I ordered the country fried steak with collards and mashed potatoes with gravy, and my husband got a burger. My meal was excellent, and it came with a perfectly flaky biscuit. The tea was Southern SWEET tea, too. My husband said his burger was good for a diner, fresh vegetables and the fries were seasoned well. The diner itself is adorable, full of character and charm. The meat to bun ratio was spot on, which is crucial. Nothing worse than a bread heavy burger. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, the build was balanced, and even after delivery, everything held up beautifully. So far I've tried two burger spots in Charlotte, and this one takes the top spot.
