I love Trader Joe's. I have always been very pleased with everything I have purchased from this store and the staff are all great.

as mass market superstores encroach on the craft grocery realm Trader Joe's is getting squeezed a bit but still holding it's place in line. please understand that I have been patronizing TJ's for about 25 years now and it's still kinda fun even when you concede that despite the flashier branding on the stay-cold bags it is basically Aldi's for older hipsters sans rent-a-carts. if you've been in one TJ's you've pretty much been to 'most' of them: the aisles aren't all arranged the same and some have more live plants or produce or what have you. meanwhile the slow movers will get rotated out after a while so good luck finding the free range low fat organic vegan lemon bars or the spinach and cream cheese dumplings (they were so good!) unless they're back again other than that the stores are similar in design and execution which isn't a bad thing because why else would you make a special trip unless you were pretty sure they had it on hand... staples like budget friendly wine or seasonal baked goods imported directly from racine wisconsin. woot! read more

What's there not to love about any Trader Joes? The selection, the friendly staff, the quality, and the pricepoint that is expensive enough to know your not getting the cheap stuff but not WholeFoods break the bank pricey... My neighborhood TJs is fantastic for its wine selection. I do my wine fridge restocks and walk away with anywhere from 14-16 btls in the $100-120 range depending on how thrifty I'm being. Most Sundays they have a little wine tasting w/featured btls and the staff always make great recommendations! One guy, who had seen me in before, told me they were discontinuing a btl and it was deeply discounted...I walked away w/4 btls thnx to the tip! You gotta luv when you're a regular somewhere and the business still sees value in that! My only gripe here has been their plant selection of late. I LOVE getting houseplants here and adding to my collection, but the last 2 I have gotten here (one was an orchid) have not lasted. I'm not a green thumb per se, but I know how to keep plants happy & thriving...I was especially devastated about my orchid! So, the quality of the offerings has been subpar and the selection hasn't been as great as it once was. Hoping that changes cuz nothing makes me happier than walking out w/a cart full of wine and a few new plant babies! read more

Great customer service. I love how you can purchase individual cans. A couple of seasonal items were gone, but employees helped me look for them! Even my cashier was helpful. I absolutely love trader joes! The store is always clean and well stocked. The produce is always fresh, I'm always finding something new to try. I love their olive tapenade. It's so easy for me to find everything I need for my charcuterie boards. The staff is always kind and willing to help. They offer fresh flowers at a reasonable price. This is one business that, in my opinion, is getting it right. Not only do they have unique seasonal choices and great produce.... Their prices are competitive. Most things are sustainably sourced. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They demo the items for opportunities to taste the offerings and discover things you like. There are spices, wine, artesian breads, flowers, candy and dessert. You also get a discount for bringing your reusable bags. The prices are always clearly displayed along with descriptions of the items. The checkout lines move quickly. Parking can be a bit daunting.... Saturday is [the] worst day to go. Trader Joe's has good hours and decent parking spots but this TJ's is not as well-stocked compared to others. I had to go back several times through the aisles just to see if a product was available. The don't sell single potatoes and you are stuck buying a large bag only if you want just one potato. The cashier experience was fine except for the nosey bagger who wanted to know what we did last night and what our plans were for today. I realize she is just being friendly but a bit too much with the inquistive nature towards strangers. read more

I love Trader Joe's. I've been to many locations. I walked into this location to pick up some wine with my boyfriend (side note: we drove 15 minutes from home to come here for wine; it's amazingly cheap and the quality of wine is on point).... anywho, main reason for this review is to shout out Billy. What a kind soul. Having recently moved from Denver, everyday has been interesting to say the least. Transitioning to new surroundings is never easy. I guess Billy felt my vibe haha, because shortly after checking out, he told me to go grab some flowers and he would take care of it. That really made my day. I won't forget this. Oh, Trader Joe, you had me at Hello! Fresh Flowers! Fresh Produce! Specialty Products! And Cheap Alcohol! What's not to love? Currently, I'm totally in love with TJ's skin care line, Nourish! Yes, I buy my skin care products at a grocery store! I use the Microdermabrasion Scrub, Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum and Antioxidant Facial Serum. The serums are in my daily skin care regime and I use the scrub every couple weeks. The scrub is so affordable, I also use it on my elbows & heels. I never leave TJ's without a fresh bouquet or two! There's always a few items in fresh produce that grab my eye, too! And what's a trip to Trader Joe's if you don't get a couple bottles of wine? Unsuccessful, if you ask me! Tricky parking because of angled parking lot. Not much else in the large strip mall, but it is close to college campus so it makes sense that there are small restaurants and nail places nearby. Standard TJ's with awesome employees and good selections. read more

I enjoyed shopping at Trader Joe's because you can find unusual fines here and that's always a plus, but although they have fresh fruits and vegetables they can sometimes be a bit pricey. I love how Trader Joe's caters to the season and tries to enhance that particular theme, for example they had beautiful fall decorations at the entrance of the store with a nice array of pumpkins and hanging decor. My favorite find this week was a Rosemary deluxe mixed nut assortment and a big oversize bottle of Champagne; these items are seasonal and we have to grab them while they last. read more

Color me impressed! I went out of my way shop here today. I was looking for a hard-to-find item(they didn't have it) and I found a lot of neat things that I wanted to take home with me. The store is very clean. There's an employee next to the shopping carts diligently cleaning every cart as they come available. Inside, the place is well lit, nicely organized, and has a great atmosphere. The employees were friendly. They had a huge wine selection. They had an entire refrigerated dedicated to cheeses from around the world. I bought several spices from their copious selection of different offerings. They had some great looking fresh fruit. They had jellies that you won't find anywhere else locally. Checkout was easy and painless. I didn't buy more because I wasn't going straight home to my refrigerator. I will be back soon! read more

The parking lot is a hazard! No one has patience lol. If you drive faster than 10 mph then you'll hit something. But once you traverse that danger and oasis awaits you inside those 4 walls. The wine section. Go ham! There isn't a bad bottle to be had. Why? Because the price point makes it so. Try something new and grab a box of dark chocolate covered almonds. I live in Mt. Holly which is about 25-30 minutes away from the nearest Trader Joes. Typically I will make my way to TJs twice a month. I volunteer every other Saturday at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, so when I am there I leave and go to TJs uptown. Today I was headed to Concord Mills Mall and decided to come here. I typically pick up my Mama Jola sangria (about 3-4 bottles) and other interesting items that I find. This location is always clean and the registers never have a long wait. The people working here are friendly and will help me find whatever item that I can't locate on the shelves. Parking is never terrible at this location, but I can't say the same for the uptown location. This store is not heavily busy but it attracts a good number of people here. Although I don't shop at TJs for the majority of my groceries, coming here to get items that are TJ trademark is usually a good bet. I wish they had a location closer to me but that doesn't stop me from traveling ever so often to check them out. read more

Came in on a busy Saturday so the store was a little crowded but I was able to grab everything I needed! Checkout lines were quick and I didn't have to wait even with the store being busy. I'm so glad that Trader Joes is around. Their frozen food department is just amazing. They're low-fat chicken chow mein, their tamales, and so much more are just downright delicious! they don't have a lot of dangerous or unhealthy ingredients in them. Try their corn relish or their cowboy salsa you will just love it. My only complaint is that often times I have fallen in love with things they sell and then they discontinue them and nobody else carries the things that Trader Joes carries. read more

There is always a good supply of items in stock and available. The prices of the products is also super competitive and cheap, which makes this place a steal! They even do tastings and events in-store! To say the staff is friendly and helpful is an understatement! There is never a time when the staff is not helping you out, asking what you need, or what they can do for you. The parking lot can be a little challenge, but you always find parking. My rating is 3.5 stars. I love Trader Joe's. The product that got me hooked is the dark chocolate edamame. This store is in a fairly busy plaza. I parked a bit further away and walked it. It was such a warm day in Charlotte that I left my jacket in the car and walked in. Sadly, there was no dark chocolate edamame to be found. Oh, the disappointment that washed over my face! Luckily, Trader Joe's has so many other awesome items that I was okay after a good cry. I tried out Thai shrimp potstickers. They were so good! I had them for dinner the following day and breakfast the day that I left Charlotte to head home. Boil, pan fry, or microwave, they taste good no matter how you heat them up. I also got individual packets of matcha green tea. Oh, my gosh. I tried one when I got back to the hotel. The taste is incredible. I love matcha green tea. You shake it up in a bottle of water and it dissolves perfectly. I also have a thing for mints. I got my usual Trader Joe's green tea-infused mints. I also got the coconut lime mints. I love the former and found a new flavour to love. The cashier and I had a good chat. She also wanted to try the coconut lime mints. I love when you purchase items that make someone else salivate with you. The aisles at the store are pretty wide. I didn't deal with any obnoxious shoppers, so it was a decent shopping experience. Can't go wrong with Trader Joe's... I usually don't do much grocery shopping while visiting family up in Charlotte, NC, but Mom needed groceries, so I decided to drive her over and give her a hand. In past we have gone to Harry Teeter, Whole Foods and the new Publix, but this time she chose Trader Joe's. My mom being 88 doesn't move very well so upon arrival was impressed that they had a fully charged electrical cart to make shopping easy for folks like her. Place was jammed pack but isle were well spaced for her to get around and items all within her reach. Store was very organized and very well stock. The also sold a lot of organic items at very reasonable prices. Staff was absolutely awesome and always helping out with a smile!. I will definitely leach Charlotte with an open mind to try out Trader Joe's in South Florida. read more

Trader Joe's has been a favorite stop in store for years in Georgia living a mile and a half from one was a favorite "go to" several times a week. Staying in N.C. am in need of staples that can't be found at the same price point for groceries anywhere in the area. Being a bit home sick will visit this location on occasion even though it is out of the way. Seasonal items are offered, gluten free item's can be had, some really tasty cheese and wine. Working in the service industry get to meet so many people daily that have moved into the area. When we start talking about groceries etc. Trader Joe's almost always comes up. Opening a store in the Cornelios, Mooresville or even Huntersville area would be happily embraced. read more

Maybe I went the wrong time of week but things were really picked over and a lot of places on the shelves were empty with only a sign on the front denoting what should have been there.Nothing had been restocked. For example, one of the items I was shopping for was cooking oils. Very random. On some types there were plenty of one item but on other, either one or none. Will say the wine selection has been expanded and is now very good. Will try again at a later date and then earlier in the day. read more

I wish I lived closer to this TJ's. I just love it so much. I have never had a problem with the staff here. If I have a question or a hard time finding something, they always help me and show me exactly where an item is. Or if they don't have what I am looking for then they will even give me suggestions on where to find it. I think that is pretty cool. Trader Joe's has a lot of options for those eating healthy and those not following any kind of diet. Some of my favorites: *Soaps and facewash *Frozen Cauliflower rice *Whole Wheat Tortillas with tons of fiber - can't recall the brand but these are delicious tortillas *Red Boat Fish Sauce *Coconut milk and cream - good quality, no fillers and cheaper than the brand I buy at the Asian store *Chomps Snack Sticks *Most fruits - they always have a nice and fresh variety *Ghee - love that they have affordable options for this *Sesame oil - again, affordable and they have a lot of other items that are whole 30 compliant, not that we follow whole 30 but we do try to eat clean when we can. So I like that we can eat healthy and not pay a ton of out pocket. read more

The manager has like 20 years on her too. Talked with one of the employees and they said that he had a tendency to hire college-age girls to positions at the store, so that's a bit concerning. I don't want to make any assumptions or accusations; I'm just sharing my story. Other than that manager everything else was great. He kinda soured the whole experience though. read more

The best advice for Trader Joe's? Take your time! This store is such a cool spot and I'm always finding a neat new ingredient or pre-packaged foods/snack that are the unique focal point to a tailgate or house party. I typically don't like to spend too much time down the frozen aisles, but there is some quality stuff here. Stuffed mushrooms, gourmet mini pizzas, even the spinach artichoke dip is good enough that I bet you most wouldn't question if it was homemade or not. The dairy section has a HUGE selection of unique offerings as well, it's the only grocery store I know of that has Crème fraîche all day everyday! It's a great store to find some inspiration for your next culinary endeavour! Be sure to check out the back corner for samples, you'll find them cooking up something everyday, including recipes and everything you'll need to make it right there. The bread up front is top-notch, Tuscan Pane is great for pressed paninis. The wine section is full of value as well! Bring your friends, bring your empty shopping bags, and bring a curious mind. Trader Joe's is one of those grocery stores that is not in my current rotation but whenever I visit, but when I leave I realize that I need to visit more. People like to say that they are expensive but I really find them to be comparable to other grocery giants in the area. I was able to get some great items such as bacon ends, everything but the bagel seasoning, Flowers, powered stevia, teeny avocados, grilled cauliflower, dried seaweed, and other odds and ends for the Keto Diet that I am about to attempt. As usually, staff is great. While in the store, staff members asked me if I needed assistance and check out was a breeze. The store was clean and well lit. Great food, great service , great value. I am a huge fan of Trader Joe's stores and this location. Some of my favorite items are their fresh salmon, a various array of frozen meals with lots of flavor for two or more people, their teas, their fruit and vegetable selection and their snacks . Everything here is reasonably priced and of good quality. There are lots of organic, vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian food options here. I can tell they really try to meet everyone's dietary needs here. There are also some natural cleaning supplies, nutrition supplements and wine. They also have an awesome sample set up....ALL DAY LONG. Who doesn't love samples? A store team member is usually posted serving fresh samples ( keeping them warm if need be with a toaster or a hot plate ). They get me every time, usually what they allow you to sample is great , and they will conveniently have it ready for you to grab and Place in you cart . The team is also very nice and ready willing to serve you. Today I stopped in , and could tell they rearranged some items since I had been in their before . The team member was nice enough to literally walk me over to where I needed to be. They are very helpful, but not in an annoying way. When they see more than 3 people lining up at a register, they ring a bell for assistance ( or at least I think that's why). They will bag your groceries for you in brown paper bags . Closest TJ's to Huntersville, parking is hectic but just park in the lot to the side and walk. They seem to have the staple TJ items but I've been in bigger locations. Cashier was helpful and we were able to get our stash of power berries!! Thanks Trader Joe's. read more
