Despite years of history, the pharmacist lied to me. Stating NC law requires a local prescriber. After calling the national support line they confirmed it was a CVS policy that allows local pharmacists discretion. This is the most unprofessional CVS I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. They are the worst ever, long hold times on phone. Incompetent occasionally rude staff. Shortage of pill count. Since the last pharmacy manager left this location is a nightmare! I only reason I stayed with them this long was Pat the pharmacist who was also the manager. Called an hour ahead of time to check if my prescription is ready for pickup. I was told it will be ready in 20 mins. Went on the drive-thru and patiently waited for 30 mins for the truck in front of me to move. I was asked if I'm here to pick up the medicine, I said yes and provided her the information. Said they just got my prescription and will be ready in another 30 mins. 2 hours waste on my time! Not a good customer service especially when a phone call was made. read more

Still an ugly situation with CVS. They sent me a canned letter "apologizing" for the problem. It took them over a month to respond. Walhgreens are much nicer stores anyway! Update 4/13/11: a supervisor from CVS actually called me to lecture me on their "extra care" card and that it really isn't extra care it's just a way for CVS to spam you with offers. No apology. No request to give them another chance. Think about it . . . every other store that I go to with a "preferred/extra care/etc" card actually tries to help their customers. Let's just say it's close to home. I prefer Walgreens. They just seem to have better stuff. The good thing here is that the pharmacy staff is very helpful and they can administer vaccinations. The pharmacist is a great guy and the assistants work really hard to accommodate you. The rest of the staff seems like they are just doing time. I assume that they are short staffed because it takes a while to check out here. I usually go to the pharmacy to check out if they don't looked too busy. read more

the pharmacist at this CVS on Old Statesville in Huntersville is not to be trusted. frequently they fail to deliver RX that they have been paid to deliver. if you call to sort it out, be ready to be told that you needed medications are at either UPS or USPS. she doesn't know which. rude and unprofessional. go somewhere else. read more

This CVS Pharmacy, located in Mooresville, NC, is probably one of the cleaner more consistently stocked branches that I have found in the Charlotte "area". With a great selection of greeting cards and gift wrap options, it is a wonderful (and easy) place to stop on my way to work to pick up some cards for the week. The staff is always friendly...at least as I have experienced...and the store is always organized. Because I visit in the early morning, there are times that the shelves are not yet restocked from the weekend, but the employees are always happy to "look" for an item that is not on the shelves. If you are in the area and in need of a pharmacy, I would definitely recommend this location as your go to for cards and essentials! read more

Very unsatisfied with this location. I have been getting the same prescription filled at this location since they opened. In December THEY decided to switch my prescription to generic brand WITHOUT consulting me or my doctor. I found the generic brand did not help me and made a phone call to this location to inquire about going back to the name brand that works for me, and they said "no problem, when you refill just let us know that you want the name brand" (I called twice to make sure). Well, sure enough as soon as I got there I was greeted by a customer service rep with literally yarn colored red hair (how professional) and with her sweetest little smirk she could muster up, she informed me that even with my insurance the amount will now be $385.00 for a prescription that I have been paying $55.00 for years. UGH. Neither her, nor anyone else in the pharmacy seemed to care that I was upset by this news. I asked her to please just fill the prescription back to generic and promised her that I would never go back to this store nor ANY CVS Pharmacy again. Where was her Manager???? too afraid to talk to an upset customer perhaps??? This is very unfortunate because of the location of this store. Oh-well, I will certainly go out of my way to shop at a store that employs professional people, and who actually care about their customers. I am sure that CVS Pharmacy will not care about losing my husband and I. They won't even notice. read more

This is within walking distance of my house and is the only reason I go there. I have started driving to Walgreens now because they have continually given me the wrong prescriptions. I've been getting my insulin for 6+ years here and all of a sudden the give me vials of it instead of the pens I've always used. I've never used vials so why was I given that? Just the other day I was in the drive thru and was asking questions. They told me there was a line and I was taking too long. How rude is that? Also bc she was so worried with me moving along, she put in the wrong order for a glucose monitor I needed. Luckily I didn't need it immediately, I just went somewhere else to get it. There is one gentleman there who was wonderful in the pharmacy but every other person is so rude and the fact I have to worry if my prescriptions have been filled correctly and not something completely random is just crazy. read more
