Full-service CVS that is located in the Epicentre. They have everything that your more suburban CVS has short of a drive through. Cosmetics, personal care items, over-the-counter medications, a full service pharmacy, drinks and snacks, photo developing, all of that. On this particular visit, the pharmacist was polite and helpful. My order was rung up quickly and, dammit, on the way out I spotted some chocolate that I had to bring home for my wife. CVS is CVS but this one is conveniently located in the center of the Epicentre, making it somewhat prime real estate. Surrounded by entertainment and eateries this CVS holds its own by offering a plethora of snacks for the low, toiletries, hair care products, wine, chocolate, fruit, greeting cards, beauty cosmetics, socks, chips, dips, and self-checkout (except one is down at the present moment). I gave it only 2 stars because the location is good AND the people in the front are angels! However the pharmacy people are b!+#@$!!!! The people in the pharmacy are young women who are as rude as they come. Especially the Caucasian one. The older Caucasian one was so sweet but I guess she retired or just doesn't work there as much. If you have any questions please don't ask the young caucasisn one anything or you will get yelled at. read more

This review is based on the "Minute Clinic" only. I called prior to my visit and was told there were no were patients waiting. I arrived, completed the kiosk submission. The kiosk submission was a smooth process, enter the basic visit information. After browsing for less than 5 minutes my name was called. The doctor was very attentive and thorough the entire visit, and very friendly. I was in and out within 30 minutes and I was able to fill the prescription there, within 5-10 minutes. A great experience! And, I know, when I cannot get into my primary care doctor I will give CVS Minute Clinic my next visit. read more

I think it's safe to say that many of you know what CVS is and what they carry. So, let's get down to the brass tacks regarding this particular CVS... 1) It's in EpiCentre. I can only imagine how convenient this is for visitors staying at neighboring hotels. If you need pretty much anything that may be found in a mini bar or a pharmacy, get it here. Save money. 2) The store is quite large and pretty clean. All good things. 3) With some uber convenient pharmacy/convenient stores, sometimes you'll see in intense markup in prices. I didn't notice that here. Same specials and similar pricing to its CVS counterparts on Graham St. and on South Blvd. 4) Don't expect parking to be validated, here or pretty much anywhere in EpiCentre unless you're seeing a doctor or a movie. Yes, I'm serious. 5) Candy and seasonal selection is pretty sweet. Nom. Enjoy CVS and ignore those mini bars, Charlotte visitors! read more

Located at the epi center where you can get all your basic items you need or want. This CVS is bigger then most, but it probably due to its location. I don't know what it is... it could be the carpet, but it feels dirty when I'm walking around. It could be the lighting or that it's just dusty. They have a security or cvs greeter at the front with security on lock. Not sure why but it makes it appear as a high theft place. This store has a unique vibe. There is a Walgreens opening across the street so I hope this spot can keep up. read more

For being in such a bustling spot this CVS wasn't great. It felt dingy and dirty and was missing a lot of stuff. I wandered around searching for a few particular beauty product items and finally left, empty handed. For all the video surveillance that made me feel like a criminal I don't think I saw one employee! Disappointing, wouldn't bother to go back. They don't have any parking so there's no point in stopping in unless you're in the Epicentre for some other reason...and even then, good luck on finding the thing you stopped in for. read more

Had some issues placing and then replacing photos at cvs and Micheal was so helpful! I had called and they got it sorted and checked if any of them printed wrong when it had gotten messed up. They showed me how to reprint them! A great cvs experience thanks to micheal! read more

This is location to pick up your needs and get out of there quickly. Employees are rude and assume you are self check out. No customer service!! Place is the worst CVS I've ever seen .. ever. Location, location, location. This is the best uptown spot for a pharmacy. MUCH better than the dinky little Rite-Aid across from the Atrium that always has a line about 4 deep. This is a spacious CVS with a nice big beauty section and NEW self-serve checkouts (which is awesome if you just need to run in super quick and buy something... or if you need embarrassing hemorrhoid cream or pregnancy tests). I'm a huge CVS fan anyways, so having this place so close is awesome. I also imagine it's great for "clubbing emergencies" like not enough glitter, or a broken heel on your sky-high heels (YOU try walking on that cobblestone pathway in heels after a few drinks and tell me how easy it is!). read more

Hello Friends!! Like a lot of my reviews, this place is near my place of employment. Its a toss up between this place and R.A. a little closer to my job. I come here for snacks and a sometimes trinket. This place has just added a self-checkout (dangerously too close to the exit/entrance IMO). This location sales alcohol. Very spacious, and Best of all...... CLEAN. I've been here a few times where the clerk was rather short and rude, but I chalked it up to them being of a older generation and upset that customers actually want service. Go Figure!! This store is definitely the biggest in the Epicentre, which makes no sense. We have a complex of clubs, bars, and restaurants, but the prime location goes to a pharmacy? I don't understand. If the Epicentre hadn't been opening in the property crunch I'm sure they would have preferred another tenant. That said, good job CVS for picking up such a sweet spot. Located in the Epicentre Mall, this CVS Pharmacy turned out to be a blessing for me! I'm staying at the Omni across the street and, while I have a minibar in my room, I suppose the staff didn't deem me responsible enough to give me the key so I can access its contents. Quite frankly, even if I were to access the contents, the prices are so out of whack that I wouldn't bother. The first night at the hotel I opted for tap water and ice so as not to open the alluring $6 bottle of Panna water sitting next to be my ice bucket. Thankfully, the second evening of my trip, I found this CVS Pharmacy right across the street from my hotel and I stocked up on ice cold water, ice cream sandwich and a variety of snacks. Woot! The only thing I was bummed is I couldn't pick up any spirits, but I gather that's state law, so I certainly won't hold CVS responsible for that. They do sell beer and wine, as far as I could tell. I must say I'm a bit surprised I'm the first person to review this place. read more

Just started using the CVS pharmacy here and so far so good. You never really know how cordial of a person you're gonna get so I was actually pleasantly surprised when everyone was uber nice. I had a little bit of an issue with my order and they called the doctor's office for me and straightened it all out while I was standing there. There's not a lot to ask of a pharmacy but this was a pretty big deal for me. The location of this particular store works best for me because of where I live. It's within walking distance. read more

I've been in Charlotte for a month for work, I'm staying at the Residence Inn and I've gone to this CVS several times to purchase things because it's right down stairs. Each and every time I've walked in I've been followed and watched like a hawk, to make sure I wasn't "stealing". Tonight I walked in without a purse, just my wallet and the associate walked to the aisle I was in, stood there, watched me pick my waters, watched me purchase them through self-checkout as if there wasn't over 10 other people in the store. Literally ALL the attention was on me. This is the worst feeling ever. Another woman of a different race walked in with me and she even noticed how they were watching me closely and asked me "what's wrong with them and shook her head". It's sad I couldn't even shop in peace. I'm sure people will say "just go somewhere else" but I work hard for my money and to be treated like as if they think I'm a criminal when I'm not even from Charlotte is ridiculous. read more

My rating is 80% based off of location. I work in uptown and there are not a lot of options when you need something outside of a coffee shop or food joint. It's really great to have a CVS Pharmacy located right in the center of the city. The store is smaller than most CVS locations, but it carries all the same products. I went to CVS minute clinic to complete screening for my employers wellness activity task. Minute Clinic staff was rude, condescending and out of line. Her underlining tone and unwillingness to assist was absurd. I will never use minute clinic or CVS pharmacy again. This type of treatment is not acceptable. read more

Staff is pretty nice but the Manager has no business being a manager. (This guy is late 40s bald, and has a goatee. He doesn't have any clue how to talk to customers. I went into cvs very sick and dehydrated due to stomach issues and was trying to check out at the self checkout and it was rejecting my extra bucks reward coupons (which I had earned at THIS) store the day before. The manager said that the coupons weren't linked to my cvs rewards card. I matter of factly said "They most certainly are I got them right here yesterday from these machines with the same reward card." The manager slowly turned to me and cocked his head and got defensive with me saying that I don't have to be that way. I asked him if he was the manager he said yes and I asked him if it's how he does business to get defensive to customers. I said lets just get this over with, I'm very sick and I'm sorry if I sound agitated. I actually apologized to the man. To that he said, "well you don't have to bite my head off about it". Which only got me more agitated so I left. This man doesn't have any idea how to talk to a customer. Good thing Walgreens was across the street. Id rather lose the $13.00 in extra bucks coupons than spend another minute with that ignorant "manager" at CVS. read more

I would give ZERO stars if that was an option. My husband and I are in town staying at the Omni hotel. I've had a terrible cough tonight and couldn't get to sleep. He ran over to the CVS (in pouring down rain) to get cough drops. They close at 12 and it was 11:56 and the security guard refused to let him in. My husband is a pharmacist at CVS in a neighboring town... his store is never allowed to close early. Disappointing. read more

This Minute Clinic charged the full $129 for an office visit and prescribed only 5 days of antibiotic treatment for an upper respiratory infection. A refill request was denied at the end of 5 days when sysmptoms were improved but not resolved. Going by their written protocol rather than by the patient symptoms and needs shows a lack of concern for the patient; only for $. They recommend a second visit. Surprise! Research shows that 5 days is the minimum dosage for the particular medication. Morover, the pharmacy records are years out of date even though I had previously updated my address and they had a new address on the record in front of them. The pharmacy has also out of date insurance information and argued with me over my coverage. I refuse to engage in insurance fraud. I have been on there "help" line for 15:45 minutes now. I have been staying at the Ritz and didn't want to spend $3 for a tiny bottle of soda. So I stopped by the nearby CVS. I saw it from my window and it was within walking distance. I picked up a few snacks while I was there and found that the prices were pretty reasonable. A few days later I made a second visit to buy a nail file, paid and forgot the item on the counter. I got back to my hotel room and realized that I forgot it. The receipt did not have a phone number to call so I had to walk back to CVS to see if someone turned it in. To my luck, the person behind me turned it in and I was able to get my nail file without any trouble. So in that regard, the service was great. If you are looking for a quick trip for necessitiies and snacks, CVS caters but you will most likely have to do self checkout. There is no one at the full service checkout counter. read more

Clean store and a few great employees, but this place is awful otherwise. Rarely a register open besides the self-checkout, which would be fine if 2 out of 3 weren't inoperable 90% of the time. The location is convenient, but most of the time I'd rather take the few extra steps to go to Walgreens. read more

The Store Manager at this location spent 45 minutes dealing with my incompetent Doctor's office to get my prescription faxed to the store. It is difficult to find that type of service these days. The store is clean and neat and it was the first time I've ever had a cashier at a CVS welcome me to CVS. read more

I went in to get a TB test done for volunteer work. The minute clinic staff was friendly. I was helped in a timely manner and in and out in less than 30 minutes. Also, the management staff is extremely friendly and asked if needed help the minute I walked through the door. I don't have an opinion regarding the pharmacy, but will write a different review if I ever visit for that service. read more
