The Ube pancake was by far the BEST out of the three dishes, the ube did not add much flavor, but the texture of the large pancake, the egg, chilis, and crispy thick cut bacon all made it great. This by far was one of the cutest spots I been to in a long while. The food was great. Seasoned very well. Right off the back I checked in to Yelp and got a free coffee. The only adjustment you will have to get use to is there are no waiters you have to order online or go to the counter. I do miss the face to face attention but the Atmosphere and food made up for it. Came here on a Saturday for lunch, it wasn't that busy. My friend recommended this place and so I tried it. I was told it had some Filipino inspired dishes. So my friend ordered her meal and I ordered the Baesilog which is bacon and egg with fried rice. The rice was too oily and the portion was so small, they only had two slices of the bacon which had a tocino flavor which was a bit hard, the eggs were good. Also ordered the Ube latte which was ok, I think it lacked more coffee. I tried my friends order which was actually pretty good. The chicken was moist and well seasoned, as well as the side of tater tots, and her portion was actually huge. The service was good. I don't know what some of the other reviews are talking about, the staff (especially the owner) we're incredibly friendly and prompt. I do recommend making a reservation, whether or not they say walk ins are welcome. On a Wednesday morning it was packed the whole time we were there. At first I thought the food was a little pricey, but as soon as it arrived I realized that was wrong. Beautifully decorated establishment. The food was okay and they were served pretty quick. 1 star was deducted since the photo booth wasn't working which was one of the reasons why we came. Another star was deducted because of the scalding hot water in the restrooms. My children and husband got scalded during hand washing. We very much enjoyed the Jorgito Bowl. The tater tots with the runny eggs and the salsa roja became an amalgam of savory goodness. If only the Spiced Maple Chicken 'n Waffles were of the same level, we wouldn't have left very disappointed in the meal. The bubble waffle was overly hard and crunchy and overdone unlike the soft fluffy bed for the chicken that we enjoyed on our previous visits. The chicken, too, was fried too hard and dried out. The Spiced Maple syrup was on point but couldn't salvage this dish. We brought our dissatisfaction to management's attention who tried to rectify the situation, but the 2nd attempt was barely a smidge better than the first. Even the drinks couldn't save this outing. The Citrus 99 was better than the Guava Me Passion, but we found the cocktails overly sweet. Unfortunately, we're taking Wake 'n Bacon off our breakfast/brunch rotation. read more

So there's some free parking around the place, but it's very difficult to find. However, I believe this place is worth it no matter what! When you walk in, the place features beautiful floral decor on the ceilings and a really cute photoshoot area on the right. You can print out your pictures and tape it on the wall too if you want! The expectation set is that you order using your phone, the food comes to you etc. I got coffee (no milk or cream was offered) so I got up to ask for it, no problem. The burrito was somewhat bland and the green salsa sauce was slightly more flavorful but spice level is non existent. Good enough with leathery bacon bits. I'm still ok. And then I tried the tater tots, crunchy and hard enough to give your jaw a workout. I normally just don't say anything but decided to go up to the counter and shared my feedback. If you are expecting the staff to solve problems for you, go elsewhere. I was told that the latest switch to the tots are making them come out this way. Well, good to know that! I'm so sorry for your restaurant and what you guys must be going through. I know it must break your heart to serve this to your customers. End of sarcasm To the management (for training purposes), here's what you should teach your staff (rather than rely on customers to call you with problems, enable your staff to handle problems). Here's what I would have said. Option 1: "I am sorry they are not to your liking, can I offer something else?" Boy was I shocked at how small the place is! I discovered this restaurant on TikTok and the video made it seem so spacious. Masks are not required and there is no social distancing. The bar table near the window is open for walk-ins, otherwise tables in the middle require reservation according to the cashier. This is not a server-based establishment, however ordering is quite simple. You can either order at the register or through a website using the barcode on the table. The French Toast I ordered came out with hair on the first slice. It felt like I wait longer than most to get my food, so I just removed the contaminated slice and enjoyed the rest. I love that they take reservations, but fair warning the seating is limited and reservations on busy weekend days are like gold. They do have a small section of bar seating by the entrance for walk ins but it is tight. The interior is beautiful and bright and I can see why it is so popular on social media. I've been seeing a lot of social media presence from Wake 'n Bacon online, so I was really excited to try this place! I made reservations a month ago to come as there was pretty limited availability. I think the interior and menu concept are thoughtfully made. There are a lot of unique items in the menu, such as utilizing bubble waffles and ube. I ordered the purple haze and the flapjack. The flapjack was pretty solid. You can't taste the ube much but I thought the bacon paired very nicely with the sweetness of the flapjack. For the purple haze, I used oat milk, however the flavor of the oat milk overpowered any of the Ube flavor, especially when you stirred it and mixed all the parts together. Honestly, it's probably because there isn't much flavor to the Ube part of the drink? It just tasted a sweet but no discerning flavors. The photo mirror is absolute genius! It made the experience feel very unique and memorable. I can't wait to hang my photo on my fridge. One item, make sure the area is properly stocked.
