Not our regular Harris Teeter we go to in either Cornelius or Denver but we had lunch at Saladworks right down the street and decided to go ahead and pick up the things we had missed when shopping earlier in the week. Typical Harris Teeter. Not as big as the one in Cornelius but well stocked and had all of the essentials we needed. Well organized and while we had to hunt for a few things, in general we found what we needed so no additional stops on the way home. Good store, well organized and helpful staff. I frequent this HT and I generally like the food options. I often buy rotisserie chicken, produce and breakfast items along with any other one off needs. Recently I found habanero peppers here and was too happy. The store is always well stocked and I love the wine options. One of my favorites is on sale right now so I plan to return. Staff is friendly, but they need help right now. On multiple visits this week I've noticed the same cashier on line 1 is also working self checkout, which is usually unheard of. I've always seen someone dedicated to self checkout but I imagine they're short staffed like so many other places. Send help! read more

It's just fine the manager kicked a guy off his property for just begging for money but for the most part it's fine

They run short-staffed, so they have a self-checkout area with a staff person staring at you as you DIY. Some are helpful, others are flat rude. Their broken security system will stop you, and alert the staff because it believes you're stealing. The staff comes over, watches a video, and clears it until it happens again. The last time, it happened twice, and the insulting woman who worked there watched the video in detail each time. That was enough; I walked away from the checkout leaving them to put the items back. I will never return to that store or likely any Harris Teeter and go out of my way to use other retailers. Enough with the self-checkout systems. Either trust your customers or lose them completely and hire real people. read more

I always hit up this Harris Teeter for anything that I need. They always have what I need, in stock (except yesterday I needed my double stuff Oreos and they only had original...tragic! LOL!). I go here very often, and the staff is always friendly, they speak and help out when needed. It's convenient, as it's located in a pretty large and busy shopping center with CVS, Sabor, Atrium Urgent Care and a TON of other establishments that you'll likely need. So why not stop on and grab what you need? LOL! read more

Super nice and well stocked Harris teeter. Went here for Memorial Day weekend it was busy but not too bad. The parking lot is big and easy to navigate. The staff were kind enough and answered questions easily. The aisles were stocked and they had good summer deals. Their watermelons were plentiful. They also have a large (somewhat pricy) alcohol selection. The cashiers and self checkout lines were not too busy so we didn't wait too long. Very clean too. read more

This used to be the joint. People would sit around at backyard BBQs and their neighborhood pools and rave about the awesomeness of Harris Teeter. Then Kroger took over. Don't get me wrong. Kroger is an exceptional company if you're a long-term investor. Even if the stock isn't performing well, you're still collecting a dividend while waiting for the stock to rebound. The problem is that when these big companies take over, the customer service tends to decline. It becomes all about the numbers, not the people. This is a difficult spot for me because this HT might have literally saved my life. I played 4 of 7 sets (tennis) against a fierce competitor (we battle like hell, but we're athletes, not tennis players). It was hot out and I was operating with no food and Red Bull. Bad combo. Toward the end of the six-hour match (seventh set), I was serving from my knees because I didn't want to give up. I was dizzy and would fall forward on the ground here and there. My friend/opponent attempted to stop me, but I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I quit. Needless to say, I lost that match. When I went to HT for Gatorade and water, I walked liked I was drunk and used the wall to support me. The management team recognized this the instant I walked in and brought me to a medical machine at the pharmacy where they took my readings. My heart rate was more than double my norm and I was severely dehydrated. They recommended going to the hospital and even offered to take me there, but I declined. They took good care of me, bringing me free Gatorade and water and genuinely caring. This lasted for more than an hour. They would check up on me every 10 minutes. This was after the Kroger takeover and it left a very good impression. So, I like HT (as well as Publix down the street). There was a stretch where HT's cleanliness and organization declined after the Kroger takeover. Many customers noticed. I don't visit HT much anymore (only for different flavors of Bing), but when I do, it seems to have improved a little. It seems like management listened to what customers were saying. Then again, I'm not there enough to really tell anymore. If you have to choose between HT and Publix, then you're probably going to have a better experience at Publix. However, if you're getting some Duck Donuts, if you need to get gas at the gas station around the corner, or if you're about to die, then HT isn't a bad option at all. read more

Located on the other side of Publix so they're fairly close by to each other. The store is cleaner then most of the other Harris teeter but some of their produces and fruits could use some switching out since most of them are moldy or nearly moldy or squishy. They are usually stocked. Pricing are reasonable but some are expensive. They have their own store brand as well. They have a penny ride machine here read more

Have I not reviewed HT? Hard to believe. This is my go-to place to quickly pick up grocery items, ready-made food (hoagies, wraps, and more). Lately, I have enjoyed picking up great wines on sale. Whatever I need, I can find it in HT. One of the best perks is earning rewards towards gas purchases. I frequently purchase gasoline in Denver and at a certain level of purchases, I can get $.10 off per gallon. Can't beat that. read more

A perfectly nice grocery store with some upscale options like fine tea, olive oil, chocolates etc. However it irritates me how they are always lacking in produce. I can't say that I would make this a big shopping destination, if I lived here. I would want more free range meats et al. (I'm from California, what can I say.) Service always has a smile... that IS a nice thing. Plenty of parking, with a drug store and a liquor store (ABC) in the same location. My previous experience with Harris Teeter was with only one location. And from that location I was in love. Little did I know, that the Harris Teeter I frequently visited was not the best of the best. This location is huge and mostly busy. My most recent visit allowed me to explore the store a little bit. I have visited previously but it was always just a quick run in and out to get cash. This location has a few more food stations including an Asian bar. The produce section also seemed larger but that could be due to layout. Honestly, I have never had a bad experience at any Harris Teeter but when I took a moment to walk around the store, I was in love all over again. read more

I am a frequent shopper at Harris Teeter, I actually live 5 minutes away. Typically, I wouldn't go out my day to post a negative review for a grocery store but this encounter definitely deserves one. I have never been so disrespected and disappointed with a customer impolite and unpleasant attitude. As I ask for the young man name he quickly dashed and said "I'm not giving you my name". At this point, I'm livid with the customer service received with a frequent regular. I do hope management will address "Will" as I'll be keeping my shopping to a minimum due to his uncivil behavior. Customer service is on point here. Adine helped me out and got me out of the chaos that is a grocery store on a weekend morning. This is one of the Harris Teeters close to me but it's not one of my favorites. Parking is usually a little difficult (hard to find a parking space) because it's always so busy. Other than it being a 24-hour HT there is nothing really that stands out to me over some of the other ones in this area. It's not bad by any means, just average. read more

I was in Huntersville for a college graduation celebration and ran one of the last errands to Harris Teeter to pick up some catering trays. The staff at HT has always been helpful when I've visited here and this time was no different. The deli staff was more than accommodating and helped us get all our goodies to the counter in one piece, including a 1/2 sheet cake! The quality and presentation of the food purchased was great and quite plentiful! We have HT here in Northern VA now and I like their stores very much. read more

I was kicked out of this location by a new manager I've not seen before two evenings ago because I could not wear a mask due to a medical condition. Do NOT use this HT if you plan on grabbing a few things before work. This location is most convenient for my commute, but all 3 times I've stopped, it's taken 30+ minutes. I guess moms do the weekly grocery shopping after dropping kids off at school. Which means waiting in line for 20 minutes for 3 items. There are usually only two registers open in the morning and self checkout isn't open yet. I tried to get customer service to check me out and she told me to get in line. Will never be back to this location. 1 star only because this store is very clean and organized. read more

I shop between this store and Publix (located nearby) as Harris Teeter often has a great sale on items that Publix doesn't put on sale during the current week I'm shopping. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and I really like their produce as it seems pretty fresh each time. This is hands down my favorite HT in the area. Huge, clean, great selection and most importantly always has everything in stock. Prepared meal options range from salad and asian bars, handmade pizza, subs and sushi. There are always loads of samples to try as you shop. And the cashier's are always super friendly. I have lived in Huntersville for 20 years and have been going to this Harris Teeter quite frequently over the years. The customer service is excellent. I also get my prescriptions there and the Pharmacists are extremely friendly and helpful. The Manager Joel has great customer service skills, Megan, June, Julia, Mary, Brianna also. If I knew more of their names, I would name them all! Prices can be high but they have great specials such as buy 2 get 3 free, they give fuel points and we save a 1.00 a gallon every month. The store is clean, well stocked and has a huge variety. Really like shopping there. The Floral Department is excellent also! read more

Idk what's been up with the teeter lately but customer service has seen better days. I've had some pretty apathetic cashiers that you have to squeeze a "have a good day" out of sometimes. I've gone to get pizza slices the past two weeks and no one is ever at pizza counter...or maybe I just have horrible timing. I stood there for what felt like forever and finally a guy from deli counter helped me at the pizza station. The prices sky rocket during triple/double coupon so just avoid that week unless you have coupons. Overall I'll always like Harris teeter but publix next door is starting to be more appealing. read more

Went in for a quick beer run. Now let's do some math: 1/2 aisle of beer + 1/2 aisle of beer = 1 full aisle of beer. Add to that end cap with seasonal and 4 types of Mother Earth + more displays down the center. Just muliply times 5, don't forget to carry the 1. Well, anyway you get the point. Nice selection. Been shopping here for 15 years, store is not what it used to be, rude employees, terrible customer service and the fish department has given me spoiled fish 4 times in the past month, complained and was ignored. Will definitely be finding another place to shop. read more

This Harris Teeter used to be great. But recently I've had some less than stellar cashiers. Yesterday, for example, the girl "tossed" the items in the bag as she checked them as opposed to "placing" them in the bag. I have brought this up to the store through emails over and over and over again - there are almost never ladles in the soup pots. So how they sell soup is beyond me. However, today there were actually ladles in the pots - but the three soups that were listed on the cards were not at all what was in the pots.......never ladles, labels not updated. I'm just done trying to get soup at this location. They clearly do not care if they sell it or not. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the bakery department. My wife ordered a cake with my daughters face in a princess body Sat. for Sunday pick up for my daughter's b-day. The bakery took the order Sat. I had picked up the cake Sunday. I explained to my wife when I got back and explained that that the baker said that they ran out of ink, because they were busy with graduation. The bakery department never called to let us know of our order. we had no choice but to take the cake, since it was my daughter's b-day. Also the cake showed some damage to the side of the cake. Lesson learned; go to Publix for all needs. I will sure to pass this situation on to my family and friends. read more

Any other time I would say that HT would receive a 5!! Today not so much!! As my husband and I approached the checkouts we went to the line that had a "light" on, meaning OPEN!! The clerk next to us had a customer, but NO light on, meaning CLOSED!! However, even though we were next in the line the CLOSED lane kept taking customers!! After three people and our line not moving my husband asked for the clerk to take us...she "not very nicely" said she was taking the lady next in line!! My husband had to leave the store before he went ballistic!! Harris Teeter is a great supermarket chain, but their Rosedale store has always been one of the worst ones in the area. The deli is disgusting, and I've seen employees doing unsanitary things there. Their produce section (as mentioned by the above reviewer) is very poor and just not displayed nicely at all. The store is badly in need of an expansion. It's far too small and cramped. This isn't one of the better Harris Teeters. The Peninsula store (exit 28) or additional Huntersville location on Exit 25 are much, much nicer. read more
