Oh brother!!!! It's going to be a rough Sunday morning.
    Chris H.

One! What do you expect at 0043 hours on a Saturday morning. This place is awful. I warned the group I was with (neighbors). After an hour, or so, of garage drinking someone had the really bad idea of driving into town to this dump. I've been here before, just for coffee, at a later hour, in an official capacity, while working. Never ate the food here. Didn't come here to eat. Just to have a cup of terrible java while watching the others chow down on the crap they serve here. I'm middle age and the stomach doesn't handle the splattered, battered, covered, uncovered thing etc..... anymore. You can literally feel the grease in the air in this place. It's just gross. Hopefully no one sparks up a vape pen here, it might literally cause a catastrophic explosion. The two guys working aren't bad people. Just overwhelmed, with seven customers, and one online order. Anyway, make your own breakfast after garage boozing. It will taste a whole lot better.

I placed the order below and I received grits with thick lumps in it as it were old, and I rock hard burnt waffle. This is unacceptable. The customer service at the location was also very poor, because no one working assisted, until the lady from the back came to the cash register. Other worker did not even say hello when I said hello to them. I have attached picture and video.

    Thank you!!!

Tonight we went to the Wake Forest Waffle House as my daughter first meal out post emergency surgery last week. The team made her feel comfortable, welcome, and ok about not feeling great. The kind gesture of the team inside will never be forgotten and made our night. Thank you! Our family will never forget the difference you three made in our recovery process tonight.

the service was okay but the wait time was unbelievable and very slow and there was no one here. i will never be coming back. i ordered my food over 45 mins ago and still missing my waffles this is the worse experience i have ever had and this is my first time here. this is the worse waffle house in north carolina.

PJ was a delightful waiter and cook here at the Waffle House. Our food was good well and out service was prompt and friendly. My kids first time ever at a Waffle House and they were amazed at how much food we got for the price.

They were really busy when we walked in. All the tables were full and the mini bar dining area was too but despite the amount of people in here we were quick to be attended and got our food fairly quick I was expecting a longer wait time on the food this is probably the best Waffle House experience I have had ever. We ordered food for 3 and none of our orders were wrong. Staff was positive the whole time and I understand they were under a lot of stress and trying to get orders out as quick as possible. Food was great as always and our waitress would check up on us even with all the other orders she had going on! This is my favorite Waffle House location for a reason. It's maintained nice and clean. 5/5 good job

This place is always hopping, I mean the wait staff and cooks are at a pace every restaurant should strive for. Foods is some of the best of any Waffle House I have been to (and yes I'm sober). I've been I here twice, no wait even though they are busy they are turning table so quickly. Manager was helping bus & wipe down tables which is always refreshing to see.

Our first visit to any Waffle House and it was a great experience thanks to our server, Melany. Wife had the Texas Bacon Egg & Cheese Melt with Hashbrowns ($6.90) and I had the Blueberry Waffle ($3.20). Both were great, but next time I will get the melt as for me it was unique, a toasted sandwich of thick crispy bacon, eggs and melted cheese. The Hashbrowns were also very good.

After running errands, we drove just six minutes to El Chapin, a Guatemalan restaurant. Forget Tex-Mex--this is a completely different Latin cuisine experience. The two of us spent $76 (including tax and tip), but we intentionally ordered extra to take home leftovers. Parking was easy, right out front, and the restaurant itself is spacious. Since we arrived just a few minutes after opening, we had the place to ourselves at first and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and very helpful--the server even suggested we might have ordered too much food (he was right, but we didn't mind!). Here's what we tried: Plato Chorizo y Longaniza - a sausage platter with salad, rice, refried black beans, and two delicious housemade corn tortillas. Pollo Adobado - marinated chicken with rice, salad, refried black beans and two housemade corn tortillas . Ceviche de Camarón - fresh and tangy, though light on shrimp, which tasted a bit tough Fried Plantains - perfectly done, sweet, and satisfying. Plus, I had an unsweetened iced tea with lemon. The highlights for me were the flavorful rice (with vegetables mixed in, including carrots and squash), the marinated chicken, and the sausages. The plantains were also excellent. The ceviche had great flavor but could've used more shrimp. The only miss for me was the salad--generous in portion but iceberg-based, so a bit bland. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, not heavy or greasy, and we left with enough for another one or two meals. We'll definitely be back.

The bar area (with plenty of tables for dining) was packed and looked cozy, but the main dining area is huge and had only a few tables in use. We questioned our restaurant choice, but decided to keep an open mind and give it a try. We are so glad we did! The food was really good. Nice presentation and clearly, whoever prepared it is truly passionate about their job. The portions are large, so expect leftovers. We ordered a fried shrimp appetizer (similar to bang bang shrimp) and a chicken quesadilla as starters. Each could have been a meal on its own and both were delicious. (It's typical bar food - but done well.) For our main dishes we ordered Shepherds Pie (server's recommendation and favorite menu item ), Northern Fish Fry (cod); and a simple cheeseburger with bacon.. everything was tasty, nicely prepared, and again...large portions. The Shepherds Pie came with fresh steamed veggies that were wonderful and a nice surprise. *Note that cod is the Northern Fish Fry- but they also offer a catfish version. The wine was 50% off both by the glass and bottle, I believe that is their typical Saturday drink special. They have a prime rib special on Saturdays as well that is supposedly delicious, and served only until they run out. There is an 8oz or 12oz option. The server was fantastic as well. She was very attentive, knew the menu, and clearly enjoys her job. What more can you ask for? Prices: Our total bill (before tip) was $127 which included a couple drinks from the bar for each of us. The dinners we ate ranged from $16-$20. The starters were a bit pricey (~$18 for the quesadillas) but again, it was meal size and truly delicious. If you are hungry for a burger or typical Irish bar food, then give this place a try. Hopefully you'll have an experience similar to ours! (Our server was home from college for the holidays, so hopefully the rest of the staff is equally attentive.)

Our server, Dawn, was easily one best servers I've had in a long time. Knowledgeable about the menu, made a point to explain everything and no questions were too obscure. We had a variety of dishes, and out of everything the pork schnitzel wasn't really a schnitzel if you've ever had one in Germany, it was more like a breaded, fried bone-in pork chop, really good but not a traditional schnitzel. The asparagus, the risotto, the pasta, the chicken were all absolutely superior. The stars were the appetizers, especially the kung pao fried Brussels, those are a meal by themselves, some of the best I've ever had! The fried burrata cheese, worth the drive to Wake Forest. Their Cherry cobbler one word: YUM! The Farm Table is a roomy restaurant with tables well suited for family style dining and while a bit loud, certainly not uncomfortably so Totally recommended and thank me later for those Brussel Sprouts!
