I stopped into this Walgreens to get some passport photos. I came here because the CVS at Parmer and Dessau did not have a camera to make passport photos like they advertise. Most of the low ratings for this place are pretty much aimed at the pharmacy. The photo shop area will get your passport photos done in just minutes and they even will take your old 35 mm film and send it in for processing. They do offer other services which you'll see in the photos below. read more

Had to pick up a few household items and over the counter medications on a weekend around noon. The facility was pretty clean, both inside and outside. The aisles were organized. The workers at the pharmacy were nice and friendly! There was a long wait time though, but it was probably a busy part of the day for them. The cashier at the front was also nice. Plenty of parking outside despite it being a busy location! read more

I came to drop off a package at the fedex inside, and the older caucasian lady with glasses was extremely rude. She remained on the phone as I approached the FedEx kiosk, and continued taking calls with me just standing there. She did not look up to acknowledge me or even ask how she could assist, or tell me someone would be with me if she was unable to assist. A kind gentleman from the front saw me standing there and came to come assist me although she was standing right in front of me. She then decided to help me because the gentleman had to go back to the front to assist other customers, and was so unhelpful and rude that I ended up going to a different location. PLEASE save your time coming to this location if you are in need of actual assistance. read more

Worst Walgreens ever. Drive thru? Broken! Staff? Incompetent and constantly yelling and arguing. Prescriptions? Maybe. They often lose them!! Lines? Yes!!!! Lots of them and long too. This location needs to be erased from the earth. read more

DOCUMENT PRINTING You spend time downloading the app, uploading your docs waiting for them to print and their INK SUCKS! They say "our printer is not the best" but they don't let you know that before you do all of this. Yes it wasn't even $3 but I could have have somewhere else if I would've know they're ink was going to be fade on my document. They say "im sorry" knowing dam well they do not care. Dont print at this location. read more

Their pharmacy says they close at 6pm on Sundays (both online and on the phone) but I got there and the pharmacist left at 4pm. Do not get prescriptions here especially if they are time sensitive because they close whenever they want. read more

Pharmacy always takes forever to get to anyone. They're always doing computer work that can't seem to wait for patients in line. There is no one on front of me and it always takes an inordinate amount of time to be heard. I am changing my pharmacy. read more

I walked in with a prescription sent by a doctor for my toddler. They must have noticed who and what it was because the young lady at the counter and her team went out of their way to make sure it was filled. We thought they closed at 9, but they close at 8. It was literally three minutes to closing and they took care of us. This was even after having a long line of customers! That meant so a frightened mom with a very sick toddler. Thank you so much to the young lady who works there read more

The pharmacy team is incredible! They are treated poorly by customers and are always customer focused and very helpful in a very high throughput location. Be nice to them! read more

This Walgreens always seems to be soooo understaffed. I used to get meds here and transferred a few years ago but had to come due to a med that's out of stock. I just don't understand why it always takes them so long to clear a queue compared to other Walgreens - drive through or walk in doesn't make a diff. read more

Needed some diapers last minute and saw that they close at midnight. My friend and i got there at 10:58 pm because online it shows they close at MIDNIGHT. We walked in and we were the only ones there after another customer had just finished paying. Over the intercom when we walked in, one of the ladies working that night said they were closing in 2 minutes and it wasn't even midnight. As we're grabbing the diapers, one of the other employees who seemed younger told my friend with an ATTITUDE "We're closing" and my friend told her "okay we're grabbing diapers and going to the front" and as my friend is walking back toward me that girl says "We're closed!". No need for the attitude especially when she had been acknowledged already. If they are closing at 11 PM, the times needs to be changed online because that was ridiculous. This was on April 3rd, 2025 at approx. 10:58 PM. 2 ladies were working that night unsure of their name. read more

Avoid this pharmacy. Always long lines because they lose prescriptions and are slow and unorganized. Expect at least a half hour wait even if there's 1 car in front of you. read more

The location is super duper close to my apartment so I frequent here a lot when we need one or two small things. I've never really had an issue finding what I need, and the store is always clean. What I do have an issue with is the staff. It's inconsistency and lack of management. The staff I have encountered has been unprofessional, right down to shift leaders and even management. They just openly discuss private things in front of customers or loud enough for us to hear them. It's unsettling at times. Now, this isn't EVERY time I go, but it has happened often enough for me to speak on it. If you're in the area and have forgotten something while out and about- stop here. They likely have it. There's also a red box at this location and if you need to stop for a spell, there's a plaza that connects with a bar. read more

the pharmacy never gets your prescriptions in on time, does not inform you when they are out of stock, forgets to call or send a text when the prescription is ready, does not follow-up with the provider if there is an issue with the directions that prevented them from filling it out, -- they just don't do their job. read more

Poor Customer Service! I did a propane exchange today. The lady all she did was opening the cage and closed it. She was standing there let me do all the work: taking the new one out, putting the old one back in. Excuse me, lady! You're not my manager, and I'm your customer. What kind of customer service is that?! If the new propane tank is heavy, at least she should have taken the empty one (which is ligher) back in. She just stood there, watching me do it! I'm switching to H.E.B ever! Their price is cheaper too! read more

Consistently slow and disorganized Update over a year later: it's still the worst I've ever been to. -The pharmacy is incompetent. I miss the Target pharmacy so much! They perpetually overcharge me when the staff doesn't read their screens. I called once to check on a refill and was on hold for 18 minutes. When I told the pharmacist I was thinking of changing to CVS, she said, "No problem." Ok, no problem. I gave you guys a few months to improve and you've gotten worse. I'm going to try CVS. read more

the pharmacy is terrible. i waited in line for 30 minutes when there were only 2 people in front of me. they refused to refill my prescription and only gave me a 4 day supply. and then the pharmacist tech tells me "you can leave now, have a good day" with an such attitude while i am asking a question is so RUDE. these walgreens workers suck i don't recommend this location. read more

I just went to the Tech Ridge Walgreens and a woman who worked there came right up next to me to put stickers up. I let her know it made me uncomfy she was so close and Walgreens employees of all people should be abiding to the 6 foot distance rule and she got an attitude and put her hand and finger up at me and said ok miss. I felt it rude she wouldn't understand this and I know the gentleman in photo overheard it. Y'all can do better, that lady especially. read more

The pharmacy is severely lacking in customer service and competence. If you look through these reviews 95% of the negative reviews are for the pharmacy. Things definitely need to change in the pharmacy department because it's damaging the stores image as a whole. The female pharmacist and female pharm tech with the bob haircut are incredibly rude. My prescription was filled incorrectly, even though the specific medication I need is noted on my chart. This caused Me to go almost a full week without my medication that I'm supposed to take daily, it was a huge inconvenience. I had to get a whole new script from my doctor and pay another $68. This inconvenience put me out $136. I went in a few days ago to pick up cough medicine that was prescribed. I pay out of pocket so they apply a discount. I had a good rx discount code that made my medication come out to $11.20 . I showed the coupon to the female tech with the bob haircut, she looked at it and said "uh, your prescription is $11.97 sooo." She basically decided she couldn't be bothered to type in my coupon code because the difference was only .77cents... regardless of the slight price difference, my coupon should have been honored no questions asked. If I can find a cheaper price, you can bet I'm gonna take it. I have noticed the pharmacy tends to be understaffed. Maybe hire more pharmacist and pharm techs so they're not so overwhelmed/overworked and can perform better. Still doesn't excuse rude behavior and medication errors. read more

Regrettably, this location rarely fills my prescription requests correctly nor promptly. I've discussed this with the head pharmacist and have contacted corporate. It might seem easier for me to move my business to another chain or location, however since Walgreens is a national chain it seems that this difficulty rests with the head pharmacist and the staff, that should be corrected. I intend to be diligent in my efforts to obtain good service. My hope is that in the upcoming months the service improves. In the meantime do not have high expectations from this location and CHECK YOUR MEDICATION FOR ERRORS. That's always a good idea anyway, but more important at this location given their ongoing errors. read more

I'm honestly shocked by all the bad reviews. I've only ever had excellent experiences at this Walgreens location and with their pharmacy. I have never had trouble filling a prescription. When I moved to a different part of town, I tried going to CVS but they never had my medicine in stock. I had my doctor fax the script to this Walgreens and they had everything ready same day, even for the really new medicine that nobody has in stock! read more

I will be moving my RX from Walgreens entirely because of the lackluster hours and customer service of this Walgreens location. On weekdays the pharmacy opens at 9 AM - after almost everyone has to be to work. Hours make it difficult to pick up a prescription on your way to work. The weekend hours are short as well so the weekend is also ruled out. The customer service style could be best described as "put out". I won't return. read more

Wow! It's sad that the pharmacy department is hurting this store's reviews so much! Please... the pharmacy is just ONE department and the rest of the store is fantastic! The store managers are so nice and helpful (Teri? I think I'm getting her name wrong; I apologize) and Carol is one of the nicest, most helpful employees I've ever met ANYWHERE! We go just because of Carol sometimes! So, please don't judge this store just by the pharmacy. The rest of the great people at this location don't deserve that. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever! It felt so good to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy today. Drive thru employees are rude and not helpful in the least. Today I heard the employee talking sarcastic about me and she forgot to turn her mike off so I heard everything. They are the administers of no instead of ambassadors of yes! And they like to use the line that you have to come in because what you are asking takes too long for the drive through. I just needed for her to confirm that my coupon was good! Terrible terrible customer service! Don't waste your time and sanity with the frustrating obviously unhappy employees. read more

The Pharmacist Lance is an ASS, I have been coming to this Walgreens's for the past 6 years and I wanted to drop off a prescription and place it in my file and he told me that Walgreens's can't keep prescriptions on file NEVER had I heard of such a thing. He's super duper rude.... read more

This is about the pharmacy. It really speaks for the manager. Won't answer the pharmacy phone. When on hold, Hangs up after 10 minutes and you have to call back. Agonizingly long "drive thru." Robotic and rude staff. Never has prescription ready. Usually say they never got the request from my doctor. It's really quite impressive how inept they really are. walgreens, my parents ran to your corner store to pick up ensure, vitamins and a knee brace for my dad because he's having knee problems on May 3rd 2020 around 7-9 pm. Your employee DEEBENA at the location of 12601 Tech Ridge BLVD, Austin TX 78753, was BEYOND DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE to my parents. There was a disagreement on if an item was on sale. DEEBENA instead of doing her part and going to check if the item was on sale she cussed out my mom, calling her "a dumb bitch who couldn't read" and demanded her to go take a picture for "proof" of the item being on sale, now i understand times are tough, and you guys need to make your numbers for the month but i really don't think that's how you handle customer service. I don't have a job right now and i haven't had one for 3 months due to COVID-19 so for someone like DEEBENA to have her job and one take it for granted when there are millions of people literally dying i'm sorry that she had to go do a price check. I never intended to make this a bigger problem than need be even when my mom told me about her having to take the picture, but DEEBENA then took it upon her self, after she MADE my mom go take this picture to tell my dad "Move out of the way of the register you're holding up my line" there was literally two people behind you. Even if she was in a rush there is a much nicer way to tell your customer to move. i just wanted to bring it to your attention and share the disrespect my parents endured while trying to buy vitamins and bring you all business. We will consider HEB down the street next time we need something. read more

Update: today i was at Walgreens again, and noticed that this was like the third pleasant experience I've had there lately. So i asked the tech if they had recently changed up the staff. She said yes, all but 3 people had been replaced. They are actually really efficient and helpful now. Changing my review to 5 stars. I'm going to try to change my kids rx back to this location as well. Old review- This is for the pharmacy ONLY. The actual store is great, and the employees are helpful and friendly. This pharmacy has been the bane of my existence for a year. The amount of effort it would take in phone calls to various bureaucracies is insane. They kept saying my kids had other primary insurance, when they don't. Their insurance company even called the repeatedly to tell them it was Walgreens error, but they still wouldn't process it. Finally, and I can't believe it took me this long, I took my kids rx to Cvs. It was processed and I was out the door in 15 minutes. I have never written a bad review before in my life, but this place is a night read more

I am not recommending this Walgreens to ANYONE. The pharmacy is UNDERSTAFFED - there should be at least 1 more person. This neighborhood is growing rapidly and Walgreens senior, regional managers are obviously NOT doing their jobs. The staff at this pharmacy works continuously every minute they are on duty, doing a great job, no problem with them, but the waiting lines are continuous all day, inside and outside. If I were the pharmacist, I would quit. read more

This Walgreens use to be so friendly and helpful. Now my Walgreens is under new management. What a disaster. I had a coupon that gives me points every time I use it. I think it was 100 points for every $1 spent. The expiration was 12/31/16. After calling the manager for another problem, he threw my coupon in the trash and said I couldn't use it anymore. Sure sad that I can't shop at this Walgreens anymore. I recommend that nobody shop at this Walgreens. read more
