I also really appreciate their enclosed refrigerated sections throughout the store. It keeps the aisles comfortable, the products cold, and everything feels cleaner and more thoughtfully arranged compared to open‑air coolers you see elsewhere. I presume that there is also an efficiency gain for electricity usage which I can also appreciate. One downside for me is their Bakery. I appreciate a selection of freshly baked goods and find that lacking here. Another is their craft beer selection. It's noticeably limited compared to other grocery stores in the area, and it feels like an opportunity they haven't fully tapped into yet. A few more local or seasonal options would go a long way. Overall, though, even though I miss my Lowes Foods, it's a good store with decent service and a layout that makes shopping pretty easy to navigate.

I went there because of a 5* Yelp rating but the fuel pump were not working correctly…read more Tried paying with credit card: Asking for a zip code that were not accepted (I tried mine & theirs). Tried paying with debit card: The pump didn't let me enter my pin code to pay. So you have to do a prepaid amount of money inside the station desk which means that unless you don't want to do a full fuel tank, you will pay more money that fuel you will put in your car. In my case I fortunately only lose 1$ on the amount I asked. Bad practices they earn free money from every people going there. Best, the people at the desk were laughing at me coming because they known none of the fuel pump were working correctly... Worst place ever. I banned Shell from my provider list.

Regardless the options they did have looked yummy we tried the chicken Tika masala with basmati rice (11.99 per lb) and the pizza by the slice, the gentlemen was happy to warm our slices up which was definitely much appreciated, we also tried the cheese danish and the yummy cornbread muffins. My group tried so many other options and they even got some kimchi fried dumplings for 50% off. Everything was great and the cashier was very courteous and kind. The takeaway bar can also be hit or miss--many times items are unavailable, and when they are, some of the hot bar items can be on the dry side. The cut fruit has also been inconsistent--either underripe or overripe, with very little in between. Overall, great quality when everything is stocked and fresh, but consistency (both inventory and prepared items) needs improvement.

Murphy USA is selling fuel here now and I wish them well. It's a good corner as there is a Shell station directly opposite, and the South Carolina border is about two miles away with lower gas taxes, so I can't imagine they're going to do tremendously well. The station is new and clean. Well lit, plenty of space and inside is well stocked with snacks and drinks. Easy in and easy out. Re: Overcharges and puts in wrong gas…read more This used to be a BP gas convenience store, but changed to Sam's Mart #79 (Exxon) over a year ago. It is a very small store with only one employee. The gas at this location has always been priced about $0.10 to 0.15 higher than the half-dozen other gas stations less than a mile away. I had never dropped by before since it is just as easy to go to the other side of the block for cheaper gas. The day I did drop by, I got their Regular gas (I am absolutely sure), but the pump (#1) charged me at their Supreme premium gas rate. Frankly, I don't know if the problem is accidental or intentional. When I politely explained to the cashier that they had a defective pump, he was rude and dismissive, saying I could complain all I wanted but it was my problem not his. I was indignant, but he was right. There is no supervisor and no way to contact the owner. All I can do is report them to the department that regulates the state's gas pumps and write this review to warn others about being overcharged here: There are so many cheaper and nicer options just around the block.
