Recently I placed a phone order to refill 2 prescriptions, for some reason the auto refill did not process correctly. Received text that ONE order was ready. Odd, where is the other one. Today I called the pharmacy 'system' to see if second prescription was ready too. System did not recognize another Rx. So i tried to reach the pharmacy at Walgreens on 1660 Winchester in Campbell to see why only one of my two RX's was filled. Was on hold 21 minutes with recording saying "all our pharmacists are busy ... we will be with you shortly". (Ya, right!). After 23 min. phone rings again several times (here is hoping the pharmacist will answer....NOT) it rolls over to a music recording. After 34 minutes the systems disconnects. CRAZY!! I am writing this because this is at least the 3rd time in a year with lousy service via phones. Of course they say short staff due to Covid or it is a Monday and we are very busy. Too many excuses. I went online to refill that second Rx. Will wait and see if this way is successful. They should have gotten it right on the first request!!! read more

They advertise that they have a drive-through window for the pharmacy but I'm sitting here now and I ring the call button three times and there are 123456 people working and not one person has acknowledged me in five minutes and the person behind me already drove away so my advice to you is do not use the drive-through at this pharmacy because they suck because they haven't even acknowledge my presence. Would be nice if they at least let me know they see that I'm here and not ignore me. Very RUDE. I don't mind waiting as I'm sure they are busy but acknowledge me and tell me they see me and be with me then. Note: when pressing call button u can talk into it and that will get attentions rather than letting it ring forever as they don't seem to hear that. read more

(Review is for pharmacy) DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED A PRESCRIPTION FILLED!!!! I've been here a few times already and every time I've come here, I've experienced a problem. Here are a few examples: 1) They called me to tell me that my prescription was ready. I get there and one of them isn't ready. So, I have to wait. Huh? What's the purpose of filling it online or having a drive thru if you have to wait!?!? This has happened twice. 2) The wait is always long. What makes it worse is that you wait a half hour in a line only 3 deep and when it's finally your turn, the tech goes into the back and doesn't come out for awhile. No "I'll be back" or anything. 3) There is 1 lady who is very rude. It's like she's the pharmacy God. And my luck, I always get her. The other techs are only rude, not very rude. The reason I originally picked this Walgreens was that it was open 24 hours. Well, the store still is. But, not the pharmacy. Anyway, I don't mean to be nitpicky, but with any business, I want to have at least decent customer service. This place doesn't have it unfortunately. I noticed I haven't written a new review in awhile, so here it goes....my favorite place since I've been out sick with the flu for a week now! Took me just a day to realize I should visit my doctor for a prescription of meds. I have no voice, since I lost it yesterday. My mom had to do all the work for me early today for an appointment and choose which drugstore did I want to pick up my meds. Of course, Walgreens is the closest to my place. I didn't have to wait long for my prescription. The pharmacist was friendly and helpful. She had asked if I wanted to purchase any other OTC drugs. I ended up buying cough drops, 2 boxes of tissue, theraflu, and OJ. I've been meaning to buy more, but my room is beginning to look like prison. Ugh! read more

This pharmacy is the worst! The line to pickup meds has NEVER taken me less than 20 mins. And forget talking to a pharmacist over the phone. Was on hold for 8 mins and then got hung up on. Trying to call again just to ask a question and don't foresee getting through to anyone anytime soon. Go elsewhere for your pharmacy needs. Update; ten mins later got a live person on the phone. This is my local Walgreens and am disgusted with the management. This is a busy Walgreens on the corner of Hamilton and Winchester 2. They almost always have lines 4-5 people deep in each line pharmacy or standard checkout. Here is an example: I was just there today 1/9/13 there was a line 5 people deep in the standard checkout area and the boss just walks along side of the line and does NOTHING. There definitely making money here but not supporting the store to be rightfully staffed. Bottom Line they need to hire more people and get some better management here. read more

Trinh the clerk at the pharmacy is beyond rude. An elderly woman in front of my wanted to pay and give exact change and Tranh barked at her that she had already entered in the computer. The simple and courteous thing to do would have been to just do the simple math and let the woman pay as she wanted. The reason I go to this pharmacy is because it's close to my apartment and because it has a drive thru pharmacy.. Don't go in! First off, the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, this is the only good thing that I can say about the pharmacy. The waits are impossibly long - both inside and the drive thru. They really need to have more than one person assisting customers on week nights. Delays have been an ongoing problem for over a year. Furthermore, and this is way more serious, I have received medication with improper dosage instructions. The directions on the container stated I should use two per day, instead of one. I quickly realized I would not have enough medication to last the month and I returned got the correct instructions. But come on people's lives are at stake! I have just changed to an on line option, so I don't have to deal with this every month. Please be careful and check your prescription before you leave. read more

This store has plenty of characters walking through with the location it has. It's not quite on the poor side of town but close enough to draw in a diverse amount of people. That being said, sometimes it can be quite an interesting experience waiting in line next to the homeless man and the pretentious, Dolce and Cabana sunglasses wearing soccer mom. In all seriousness though, this place is pretty well stocked and is open 24 hours. Which is great because insomniacs need there snacks...and makeup...and other random items! :) Just don't use the bathrooms here. read more

Whenever I have a prescription to pick up, I go to this Walgreens location. I know most times, especially during the winter season, pharmacies get pretty busy, the line's overwhelming and the last thing you want to do is wait.. but with my experiences here compared to other pharmacies, they're always efficient and I've never had to go through a horrible wait time regardless of how busy it was. If you're shopping around, the staff here are very friendly and always willing to accommodate you if you need any help. read more

OK I have to be honest and tell you I mostly shop here between 11pm -3am I love the idea of getting quick easy parking, not alot of people and ofcourse I am in my pajamas sometimes when I am looking for my mid night munchies! This Walgreen's has the best stocked cosmetic department around. No.7, Soap & Glory, Botanic, Your Good Skin, Vichy, LA Roche Posay. The make up wall especially has plenty of choices NYX, Physicians Formula plus all your drugstore basics. The fragrance choice is amazing, very high end stuff, and plenty of gift sets for Christmas. Meant to write this a week ago. Drove up to this store on a weeknight at 9:45P (it is closest to me). There was already another angry man standing at the front door locked out of Walgreens who said he had been there for at least 5 minutes making signs to them to let him in. Another woman showed up and all three of us stood there watching the employees helping multiple customers in line inside the store. So, when a young female employee finally deigned to come to the door to let a customer who had been inside, out of the store, this is what she said. I am not joking. "We are closed. We are allowed to close early when there are --- no --- customers." Clearly, lying to our faces while she lets customers out of the store (we had just watched them being rung up by her) and we are all waiting outside the store. I started laughing as, of course, what are you going to do when someone obviously doesn't give one damn about their job. The guy got angrier. I did consider pushing past this shitty employee, but didn't...this time. However, if this happens again, I will. I did lodge a complaint during the day, but I have no idea if they did anything. Also, I tried to call evening times, but I believe this same girl is manning the registers somewhat regularly (and leaving early) and she just lies and says the manager is on vacation lol. Anyway, I ended up going to CVS and if anyone at this Walgreens gives a damn, apparently, you're gaining a rep for sending your customers away angry for closing early. CVS employees near Whole Foods are aware of this Walgreens location's shoddy behavior. If you guys have to close stores, maybe look at what your employees are doing. I'm not shopping at Walgreens any longer. CVS, though higher prices, at least is not wasting my gas or time. Worst service. We went for COVID-19 test around noon on Aug 12. We wanted a report for travel. Sample was collected and told that within 24 hours, will be sent to the Lab. Even after 32+ hours sample was not sent to the lab. Management needs to do something. read more

I am pleasantly surprised when I have gone to this Walgreens Drug Store. I was in the area, and needed to get an elbow support item, and when I walked in the store, it was very clean. The employees are working around the store and I was asked if I needed some assistance, which I did not so moving to the back end of the store is where I needed to go. Once I got to the area where all the support items for feet, elbows, knees, I began to look for the item I needed, (which I had done some research on Walgreen.com) once I found the item in question, I was surprised that it was half priced, so of course I picked it up and raced to the front counter to purchase the item, of course once making a detour down the candy aisle and picking up a soda too. When I got to the front counters and the line was six people deep, the manager was on the intercom system calling for more register personal, which they arrive quickly, this would include the photo counter register personal. The wait to purchase my item was only 1 minute long and I was one my way eating my candy, having my soda and all with my elbow support too. read more

My doctor called in prescription to Pharmacy and advised they would call when ready to pick up in p.m. After not receiving a call or text, I texted back to early text in the week regarding prescriptions being ready. I received an auto text back and a phone # that was their call center who was nice enough to connect me to the main line locally. Waited for 20 minutes and hung up. Called again later closer to closing time and waited 1 hour...unacceptable...yes 1 hour on phone going down from 3, then 2, then 1, then 0 calls in front of me...but still no one answered?!?! Drove to store and waited in line, fulfilled order (wasn't ready), and paid...all while still on hold on the main phone line. Looked around for a manager or phone to discuss why no one was picking up their main phone line? But no luck. Seriously, why have a phone line if you're not going to pick it up. Very frustrating. Pharmacy is slow and inefficient. read more

Services at the Walgreen pharmacies suck, and you already know that, but this one really takes the cake. I waited an hour to get a vaccine on a weekday afternoon when most people are working--imagine what the wait would be like on weekends or after 5. The staff is completely incompetent--do they interview the people they hire? The whole time I was waiting there they helped 6 or 7 customers, and with EVERY single one of them there occurred a problem which held up the line. The pharmacist was the only one who looked like he knew what he was doing, and he was multitasking like crazy because his assistants were messing up forms, insurance info, drug info, etc. It was just a circus. read more

DRIVE THRU PHARMACY!! I have never had a problem filling a script here, they are ready when they say they are. Never go inside! Lines get long in the evenings. I have never spoken with a pharmacist, so I can't comment on how helpful they are. Not the largest walgreens ever, but the photo people are prompt and the store is clean! read more

It is unbelievable how horrible this drugstore is!! Today was my last time going there! I have been taking the same 8 prescriptions for years & suddenly they question everything. Holding up refills & completely ignoring my account which says not to auto refill anything. They hit me with a barrage of emails, text messages & recorded phone calls reminding me to pick up my prescriptions. They never carry some of the things I use regularly. I spend about $400 every couple of months there & would expect a little more cooperation. read more

First of all, I used to work for Walgreens and I was a lead. So I am very familiar with their return policies. I came here to return a few items for store credit without a receipt that I purchased at a different location, simply because this location is closer to my home. The manager or lead on shift that "helped" me didn't even try to look up my sale. And tried to feed me a lie about how if she has no product movement in her store with the particular items that she can't take it back. I reiterated that I didn't purchase it from that location and that there is no way for her to look up product movement in other locations. Not to mention the time it would take her to look up product movement for two items in her store. It's easier to just give the store credit. It's not like they're losing any money. The used items get sent out for credit from vendors anyway. She must have forgotten that she works in CUSTOMER SERVICE. There is something terribly wrong with a stores culture and morale if they treat their customers like criminals. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back to this location again. read more

My physician called in a refill prescription. I received an email notification confirming the refill. I spoke to someone to provide more information about the insurance. 24 hours later, I called to check since I did not receive notification that it's ready for pick up. I called and they can't find the physician order in their system. It's GONE! I had to push the pharmacist to call the physician on call before they close for I really need the medication. I normally don't write reviews for chains, but this is the exception that makes the rule. The service at this place is amazing (He said sarcastically). I came to the welcoming doors of Walgreens on Monday to print two 2x2 photos for a passport. It was past midnight, so I understood that the machines were "shut down". The photo clerk, along with the manager, assured me that my photos would be ready by 7:00 the next day. So, I came back, at 9:00, and the machines were still "shut down". No one had even made an effort to print the photos. If you want a passport photo, go some place else. read more

Worse than standing in line at the DMV. Incredibly unbelievably slow pharmacy!! It took me 1 HOUR to sort out my prescription refill. First, they have ONE person manning both the front area and the drive through. And she acts as if there aren't any people standing in line where there are in fact 5 people waiting and the line is growing. There is NO SEPARATE prescription drop off section, so if you're waiting in line to pick up your prescription and someone in front of you is trying to figure out their insurance coverage, add another 10 min or so per person to the already 20 min wait in line. Isn't there a law regarding patient privacy? If so, they're violating it because there's no separate drop off area, so you're trying to refill your prescription and giving your personal details while the person next to you is paying for his prescription and can't help but overhear b/c he's literally standing 2 feet away from you. I finally get to the front 30 minutes later and say that I need to REFILL my prescription. She asks for my details and says she doesn't have anything for me. I say, "You mean you don't have any prescriptions for me on file?" She said,"No, we don't have anything for you to pick up." Seriously? She works in the pharmacy and is less competent than someone at McDonalds. Dangerous! And then she tells me that I don't have any prescription refills available. So she tells me to wait (wait?!? After already waiting 30 minutes!). Another 15 minutes go by and I ask her the status. That's when she remembers and calls out to someone who I thought was a pharmacist. But woman #2 puts me through the same questions and concludes again that I have no refills available. DUH!!! WHAT IS the point of this? Woman #2 says that I need to talk with the pharmacist. When I FINALLY talk with the pharmacist, it's sorted out rather quickly and he says it take 15-20 minutes to pick up. So I finish and go stand back in line. Because by the time I get to the front, I know it's going to be about 15-20 minutes. The upside of this hour-long ordeal is that I had the time to write this review. So hopefully my wasted time was sacrificed to save yours. Walgreen's retail space is one of the smaller ones. read more

Review for their Photo Department. I don't know why I keep coming back here. I know it's close, but there is also another rome close by as well. I only order online. First time I ordered was the night before & came by the next day in the evening. Even though I had an e-mail saying that they were ready, they were not. The girl working there is an unhappy looking girl. She obviously hates working there and has no urgency. I told her my last name & she looked all over and dragged herself around the photo place looking for them. I guess they didn't have it. I had to tell her "I'll come back if they're not ready". I never got an answer until the manager told her to ring up the next people. He told me to wait and I waited. I guess he was printing them there at the time. That was annoying because he could've told me he was printing them instead of just letting me hover around. Finally I got my photos and the girl gave me a $5 discount for the trouble. Yesterday morning I ordered some more photos & cards. It said they would be ready around 5, so I swung by around 8pm and the same girl was at the counter. She said "our internet isn't working, so we cannot print any online orders.. I tried to call, but it didn't go through because our phone ins't working either". UGH. So, Today I came by and it was some woman working. I asked her if the internet was working again. Instead of answering me, she started looking through the "O" bin. I told her, "it's RAMALHO.. RA", she was ignoring me. I don't know what she thought she heard, but I had to tell her multiple times that it was Ramalho and to stop going through the "O" bin. She finally heard me and I asked her again if the internet was working. She said yes it's working. I told her about what happened yesterday and she said "That's too bad" OK? That's it? No apology. Then she went on to tell me I should wait for the e-mail next time. Sorry. I was out and about all day yesterday to even think about checking my e-mail. She was rude and didn't have any sympathy for me. My gas is precious! Next time I'm using a different Walgreens. 1st time, shame on you.. 2nd time shame on me! read more

The regular store isn't so bad, but the pharmacy is just awful. Expect a long wait and grumpy employees who seem to hate their jobs ... and you. I don't know why they are so actively hostile but perhaps it's because they are constantly understaffed. They also don't seem to have any interest in resolving customer service issues. They just shrug and tell you to speak to someone else. The drive-thru feature seems like it would be nice ... but it's not. You still have to wait a long time and then deal with the same people who seem to despise you. read more

Wow. I did shoppping here for 40 min while browsing their ad...... Silly me i didnt know there weekly ad ends today. Saturday at midnight. I checked out at 12:01. Trying to take advantage of the register rewards. I wanted to ring up everything one at a time. Big fat Erik who been working here since 2006 gave me am attitude asking me if i was going to ring up everything at once. And he stated that its not acceptable that i am checking out everything on separate check and they wouldnt honor the sale price because it expired 2 minutes ago..........
