We have used our South Blvd Cannon Pharmacy since the early days when it was called Sedgefield Drug. Awesome staff, very helpful, efficient, able to actually take a phone call and help with a problem. We are part time residents in the NC mountains. Twice I have caused myself distress by forgetting my scrip bottles. Twice one of the staff has assisted in a BIG way to either mail or overnight the scrips to my location! Of course, I paid the postage. But the effort they made to help me is worthy of praise and this rating! Not only this but every encounter with Cannon (and the post office) is always great. They stock many really nice greeting cards as well as many, many necessities in the store. They do vaccinations and have a BP test machine. read more

Very nice mom-and-pop pharmacy with friendly staff. And they are always more heavily staffed than the big corporate chain pharmacies, so they move customers/orders through quickly. I've never had to wait in line. Although I've never had to use it, they offer free delivery, which I'm sure is invaluable to some customers who don't drive or otherwise can't get out. Even though they are a smaller company, they offer automated phone and online refills for efficient service. They also do vaccinations. I also like that they have an assortment of products (dental floss, cotton balls, band-aids, etc.) that can save me from making a separate stop somewhere else. I also love the in-house USPS office. This pharmacy is usually great, but recently their customer service has seriously declined. In particular, there is a tech/cashier named Christine that often seems to struggle with communication. Christine usually has a bad attitude and gets very short with customers, which is hard to accept despite everyone else being awesome. She works the drive through and constantly leaves customers at the window awaiting status updates, sitting on her phone, and responding with clear annoyance when asked a question. I've not only experienced this but also witnessed her while in line treating others the same way. I have tried to not let one bad apple spoil the bunch but it's hard to keep coming back when you have a regular prescription she is the main customer facing person you deal with read more

I can't speak highly of the service, nor intent nor execution of phone calls + delivery + follow through to rid of identified and escalated problems. I meant to update in 2019. It's July 2021 and I'm comparing pharmacies and prices in Wisconsin against Cannon of Charlotte. Guess what?!? Before GoodRx - Cannon made true efforts to help us afford SSRI medications. Look, I could cry when I think of how much they helped ME (Ms. Cynthia really as she made the effort and outreach) and My Family. Advice: don't use your insurance and just pay cash. Because of Cannon, I leaned there is a minimum pricing with insurance and I consistently saved just paying out of pocket. Drive Thru a bonus. Everyone is nice. Even when they mess up they take ownership of said mishap and offer Cannon Bucks but that aside the response is sincere and thorough. Highly recommend. read more

This place is the perfect one stop shop drug store + USPS. The pharmacy is quick & their very friendly! They have a ranging selection of medicine, skin care (limited), first aid and snacks. There is also around 10 parking spots available, but I've never seen them packed. read more

I am a diabetic and have been purchasing my syringes there for some time now but I'm very much upset with the price gouging that's going on at the cannon store off south Blvd. I have been paying $2 and change for the syringes and have been paying that price for years and now the prices have more than doubled and I'm not a rich person to be able to afford to shop at this cannon pharmacy ever again.... another company that is price gouging . I have never utilized this business for the pharmacy, mainly just for the post office that is located here. The people who work in this contracted office are so nice and friendly. They move quickly and get you in and out, which is all I really need. One helped me price some packages for New Zealand, so that I knew how much they were going to cost and I really appreciated that. I couldn't ship them there, but knowing the price was just as helpful! The people who work in the pharmacy always say good morning or hello when I enter. What more can you ask for? Lol. My parents have been under the weather and Ive picked up their prescriptions in recent weeks on their behalf. The staff here is soooo genuine. They make sure that their customers understand their medications and exactly how the Insurance covered such medicine. I feel beyond grateful for the kind staff and pharmacists on staff who truly care about my parents as individuals and not just another number making their sales goals. They know my parents and truly care about how they are doing. This pharmacy is how pharmacies should be! They are re-setting the standard on how customer service should be. They are very different than the larger chain pharmacies. They also offer delivery to your home for prescriptions, which can be great for customers feeling under the weather. read more

Long story short: I get medication here all the time at a great price and when I had to visit Target to have a prescription filled- it was 300% more expensive. Honest to goodness, Jalen and Jon deserve to be promoted to customer experience specialists within the USPS. Never have I ever encountered better customer service from the Post Office, let alone, service has really gone downhill in a lot of industries. These gentlemen exude patience, are always fair about who is in line/who isn't, and they ALWAYS go the extra mile with tips on shipping/pricing/packaging. I had a bunch of things going out and Jon was kind enough to point out my label was for UPS, and then proceeded to TELL ME where to drop it off (next door) instead of like, "not here." Jalen, the other day, helped me with a wrong shipping label. I had incorrectly used the "to" sticker when he proceeded to carefully tear it off of the package get scissors, and RECUT the label so it would work on my package. I was dumbfounded and in shock. I have a neurotic cat. Yes, cat. My vet recommended Cannon and these folks are great. First, we tried a liquid suspension, but no good. They swapped out for pills without question! (Paid, but did not need new prescription) Also, I arrived for the replacement 20 minutes after they closed, but they had the new batch ready and let me in to make the switch. I have Been a member of cannon pharmacy since I moved back to NC in 2002 and I wouldn't trade them for the world. They have always been kind and courteous to me and to anyone that I have seen them speaking to, They make sure that I understand how to take my meds and if I should forget something I can always call.
