in the pharmacy were doing their best to get the line moving, but I could have also hit just a busy patch.... judging by the number of prescriptions the pharmacist was frantically filling it seems like it is always the case here. Location is great! Right on South Blvd... parking lot to park in. The store even has some food/snack options should you forget some grocery items - but don't expect a huge selection. Staff is nice enough and the layout is the usual CVS layout with the seasonal stuff in the middle... pharmacy in the back... beauty products up front. Will be interesting to see how I like this location better the more I frequent it, but its just OK for now. read more

Honestly if I could not give a star at all- I would. This place is a hot mess and it needs to be addressed. I'm calling just to make sure that a prescription was received from my doctor and being filled before I drove there to pick it up. no one at the pharmacy ever answered the phone. No matter how many times I called or how long I waited. So I talked to the front of the store and they tried to transfer me, still no answer. Finally I got in touch with a manager, who got my information and took it to the pharmacy which a couple hours later after the first call, finally called me. After all this trouble, the lady pharmacist on the phone was less than pleasant. Full of attitude and I'm just seeking simple confirmation. I then proceeded to STILL thank them for there attempted help and she hung up on me. Won't go back to this location again. read more

This CVS shares the parking lot with the mall and the Safeway grocery store. There it can sometimes take a bit to get in and out from the lot. Despite to that the store itself has a good selection. Staff working here is always friendly and helping you out any time. read more

I absolutely love the pharmacy personnel. They are incredibly helpful and thoughtful. I'm giving this CVS one star solely based on their manager or assistant manager Cyndi. She has been rude and dismissive on two different occasions. Today's encounter went as follows: I purchased a prescription and a few items at the pharmacy. I, received almost twenty reward coupons and six dollars in reward bucks. These are rewards our household has EARNED by shopping at this particular CVS. When I realized I had EXTRA bucks I decided to return one item and Repurchase it using my reward bucks and cash. Cyndi politely told me that was not allowed... I, politely asked her "why?" She said, "I can not use reward bucks on items I just purchased because of quarterly reasons." I'm still unsure what that means but I politely replied, "If I leave the store and comeback in and return an item I would be able to use the reward bucks but I can't use them right now?" She responded, "Since I, now, know you're thinking of doing that I'm not going to return the items for you" I was further confused, she was not going to let me return an item I just purchased or resell me the item? Is this not a business? How did this become personal? After a 4-5 minute exchange she "allowed" me to use one the reward bucks coupons... I felt like she was rude, dismissive, unprofessional and out of line. I'm not sure what her issue was with a person using their reward bucks or repurchasing an item. I, remained calm but I won't be shopping here, because obviously being a loyal customer reaps no reward. read more

Yup, this is the CVS in my hood - South End. Whether I need to grab a quart of milk, some band aids and a greeting card on the go in one swoop - this satisfies. Y'all know what a CVS looks like and this one is well organized, clean and staffed with polite peeps. If you've been to a CVS before you know those CVS bucks and printable discounts can be total winners - no exception here. I had a particularly nice experience a few weeks back when I picked up a prescription and the pharmacist immediately and kindly applied all of my just printed coupons to the remainder of my basket. Score! As long as I live in South End I'll continually come back to this CVS. Yay for convenience - make sure you bring your own reusable tote to avoid using their plastic bags! read more

Typical CVS with a broad mix of clientele. They have mad sales after the holidays where you can get holiday goodies for 75% or 90% off which is always a plus. I love how their circular tells you which items on sale have a coupon in that Sunday's paper as well as I'm trying to save as much dough as possible. My interaction with the front of the store cashiers have always been meh but they have a fabulous pharmacy, they always work quickly and I am in and out with my drugs-hooray! read more

A disappointing experince everytime I come here. I was getting a prescription filled, b/c my normal pharmacy did not carry the product, and was told it would be a 10-15 wait. I decided to paruse the store and check out the magazines, etc, and pick up a few things. The store was dirty, the staff was rude, and the pharmacy check-out was a mess. There were four or five people waiting, three or four pharmacists asking for people's date of birth and last name from all over, let's talk about customer privacy. Finally after over 45 minutes I was out of there, and happy to be. Next time I'll let my pharmacy order the presciption and pick it up the next day. read more

This place looks like it can use a nice renovation. It's conveniently located near my apartment, which makes it easy to walk to. Employees here can be hit or miss. Either they are extremely friendly or helpful, or they are extremely rude. I only go here if I forgot something at target or if I'm looking for a last minute movie rental (Redbox right outside is convenient). read more

I started coming here to get my perscription when my new insurance made me. So I wasnt very happy about the change to begin with. My disappointment continued as almost every single time I go to pick up my perscriptions (they are on auto refill) I wait 15 - 20 mins because the line is so long. Worst pharmacy customer service Ive ever experienced. I started using this pharmacy in July, when I moved to Charlotte as its near my home. And Ive been trying to give it a fair chance...thinking it was a one-time thing or where someone was just having a bad day...no. They seem understaffed and miserable because of it. Everyone is too busy filing orders and playing in medicine, that it takes at least 5-7 minutes of people waiting in line, before 1 person even walks over to acknowledge the growing line. A smile, or a "be with you all in one second," would be nice. And the bad attitudes are not very becoming. If you hate your job, find a new one. Im sure there's plenty of unemployed people who would love it and be happy doing it. read more

Very poor pharmacy customer service. My medication brand has been changed 4 times this year (monthly) due to the pharmacies apparent ability to negotiate better pricing on different meds. Not ok to force a patient to adjust to new medication with different side affects on a monthly basis to save a few cents. Additionally, staff is unable to answer questions, just spoke to a male pharmacy tech who begged me repeatedly to call back another time to let a colleague deal with me - all I wanted to know is what day my prescription would be ready for pickup. He then oddly hung up on me before the call was concluded. Will be switching to Rite Aid pharmacy ASAP. read more

This CVS location is disgusting. The floors look like they have never been cleaned and there is a huge patch of black mold growing on the ceiling above the door inside the ladies restroom. The doors are visibly dirty and look like they, too, have never been cleaned. These conditions are not acceptable for a business that caters to people who are sick or unwell. read more

This is not a nice CVS. I only go here because it is on my way home from work so the convenience is great but that's about it. It just seems so dark and dingy to me, perhaps its just very old and in need of a refurbishing? The lack of a drive through also knocks them down a star because the parking lot here always seems to be chaos and if I didn't have to go in, I'd never know how run down it is! read more

I have come to this pharmacy for a while and never had too much of a problem so I decided to get some 1 hour photos developed. I ordered them online and then went to pick them up 2 hours later. When I got there, I asked if I had pictures ready and they said that they didn't even know there were pictures that needed to be developed and that I could wait about 10 minutes until they are printed. I said okay and looked around the store. As I'm looking around, I hear them talking about how there is no paper in the photo printer. Finally, after about 8-10 minutes, I see them loading the paper so I decided to leave and come back. I came back over 30-45 minutes later. The guy was very friendly and apologetic but was checking his phone and still hadn't put my pictures in an envelope. He shows me the pictures and they aren't mine. I tell him this and he finds mine that are in the same stack just on the bottom. I get home and look at my pictures and there are only 15 of my pictures (I ordered 16) and there are about 10 photos of another girl's photos. I will not be taking my pictures back there. read more

this isn't the closest cvs to my home but it's the one i've learned to love. spacious, well organized, great pharmacy staff. I just wish someone would tell me why they have to lock up the suave. really? keep the bumble and bumble out in the open but save the cheap body wash? this being said I've had issues with cvs' cased items before... I could never get over having to ask someone at the uptown/6th st to unlock a $1.99 calculator which was right next to a easily accessible $7.99 office item, but who knows, maybe the thieves of south end are all about cleanliness? at this location, though, the staff has always been courteous, the sales are always great, the shelves are always stocked and organized (though i have noticed the bayer/goodys powder section is occasionally completely empty) and how can you be mad about doing some cvs shopping right next to yummy sandwiches at laurel? read more
