I am leaving a one-star review solely because of an interaction with someone named Peter, who appeared to be a team lead or manager. I was being helped by one of the most helpful and friendly employees I've experienced at this Target, and Peter approached and began watching the interaction intently in a way that felt unnecessary, uncomfortable, and undermining, as if he did not trust her to do her job. The dynamic was hard to ignore and came across as both misogynistic and racially biased in the way he monitored and interacted during what should have been a completely normal customer service interaction. It was blatantly uncomfortable to witness. As someone who shops here regularly, this was extremely off-putting and disappointing. If this is how employees are treated in front of customers, it raises concerns about the work environment behind the scenes as well. read more

This is a large Target in Charlotte and very busy ! It has a parking garage adjacent to it, so parking is not an issue. The nice thing about Target , they are all layed out very similar. Finding items is easy. The store was very clean and well organized. read more

This is one of the busiest targets in Charlotte. It's in a shared parking deck with plenty of parking however, you can get congested and crowded.. staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. The attempt to work quickly and they have a lot of people on the team.. because it's so busy it can be a little discombobulated with items around the store. They have a bigger selection of items that are offered.. The value is pretty good and they have weekly specials. You can check it on the app on the website. Happy shopping! read more

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH AT&T SALESPEOPLE AT THIS TARGET. They wanted us to switch from Verizon and are practiced and sweet, but their info is not fully explained. We left Target with only a slick-paper outline sheet (with smears from her writing no less), no $ figures, no specifics. We were trading 4 phones from Verizon, so lots of logisitics in there. Lost in translation, the fact that AT&T may take "8-12 weeks" to send reimbursement (apparently in form of gift card) came no where near covering cost from Verizon, ugly surprise was when Verizon drafted a 4-digit amount for those phones. We would have NEVER agreed to that deal if fully explained, who want to lend AT&T money??? Insult to injury, also found that AT&T was adding $10/mo. per line for open upgrades, plus piling on $45/phone activation fee. So, at this point, the amount of sales tax plus activation fees would take over a year to amortize (especially with the monthly upgrade fees). Again, we would have never agreed if we'd know full terms, also resentful that Target allows this activity in their store. read more

Another Target a different day. What's different about this target is that it is located with a parking garage attached. This is great if it's raining, however the front entrance is not covered which doesn't make much sense to me. Needless to say I went to the store once when it was raining and love the fact that I was getting out the car dry, but upon entering the store I got wet. The store is huge! You can always tell the theme of the month based on what they have up front. I will say this entrance is a little congested to me because you have the return area to your right and the checkout area to your left. You walk past that and then you get to the good stuff in the store. So there are people everywhere when you enter. Other than that it's just like any Target that has one stop shopping and everything you need. I do like the fact that they have a garden section in the rear with the Hilton Carter collection. They do need to have someone that will take care of the plants though. If you're going to sell real plants in the store,you need to make sure they are being watered properly. They have a huge beauty area. Actually, the entire store just seemed enlarged compared to my local store back home. I've been here on several occasion while visiting family and definitely recommend to others. read more

They have everything a standard Target has, but they also have a food/beverage section as well. So you can grab your necessities as well as go food shopping. This isn't my favorite target to go to just simply because of the location & parking. I still go just because it's close to my job. If you go during lunchtime, traffic is very heavy in this area & you can guarantee the store will be packed and parking will become a nightmare. They have a parking deck where the target parking is on the 3rd floor, but I usually park on the first floor just to avoid the craziness of actually parking right in front of the store on the 3rd floor. I usually take the stairs as opposed to the elevator because the elevators do take a while. The store overall I like it. They have a variety of things and are well stocked. Cleaned and organized. I always find what im looking for. I believed they re organized the store, and now there's an Ulta section inside, and the kitchen home decor is right in the entrance of the store as opposed to being in the back now. The makeup section has expanded quite a bit. Overall, it's not a bad store. I'm just not a fan of the parking situation. read more

One of my favorite discoveries of the pandemic is how awesome Target's curbside pickup is. We're fully vaccinated now, but I still use it because it's more convenient than going inside and doing my own grocery shopping. I really like that they have no minimum order and you don't have to select a pickup time. You just order and your groceries are ready within 2 hours. You have until the end of the next day to pick them up. This isn't our normal Target, but we stop here sometimes when we're out running errands. I wouldn't regularly come to this target because the parking deck is annoying. read more

This is a smaller Target but they have a great home section. Parking can be tough at certain times of the day but it has an attached parking garage so it's great for rainy days. There is a small grocery section and the prices on most of their grocery items are cheaper than Harris Teeter and Publix. NEVER use the target app, my account was hacked and my giftcards were spent. I spoke to 11 agents, one of them being a "higher up" and they still weren't allowed to refund me. Thank god I had giftcards on my account so the idiots used those instead of my giftcards but considering that they wouldn't even refund a loyal customer $50 I will never shop there again and I will be canceling my credit card with them. This target stays stocked. Most times they have everything I need or I'm looking for, and if they are out of it, and it's something specific, I'll come back a few days later and they will have restocked the item. It's super clean here. And despite it always being very busy here, they seem to manage keeping areas and shelves mostly organized and easy to find things. Even on the busiest days, this Target has enough staff working that it still stays relatively organized and stocked. They clearly have no Loss Prevention department and you'll see old shoes left behind where the thieves swapped them out for a new pair. I went to see if this location had some Black History items. I was very disappointed. The section was so small, I passed right by it! For this location to have expanded their clothing section, seeing the poor selection for Black History Month was very disheartening. Other locations have their selections up front and have a larger selection of items. I felt like it was really an afterthought. I have a background in Retail Logistics and for me to have passed the tiny section was not a good look. I hope they decide to fix this. read more

This Target made such an impression on me. I loved being there! Not only was it huge, it had a Starbucks a Pizza Hut and the parking lot is well lit, safe and parking is plentiful. It reminded me of an airport parking lot. The lines were short. Lots of self service stalls. This Target had friendly associates around and ready to help you find anything that you need, and get you help quickly. They have an outdoor eating area that looks incredibly European. It's situated on an upstairs balcony/patio that gives you a lovely birds eye view of this gorgeous Queen City. Eat here and get your dose of Vitamin D (sunshine) on. Hey! I'm always intrigued by Target stores that are not "the usual" store format. This store, with its attached parking garage was definitely one of the more unusual locations I've come across in my travels. Outside of that, there wasn't anything special about this store. Unless you count the Self Checkout bouncer, we didn't have a single interaction with any employees, despite visiting the men's clothing, electronics, and grocery sections. I think that person would have been better served as an actual cashier, reducing the line wait... However the store was in decent shape overall and we found the items we needed without issue, so three stars it is. read more

Target continues to step up their game. They are continuously innovating their store to capture the customers needs and desires. Target sells everything a typical large box store sells. Their product however is of higher quality. With that their prices are higher. They say, you get what you pay for, right? This Target has a Starbucks inside. No complaints there. :). Anyway I appreciate that they keep all shapes and sizes in mind. For example their bikini tops don't stop at a large or a 34B. Rather they carry sizes such as 38DD. That's so important to women who May have large breast and a small bottom. A very urban location for a Target and therefore, they have their own parking deck. It's a little off putting if you're used to the more suburban locations with the massive parking lot out front. Once you get past that, it's a standard Target with a small grocery section (not a SuperTarget) and everything else that you would expect to find in the store. The employees that I interacted with were friendly and helpful - I wasn't able to find a pump bottle of Purell on my own. The aisles were clean and bright and everything was well stocked. It pains me to say this.....but I hate this Target. In Happy Gilmore, Chubbs tells Happy to envision his happy place which is a midget on a unicycle and chicks with beer right? Well my happy place is Target. With their addition of Starbucks to the roster, fashionable, wallet friendly clothes and clearance racks galore, Target makes my heart smile. I can go in looking for paper towels yet come out $150 worth of stuff that is too good to pass up. However, anytime I go to this Target, I just get mad and I don't like that. I don't know if it is the skewed parking set up they have (tip park on the first or second level then use the stairs to go to the main level), picked over clothing or the occasional cashier who acts like they are being bothered when you need to check out but I just don't dig it. I've been going here ever since they opened & can't believe I never wrote a review! First off, not a fan of the parking deck. Hard to get in & out & the drive through lanes aren't big enough. So during busy times, be prepared to wait or get grumpy people, who cut you off or scream at you for taking "their" space. I've never had an issue inside the store. And add to your wallet, so that if you don't have your card you can use your app to pay. *If you don't have a REDCARD then you should get one of those as well, it's just linked to your bank account. You save 5% on everything! Every transaction. Midtown - As for this location. It's not a super target, only one entrance into the store. They are located at the P3 level of a parking garage, but there's one entrance off the street on Kings. They now have 4 parking spots up front, for online order pickup. Most of the employees are nice, some aren't, kinda how it is everywhere these days. The store isn't the cleanest, but it's alright. The carts are gross, they should def have them power washed every so often (well Bc birds in the parking garage). And of course there's a Starbucks at the front. read more

They've upped their craft beer game too as they now have some solid Ballast Point selections. It's right in the Midtown shopping center so it can get pretty packed. Ah...Target. Is there anything better? People always know where to find me: either at Target or the Gap. I guess that explains the holiday gift certificates. This Target in the new Midtown shopping area is especially clean, even by Target standards. And it's nice to have a Target close to Uptown and Dilworth. If I'm in one of those areas, stopping here is a must. I can always find covered close-by parking in their parking garage and there's always something I need (or want)!
