You informed me that the item was donated and even identified where it was supposedly donated. However, when I contacted that organization, I was told they never received my furniture. That raises a very legitimate question: if the item was not received by the organization you identified, what actually happened to it? At this point, I am looking for transparency and documentation. If the item was donated, please provide proof of the donation, including the date and recipient. If it was not donated, then please explain where it went.Your response focuses heavily on the contract, but it does not address the discrepancy regarding the item's final disposition. As a customer, I have every right to question why the information I was given does not appear to be accurate.From my perspective, being told an item was donated to a specific place when that place states they never received it creates serious concerns. I hope you can understand why that would lead me to question whether the item was actually donated, sold, or otherwise disposed of in a manner different from what I was told. Went on a Saturday afternoon just to look around. Well 2.5 hours later I had armfuls of "stuff"! Great random things and fun! Prices are great too! Selection of items is amazing. Now the best part of my visit was checking out, the cashier was friendly and helpful, but there were 3 other ladies there, and they were fantastic! Yes, the Treasures are hidden. Don't be in a hurry as your stroll through. If you're looking for something specific ask Catherine or Ollie in the front, they usually have a good handle on what's in stock or will help you look for it. My first time in I found just the item I was looking for, a solid wood component rack with glass front doors and solid back with pass through for stereo accessory wires. As a bonus, I found a solid oak wine rack that was in perfect condition. The next day, I went back and met the owner, Catherine and we talked about a piece of furniture I would like to consign. She viewed the photos I had and we decided on a plan forward. This place is different than most of the other area consignment shops in that they don't want to buy the piece outright and try to negotiate you down. Cat is open to having a conversation with you to create a win/win. The prices are very reasonable and they will negotiate with you as well. They do have a truck so you have the option of having your purchase delivered or picked up of course there is a fee but it's reasonable. If you have not been to Hidden Treasures yet, on South Boulevard near Scaleybark, you need to go. I have been to many thrift stores in the Charlotte area, and no one compares to the variety of the merchandise and prices you will find there. It is truly a hidden gem in Charlotte. Periodically they have great sales on top of their everyday low prices. It feels like Christmas morning every time I go because they are always getting in new items. If you are thinking about having these folks do your Estate Sale, RUN. My sister signed on with them. She had a 4 bed, 3 bath house and when they were done with all their fees and 60/40 split she netted $75. I spent $300 with them myself. It was heartbreaking and since they don't settle for a week or so after the sale you have no idea you are getting screwed. I don't understand why this place has such horrible reviews! I went in there recently, and yes it is super messy and nothing fancy. BUT if you enjoy browsing and looking for "hidden treasures" then this is the spot. Their products are insanely cheap, and they have amazing deals. I purchased over 75 pieces of vintage crystal for less than $20. The staff was super friendly, and they have a cute little corgi that greets you at the door. No complaints here, it's exactly what I expect out of a thrift/consignment store. read more

Do not shop here! Dishonest and money grubbing. The manager told me the employee Pastor Francisco Fatima Gonzalez was not employed by him but he allows her to check people out and take their money. I offered to pay for the table I wanted but was told Fatima would HOLD it so my boyfriend could take a look at it. I asked if I could pay by phone and was told yes I had till 6pm. At 5:35 my boy friend called to tell me Fatima tried to sell him the same table for a hundred dollars more then what she quoted me. When I called up Fatima she told me she could not hold the table and it was already sold. The manager stated the table was still in the store but he would not allow me to purchase it and would give me a good deal on something else. I find it amusing that he witnessed the entire encounter between Fatima and I and never stepped in to correct her or ask me to pay. I'm now told he's store does not hold items and they must be paid for to hold. This store is full of broken , dirty and misused items. If you find something with a price Fatima will try to wiggle out of the purchase if she thinks she can get a high price for the item. I was also accused of switching tags on a purse which she refused to sell until she called the person who owned the booth to confirm it was the right price. It's sad that neither the manager or Pastor Fatima respect their customers. Worst Thrift Store In The City!!!!! I'd give it zero stars if I could. read more

Prices here are not good at all. Some things I saw here: A well-used hook for towels and/coats for $12. Paint was chipped where the nails were nailed in, not in great shape but reuseable. You can get a brand new hook wrack for $12, maybe even cheaper! Used bags were $20 and up. I did not see a bag that was in great shape. There were a lot of fake designer bags priced at $50 and up... you can get a NEW fake designer bag for much cheaper, at least I have in my experience. Theses are just two things I saw, there are much more. Prices were way too high for the products being sold. Like, almost mind boggling high for what you get. read more

Tom is a very nice guy let me start off by saying that. But his estate sale side of the business is not very good at all. We had a 2600 sq ft house full of furniture with alot of extra furniture as well that we were living in. We live in South Park. 4 bedrooms the only items we took from them were 2 beds and a mirror and 2 side tables. We left everything else. 1 living room that had a couch 2 chairs bar bar stools art/pictures on all the walls, all furniture was in decent shape. dining room with pictures, kareo cabinet and an entire 6 person dining room table with leaf, it had a few scratches but a very nice piece. kitchen had a table and 4 chairs, small TV, stainless steel fridge which sold for $700 and a bunch of kitchen items. back porch with a 6 person aluminum tables and chairs that was in very good condition. 2nd living room with couch, love seat recliner, poker/bumper pool table all in very good condition as well as picture on walls. extra room with armories. we had so many small pieces as well. 2 lap tops, an entire baseball card collection, sports memorabilia, clothes, luggage, bike, and the list goes on. the weather for the weekend was cold and raining and that was the excuse i got. So lets just say an entire house filled and we received less than $1,900. this is after the 60/40 split I would not use them for an estate sale again. read more
